I actually don't have a post today because this

is one of the busiest weeks for me at work!

ALL the kid's parties going on today at school --

Means -- a BIG Mess for me to clean up -- LOL

Sometimes it takes more than a DAY to clean up

after certain types of events - So YUP!

I got my work cut out for me today!! hahaha

Here's what I created to inspire you --

So, I decided to go along with the Theme (Give Thanks) 

and I tried to incorporate some of the colors as well --

I'm using the BEAUTIFUL Sentiment Stamp 

THANK YOU - 2873-J from VIctorine Originals

It's so Elegant, so I HAD to Emboss it with some

lovely Gold Embossing powder - I wanted it to stand out

on my card front - The beautiful Designer Papers I'm

using are from My Mind's Eye (Darling Dear) 6x6 pad

The Stitched Rectangle Die is from MFT

The Stitched Label Die is from Kaiser Kraft

The Stitched Leaves are from Lawn Fawn

The Jute Twine is from Papertrey Ink

The assorted sequins is from my Stash

Take the Candy...

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!

Today's my day to take over the blog at:

SumMore Fun Blog - (Victorine Originals)

YAY for me... 🙌

I thought I would show you an 
ADORABLE Halloween Card I made using
the SUPER CUTE Raisin Boat Stamp set called
Boo Hoo (9107-Z)

I actually had this stamp set for about 2 weeks and then I had a DREAM -
Crazy? you betcha! But I kept dreaming of making this exact card and I
knew if I didn't make it, I would not have been able to go to sleep that
next night - Have ANY of YOU had that problem??? You know...
Dream of a card or have an idea in your head that HAD to be made?

It doesn't happen too often, thank goodness, but I knew I'd go
crazy if I didn't make it - and it's a simple CAS card (Even Better!)

All I did was stamp the adorable image with some versamark ink -
Heat embossed it with white embossing powder - Then pulled
out 3 distress inks to color over the image.... I added some droplets
of water and lifted the water droplets up with a paper towel --
Then I die cut it out with a wonky border die - Popped it up on
a black card base with fun foam - I heat embossed a sentiment on
a strip of black cardstock and made it into a banner - Then added some
Enamel dots and I was done! It's exactly how I dreamt it...

Reindeer Tree....

Hello & Happy Tuesday everyone!

I've got my weekly Holiday Challenge card
ready to go and share with you -

As most of you already know... I went to
a Holiday Card Class about a week & a half ago
and we made about 8 or 9 holiday cards -
I'm not sure where the designs came from
so I can't give credit to whoever designed them
but I will say I altered them to work for me -

My friend made them as kits for everyone to make 
and made them fairly simple to create because she
has a lot of friends who prefer basic, simple card designs
and I do too, to some extent, but the cards needed
something more for me - So I'll show you the card
she made and then the one I Altered to work for me ---

Here is her card design that I had to create --

Sorry about the glare - I took the photo's of each card in their
cellophane bags -- Now let me start by saying this
card has some cute images on it - the biggest issue
I had with it was the size!! Her card measured at 5 x 5 1/2
which is an ODD size to me - Her card also opened up
like a Tri-Fold - the trees & deer are attached to the
bottom of her card and open that way with the
floral designer paper showing thru.... I like the idea of it!

So this is what I created with the pieces ---

First, I changed the cardbase to be an A2 size card (4 1/4 x 5 1/2).... 

I like her tri-fold idea but decided NOT to use it - What I did was add

Acetate to mine - I cut off my white card base front leaving about

2"s hanging over, and then cut an additional 1" strip for the lower

portion of my card front - Then I cut a Piece of Acetate to fit the front 

of my card - So now, it was see through.... which was neat -

But then I thought? Hmmm If I place the floral pattern on the inside

to show through.... I won't have much room to write a little

something inside - That bothered me - so I added the Floral pattern

paper to the acetate window and then covered it up with another piece

of white cardstock (4 1/4 x 5 1/2) - 

so it looked clean on the inside without anything showing -

Then I proceeded to decorate the front with the green

pattern paper and colored the images with my Zig Brush pens

Since my card size was smaller than hers, I didn't need 2 trees

I also eliminated the twine because I thought

the card was busy enough --

I used my Clear wink of Stella pen on the

tree & bulbs on the deer, just to add some sparkle!

I had some stitched banner dies, so I used them instead

of plain banner cuts and added Nuvo drops & Clear gems 

I really like how mine turned out!

Well... I've got more to share with you - But for now

Family Circle....

Hello & Happy Monday Crafty Friends!

Today, I've got a super quick post to share -

Sabrina, the owner over at SumMore Fun - Victorine Originals

gave us each this FUN Stamp set called 

Family Circle (9014-Z) to play with...

She wanted us to send her quick & easy cards

for her to use at Expo Events for the customers -

So I came up with this CAS card --

I took the one clear stamp and stamped it in 5 spots on my card front in

different colors (I chose Earth Tones) - Then I stamped the 

Family stamp on a piece of scrap white cardstock and used a

circle punch to pop it out and up on my card front -

Then I took the different words and placed them on each of the

circle lines and added a couple of hearts as well...

Then I used a Stitched Frame die to give it some added

Character - placed a piece of Fun Foam behind it and 

attached it to a Mustard Color Card Stock base - 

You could add some Gems or Nuvo drops if you'd like, or

even some twine bows.... but

my goal was to make it super simple for someone to recreate

quickly at a craft show -

Quick Halloween Treat Bag!

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
I thought I would share a FUN Halloween
Treat Bag I made for the

 Victorine Originals Mood Board Challenge --

It's still going on if you want to play along with us

I Embossed & colored up the SPOOKY 

BOARDED WINDOW - 3049-K Stamp from Victorine Originals

Using my Canson Water color paper, Zig Real Brush Pens

Brother Scan N Cut Machine, Black embossing Powder,

Versamark Ink, Misti Tool, & Embossing Buddy

I stamped the other side with a CUTE Sentiment stamp

from the HALLOWEEN KIDS STAMP SET -

I told ya it has some great stamps & Sayings on it -

This was the perfect sentiment for my tag! I used my

Misti & some Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide Ink on it

The Orange Eyelet is from my stash

and the Chevron Treat Bag, along with the Trendy

Twine are from Annie's Paper Boutique

 Halloween Mood Board -

OMGOSH... Isn't this the sweetest? The Bear & Puppy are

just so CUTE together! I put this card together using 

Paper Play Sketch Challenge #49 - I Loved the

simple layout of that sketch!

Completing Holiday Cards --

Hello & Happy Tuesday everyone!

How was your weekend? Mine was

too Short! HAHA! We had our Fall Break

which was a nice 4 day weekend and I was able

to get tons of stuff done along with an all day

event on Saturday making Christmas cards with friends!

Sooo... Guess what I'm sharing today? 

Yup! My Weekly Holiday card!

Now, I know I didn't share one this last week....

But that was because I knew I was making several

of them on Saturday... Either way... I'm still ahead of the game!

Yay! For me! - 

Now let me start off by saying - I'm sure these card

designs came from somewhere - (IE. Internet? Magazines?

SU? CTMH?) - Honestly, I don't know

where since I was given each packet as is...

So, I can't give credit to anyone, since I really don't know -

Of course - I ended up changing ALL of them

or almost all of them, to fit what I like - The hostess

of this card class, tries to make the cards simple

for most of the ladies who attend it because they're

not your everyday Cardmaker like me & you are!

And she knew I was gonna change my stuff up

and add or subtract from her designs! At least she knows

me well enough to know, that's how I WORK! Hahahaha

So here is her card design that I had to create --

YES! It's a CUTE card - But I had a hard time with

the scallop, the sentiment, the large Hat & Bow -

So this is what I created with the pieces ---

First, I changed the cardbase to Black.... it makes it POP more -

Then I added Faux Stitching around the White Cardstock -

Then I changed the Embossing - I used the Lawn Fawn Swirl 

Stitched Plate... Then I used a Jaded Blossom Snowman

Stamped Image and colored in the carrot nose - 

I changed the hat to a Stitched Hat from My Creative Time - 

I chose to use Trendy Twine instead of the ribbon and

I removed the Circle/Scallop & Sentiment and replaced them

with the Label die from My Creative Time and the Sentiment is

from Crafting Desert Diva's, I Think?? -- 

Well... I've got more to share with you - But for now

Here's what I created to inspire you --

So, I decided to go along with the Theme (Halloween) and

use the (Colors) for this Challenge -- 😁

I told you guys before that I just ADORE the 

HALLOWEEN KIDS STAMP SET

each image is just so CUTE! And it has some fun sentiments

to go along with it! 

I pulled out my Doodlebug Halloween Papers and wanted to use

up some of the "extra" pieces - you know those SCRAPS

we all have!!  And came up with this - The Stitched Rectangle

frame & Stitched Circle dies are from MFT

The Stitched Banner die is from CDD and the 

thinner stitched rectangle dies are from Lil' Inker Designs

The Adorable FRANKIE is from Victorine Originals

and I added some Cloud 9 Rain drops in Black, orange, & Green 

then pulled out some purple doodlebug sprinkles to finish off the front 

I also wanted to share the inside of my card with you -
so you could see the adorable sentiment that came with this stamp set!
I added a strip of DP from Doodlebug and some glitter candies
I found in my Halloween stash of stuff! 😁

BOO! from me....

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!

Today's my day to take over the blog at:

Victorine Original Stamps

YAY for me... 🙌

I thought I would show you a FUN
Halloween Treat box I made for my son -

He's to old to go trick or treating (according to him)
 so I thought I would surprise him with a treatbox
that he can enjoy without leaving the house! LOL

I thought the Vampire was perfect for my son!
 I'm using the totally adorable Halloween Kids Stamp Set - 
there are (6) different images in this set and a couple
different sentiments as well -- they're all so cute! - 

I started out with some Scrap Halloween Cardstock from DCWV
and a treat box die - The box was pretty simple to make
I needed to cut 2 halves out and adhere them together
to make the box - both sides have a little window so
I put 2 tiny pieces off acetate on the inside of my box
This way the candy won't fall out!

I colored my Vampire with my Zig real brush pens
on some watercolor paper then cut it out with my 
Brother Scan N Cut machine - I attached the little
guy to the front of my box - Then took another
Scrap piece of paper and Stamped the sentiment
on it using some Memento Tuxedo Black ink -
then I found a stitched tag die that would fit
around my sentiment, die cut it out, made a small
hole at the top of it so I could put an orange eyelet thru -
Found some FUN Trendy Twine and put it through my
Tag and holes in the box and made a bow --

Now it's ready for some candy!!!
