Crafting is my Jam!!!

Hello & Happy Friday Everyone!
YAY! The weekend is here already!
I always look forward to doing NOTHING
on the weekends - Staying in my PJ's is way
more fun than running around town doing errands!!!

I have one more PRINT N CUT Hybrid Card to Share!

I designed this one for a SWEET CRAFTY FRIEND OF MINE!!!
She really likes this Echo Park Digital Paper Collection called (I Heart Crafting)
So, off to work, I went with designing this one in my Silhouette Program

I LOVE the pretty Colors in this Collection

As you can see from my Screen Shot -
I designed it first and then copied it to separate the pieces for
printing then cutting out - I made 2 of this card -

The Scallop border was just for reference -
I used my EK Success Scallop Border punch on my card

I also want to mention, that I tend to make my
Digital cuts a little bigger than my original design -
WHY? you ask?

Well, it's because I tend to use my Regular Metal Dies
on my cards (giving it the more Handmade look)
Cuz they ARE HANDMADE!!! :)

So, like the circles I created, I make them a little bigger
on the screen and cut them out then
I use my Stitched circle die to give it the look I want -

Now, some of you might say... THERESA...
You can make stitched lines on your circles
and cut it out - YES! I know that... But I Don't
like the way it looks - So, I cut it out as a circle then
I use my stitched dies on them -

This is just the way I LIKE to do IT!
You can do it any way you like... :)

If you have any questions on how to do this method  -
that I may have forgotten to mention
Please shoot me an email (My email Address
is under my picture) on my blog -

Thanks for stopping by this week!
Have an AWESOME WEEKEND!!!!

Birthday Gift Card!

Hello & Happy Thursday Crafty Peeps!
I'm back with another Hybrid Card
using Print N Cut and my Silhouette!

This is another Birthday card for
a Teacher at School - You guys know
I always need to have birthday cards
made since I make them for our Staff!

I'm using the Echo Park Digital Paper Collection (I am MOM)
The Sentiment & Stitched tag are from my stash
and the triple bow is made with Lemon Twist Trendy Twine!

Here's what it looks like on my Screen Mat -
I always design the card first, choose my paper, then
make a copy of it so I can separate the pieces to
cut them out while keeping the original design
off to the side for my reference!

Sometimes, I just spend a day designing cards in
my silhouette studio program - either to use with Digital Paper OR
with Regular papers - I always like to create my designs
ahead of time, so when I'm short on time
I just need to pull it up and cut out my pieces -
or use the design as my reference with my metal dies!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a Beautiful Day!!!

Live it Up Cowboy!!!

Hello and Happy Tuesday Everyone!
How was your weekend?
 Did you do anything FUN?

We're teaching our youngest how to drive
so we've been taking turns driving with him
on the weekends. I took him out on Friday
for 3 hours and it was fun hanging with my baby!

It reminded me that I only have 2 years left
with this sweet handsome guy before he moves on
to bigger & better things in his life!
Makes me a little sad! :(

Anywho... This weeks theme is PRINT N CUT!

I LOVE using my Printer and my Silhouette together
I have tons of Digital Designer paper collections
on my computer (Saves me space in the craft room!)

So let's get started!

Today's my Co-Workers Birthday and he is 100% Cowboy!
So I designed this card just for him - I hope he likes it!

I'm using the Carta Bella (Giddy Up Boy) Paper Collection
Everything was printed out on my Canon Pro 9000 Mark Printer
using a 12 x 12 sheet of Bazzill white smooth cardstock -
Then I put it in my Silhouette Machine so it could cut out all the pieces

As you can tell in my ScreenShot picture - I created this card
with a design, I made a while ago for a different card!

This type of card is called a HYBRID
Where it's printed out but then you still piece it together
yourself along with adding embellishments
I added some Papertrey Ink Jute Twine - Tied them into small
knots and adhered them to the paper buttons

The Cowboy on the horse is from the Silhouette store and
I just dropped in some Digital paper to give it the color it needed!
The Sentiment is a stamp from my stash
I also used a couple of Dies from my stash as well

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a Fabulous Day!

Lots of pink Birthday...

Hello & Happy Friday Everyone! YAY!
It's the Weekend!!! Which means I have
a nice holiday break! YESSS!!!!

What shall I do this weekend???
Stay in my PJs and craft? Or maybe
spend some time in the kitchen cooking/baking?
I love the idea of both things! They are my favorite
things to do anyway! 😉

I'm back with another Birthday card that has been foiled!!!

This time I did Heat Foiling and No Heat Foiling!

(No Heat Foiling) - I made the assorted sized background strips
using an assortment of adhesives strips...
I think I used 1/8", 1/4", & 1/2" strips then I just laid the
foil right on top of the adhesive rubbed it in
and pulled up to reveal the design... The foil I used
was Minc Pink Gold Ombre -
(Heat Foiling) - The Sentiment with the cake on it
is a Gina K foilmates design that I put through
my Yourstory Laminator & used some DecoFoil Bright pink

I did add some jewels and feel this one
is very girly with all the pink on it! 😊

Thank so much for stopping by!
Have a Fantastically Crafty Weekend Everyone!

Happy Birthday Foil....

Hello and Happy Tuesday Crafty Friends!
I gotta tell ya... this weeks theme I've
become Obsessed with! EEK! FOILING!!

I've tried foiling a little bit in the past
and it was okay... I mean everything looks
so pretty and shiny... Who doesn't like that?

But one of my son's bought me a
Laser Monochrome Printer for Christmas
and I'm in LOOOVVE!!!
It's a wonderful printer in general but
it's amazing to use with foiling. Especially
HEAT FOILING! Which I can't seem to stop doing!

You'll see... I've made so many cards already
using it and I've got a HUGE jump start
on my Holiday cards using it... That's right!
I think this year everyone will be getting a foiled card! hahaha

But This week, I'll be sharing some more Birthday cards!

I still have a ton of Gina K Designs FoilMates, so I thought I would use
those today...
See what I'm talking about? Soo Shiny!!!! 😍

The background and sentiment have the Rainbow Deco foil on them
and in my stash of 12 x 12 papers that I've hoarded way too long I found
I owned Metallic Papers by Making Memories... They match PERFECTLY!!
So the Light Green & Blue are the Metallic papers.
I honestly didn't think this card needed anything else because
it has enough glam all on its own! 😉

Thanks for stopping by!!
Have a beautiful day!!

Lavender Bday wishes....

Hello & Happy Friday Everyone!
I've got 1 more card to share using
some dies from My Creative Time -

As you may have noticed, they are ALL
Birthday cards as well... I make a lot
of birthday cards for the school, I work at.

I also make a few extras to sell to the teachers...
They like my cards and request them all the time so
I like to have several on hand for them.

I'm using the same 6x6 paper pad I used for Wednesday's card...
See... I'm sticking with my plan! 😉
The Sentiment was heat embossed with black
embossing powder... More Grape Fizz Trendy Twine
and some jewels - I have Clear Wink of Stella
on the Flame... This paper pack has Foil & embossing
on the papers... so taking a picture was a bit hard
for this one.... Trust me... it really looks pretty in person!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a Fabulous Weekend!!!
