Spooky Halloween night...

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!

Today's my day to take over the blog at:

Victorine Original Stamps

YAY for me... 🙌

WOW! Today is the last day of August --
Where has the time gone? I'm already
thinking of Fall/Halloween projects
So I thought I would show you this
SPOOKY Halloween card I made to send
to a crafty friend - 

Isn't it SPOOOOKY??? LOL Okay it's not scary but I thought
it was kind of cool looking - 😉


I LOVE the neat Boarded Window Stamp (3049-K) from VO -
I can see so many fun Halloween projects with it - 

I also pulled out the adorable Halloween Kids Set for the fun
Sentiment on my card!

I used Distress Oxides & Distress Sprays to create
my background along with a little
White Acrylic Paint -

My Image was colored with some Zig Real
Water color brush pens and I heat
embossed the sentiment & Image in WOW! Primary Ebony
Embossing powder

I added some Shimmer Sparkle spray & some
Crystal Nuvo Drops to finish it off --

I popped my card front up on a piece of Fun Foam
and added some glossy accents to the eyes

Christmas Memories....

Hello & Happy Wednesday Everyone!

I don't know about you guys.. But...

I'm tired! UGH!! I'm just not feeling

like crafting... I think it's because... When I make

several projects at one time (like during a weekend)

by that Monday... I don't want to do ANYTHING!!!

Do you guys get like that too? It's not

just me? Right??? I still have a very big

project to complete and I keep telling myself

I need to get it done... and then BAM... I turn off my

computer and I watch a little Netflix! and I'm NOT
a Netflix watcher either! LOL

I do have to tell ya something else too... I just recently

purchased an AIR FRYER!!! Do any of you have one????

Maybe I'm LATE to the Party!!! But I'm in LOVE with it!

It's mostly my Sister's Fault! and she knows it too! tehehehe 
I've been cooking everything I can find in it! OMGOSH...
I know the "New-ness" will wear off... but for now... 
My oven is taking a nice long vacation! 😂
Everything cooks faster in it and it's GUILT FREE of frying my foods

I went to the store yesterday and bought MORE stuff to try
it in... talk about crazy??? My hubby thinks I'm nuts...
Not the first time of course... tehehehe

Anyway... I do have my Weekly Holiday Challenge
card ready to show ya!

I'm using another NEW Echo Park Paper Collection

This one is called (A PERFECT CHRISTMAS)

It has some wonderful pattern papers that I just love and some

sweet Embellishments like this adorable deer!!! 

I added a mini doodlebug Doily behind the deer for some added interest...

I also used my Sheer Sparkle Spritz on the deer, & snowflakes... It's not

the holidays without a little sparkle! 😊

Enjoy your Special day Butterfly...

Hello & Happy Friday Crafty Friends!

I've been busy with work all week

and haven't had time to post anything -

I've also purchased a couple of new things

I've been wanting - (NOT Craft related)

and have been learning how to use them -

I also have some Home Decor projects in the works

so yeah... I've been busy doing things! 😃

Last night I sat down in my craft room and

made a Lovely Birthday card for another

teacher at school - You'd think I'd have a good

stash by now... but NOPE! There is ALWAYS

someone in need of a Birthday card at school! 😃

Here's what I made!

I pulled out some Distress inks for this card - I'm using Evergreen Bough,

Cracked Pistachio, & Shaded Lilac

After coloring up the card front, I pulled out my Misti and

stamped the Beautiful Butterflies (Butterfly 1595-C) from

Victorine Originals - Then I used my Sheer Shimmer Sparkle

Spray (no surprise since it's my favorite) - Then added some

water drops and lifted it off with a towel.

 I used my Heat tool to dry it - 

I then put it through my Big Shot using 

the Stitched Rectangle Die from My Favorite Things

I think it adds such a nice border around the card front....

After that was complete I found a great (Celebrate) word die

from My Creative Time (Cutting it out 3x's) for dimension

Then used the "Enjoy your Special Day" sentiment from

My Favorite Things (Birthday Greetings set) and Heat

embossed it with WOW! Ebony embossing powder on

a strip of vellum - Wrapped it around my card front

and added a piece of Fun Foam to the backside

to POP up my card front on the Purple Card base

I decided to add some Clear Wink of Stella to the "Celebrate"

word die just to tie in with the rest of the sparkle on my card!

And Added some Rainbow Sparkle Jewels & Ice Cube

Jewels from Lucy's Cards with some glossy accents

I really like how pretty the colors blended together and the

butterflies are just lovely - I'm sure the Teacher receiving this

will think the same thing... 😉

Camp Create Day #5 Delightful Die cutting!

Hello & Happy Monday Crafty Peeps!!

Are you guys as exhausted as I am???

It was a long first week back to school -

then I went NUTS by trying to join the

Fun over at My favorite Things Stamp Blog

while they celebrate the end of Summer

with another week of Camp Create!!!

And now it's back to work again today - UGH!

Maybe I'll get some rest when it's Labor Day weekend! HAHAHA

Well... it's my LAST Post for Camp Create!

I'm trying to earn my badge for Day #5

Delightful Die cutting

Here's what I created to show you!

Now.... Who knew I was gonna throw in my Weekly Holiday Card Challenge???

ANYONE??? I know... I surprised myself too! LOL

I wasn't gonna do it, but then thought... well... I need to make my holiday 

card anyway... so why not??? tehehehe (BONUS) for me anyway! 😊

So... I think the point of this card is too make the Sentiment the

Focal point of the card - The background objects are suppose

to be subtle while the sentiment POPS!

Which I think I achieved with this card - 

I pulled out my Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide ink

and created a background with it - then I used it again

for the Tree Die Cut - from Papertrey Ink (Shaker Shapes Die)

I used my Blueprints #13 Stitched Rectangle Die, then

attached my tree on top! I then used my Sparkle Shimmer

Spray and dabbed some of the color off using a cloth --

I attached some fun Foam to the back and adhered it

to my Gold Foil/White Card front base --

Then I die-cut the word (Peace) from Hero Arts 3x's

I made sure that 1 of the word dies had adhesive on the front

& back of the word - this way I could attach some gold foil to it -

After rubbing the gold onto the word die, I peeled it back to reveal 

the pretty gold, which totally Stands out on my card!

I then added a couple of gold sequins to tie it all together - 

I really like the simplicity & subtleness of my card -

Camp Create Bonus: Awesome Ombre

Hello & Happy Sunday Afternoon!!

I'm back again with another card

for My Favorite Things Stamp Blog

I'm trying to earn my BONUS Badge!!!

The Bonus Badge is

Awesome Ombre

Here's what I created for this Challenge --

I totally LOVE the way this card turned out! YES, it's PINK again! Again

NOT my Thing! But I'm sure a Teacher at School will LOVE it!! 😁

So on this card, I chose to use a Stencil - The stencil I'm using

is by Gina Marie Designs (Chic Stencil)

To be honest - I don't own many stencils - they're on my

WISH LIST! So eventually I'll have a nice stash of them -

I went with my Distress Oxides again (LOVE THEM) -

Using Picked Raspberry, Abandoned Coral, & Worn Lipstick

Going from the bottom (Dark to light) to give it

that Ombre look - Then die cut the panel out with

the Stitched Rectangle Card Frame from Blueprints #13

I wanted to use my new MFT Dies, so I pulled out the

(You Trio) Word die set and die cut it out 3x's - I only colored the

top layer, since no one will see the other 2 layers (wink wink)

Trying to stick with the ombre look on that as well --

The "Happy Birthday to" sentiment stamp is from (My Craft Spot) 

which is no longer in business - I heat set it with some white embossing powder

Then Die cut it out with a Banner from MFT (Essential Fishtail Sentiment banners)

Placed it over the YOU die and then added some

Clear adhesive gems to finish off my card!

Camp Create Day #4 Monochromatic Magic

Hello & Happy Sunday Crafty Peeps!!

I'm back again with more Camp Create projects

Today I'm trying to earn my Badge for Day #4

Monochromatic Magic

Here's what I came up with for this one!!

So... It's another Birthday card for school! I used several different 

Pinks for this card -

I'm NOT a Pink color girl - But I'm sure one of the female teachers

at school is and will love it! 😃 

I used my Distress Oxides on this card - Worn Lipstick, Abandoned

Coral, Picked Raspberry - blending them together, going from dark 

to light - Then I Die cut it out with a FUN Stitched Wonky die

from Gina Marie Designs - I sprayed it with my sparkle spray and let it dry

While it was drying, I die cut out a Scalloped Heart Die from

My Creative Time - inked it up with my (Aged Mahogany) Distress ink

to give it another shade of pink! 😉 Then gave it a quick spray of Sparkle!!

I already had the CUTE Flamingo cut & Colored sitting in a baggie on my desk

The Flamingo is from (Lawn Fawn) and I colored it with my

Chameleon pens - 

I attached the heart & Flamingo, then used an ADORABLE Sentiment

from My Favorite Things called (Tinkled Pink) with some

memento London Fog Ink - I added some Fun Foam to the back and

adhered it to my Mambo Pink card base - 

Added the final touches with some Rainbow Sparkle Jewels (Lucy's Cards)

Camp Create Day #2 Magnificent Masking....

Hello & Happy Saturday Again!!!

I'm back with my Second post of the day!

You can find my 1st post RIGHT HERE!!

I'm trying to earn ALL my Camp Create Badges

so I have to get these projects posted ASAP!!!

The Badge I'm trying to earn this time is

Day #2 Magnificent Masking

Here's the Project I made to show you

My friend GEORGIANA will be happy to see that I FINALLY

Pulled out my (CLOUD STENCIL) by My Favorite Things!!

YUP!! Finally took it out of its package to create the cloud background -

I did some masking in order to create the sky & ground

The Sky was made with Broken China Distress ink and 

the Ground was made with Vintage Photo Distress ink

I think it turned out pretty neat! :) I added a SWEET

Puppy dog that I colored with my Zig Real brush pens

The Puppy & Sentiment are from MFT (Friends Furever)

Stamp Set - I thought my card was kind of plain so I decided to

add some stitching with my Stitched Strip die (MFT)

I think it really adds some character to my card!

The Tag Frame die is from Queen & Co (Christmas Frame Tag)

The Design Paper for the tag frame is from MFT (Fun & Frolic) 6x6 pad

I finished up my card with some Rainbow Sparkle Jewels (Lucy's Cards)

Camp Create Day #1 Inlaid made Easy...

Hello & Happy Saturday Everyone!

I know.... it's not my "Normal" day to post -

BUT... My Favorite Things Stamp  Blog has

another round of Camp Create

going on and I really wanted to participate again!!

Call me CRAZY! But I thought, Why not!!! 😃

So I'm gonna have 2 posts today - This is my First one -

I'm earning my badge for Day #1

Inlaid Made Easy

Here's what I came up with!

Now tell me this isn't CUTE!!! I thought this turned out adorable!!! LOL

I cut the Sun Ray Die by My Favorite Things out 2 x's

I colored the first one with a Distress Ink - Mustard Seed

The Second one I colored with Distress Oxide Inks - Fossilized Amber,

Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade -

So basically, I took the pieces of the Sun Ray from the Distress Oxides 

colors and puzzle pieced them together with the outline from the 

Mustard Seed Distress Ink Sun Ray -

Once I had them in place I adhere it to a piece of fun foam

so it'll POP on my card - Then I decided to use the 

(Smile) Die from Pink & Main - Cutting it out 3x's then added

some shading to it and placed it on my card -

I wanted this to be a Birthday Card for another Teacher at School

so I stamped the "It's your day" above the word smile -

Then I thought it needed a HAPPY Face -

So I stamped the (Sweet Faces 3) Stamp from Pink & Main

in the circle spot... Added some pretty Rainbow Sparkle Jewels

and there ya go! LOL

As you can tell by this photo, I have a Sun Ray left over so I can make 

another card with it - I also used my FAVORITE Sparkle Shimmer Spray

on my card... and oh boy does it sparkle!!

Here's what I created to inspire you --

I decided to just go with the THEME for this Challenge -

I'm using the Beautiful Butterfly Clear Photopolymer Set

along with the Happy Birthday (2972-C) Sentiment Stamp

This Butterfly stamp set, is another fabulous set that I just adore from

Victorine Originals - 

I chose to do some stenciling on my card - This is something

I don't do often enough.... 😊The Geometric Pattern Stencil

is from Gina Marie Designs 

I used Distress Oxide inks on my card in Abandoned Coral,

Picked Raspberry, Fossilized Amber, & Iced Spruce - 

I wanted my Butterflies to POP so I stamped them with

some Versafine Black Onyx ink then added some 

WOW Primary Ebony Black embossing powder... Then

heat set them - I think they look wonderful  - I added some

dimensionals to pop the butterflies up on my card and

added some Fun Foam to the card backing - The stitched

Rectangle & Banner Dies are from My Favorite Things.

Before I completed my Card I made sure to add some

Sparkle Shimmer Spritz and added some Clear

Adhesive gems....
