Good Morning and Happy Wednesday to you all! I wanted to share with you this card I made and I got $5 out of the deal as well.... :o) As I told you yesterday my Middle Son Juston turned 15 yrs. old.... Well in my family I tell ALL my boys that when it's someones Birthday or Holiday or whatever.... that requires a card - to make it themselves instead of buying a card.... It means more when it is made from the heart... RIGHT???? Well my oldest boy Mathew who is 17 yrs. old was asked if he made his brother a card yet??? And well.... you know what the answer is.... LOL And so he says you make him one for me mom.... I reply with... sure for $1.50, He says OK... I say if you want the inside done it will cost $2.50 for the card..... So My Son.... Who is also employed and has his own money says.... I'll give you $5 for it.... I say SURE! So I made him this card to give to his brother for his Birthday! :)

I also wanted to add that when I told Mathew that his Brother Hunter (Who is 7 yrs. old) was also going to sign the card... He said... then I'm not paying you the $5, then I told him that I threw in a Gift Card which cost more than the $5 and if he wanted to pay for that, then he can... Well that's when he handed over the $5.... LOL

Very good! Not just the card (which I like very much) but I like how you charged your son for it. Kinda reminds me of the old days, eh? LOL... I really like it and congrats on the new computer!
ReplyDeleteI didn't think I was going to be able to get online this evening. Work, canning tomatoes, it's almost bedtime and still have to get shower. Got to be at work at 6 in the morning. But, I am sooooo glad I got on here. I just love this card, the sentiment is priceless, but the story behing it is the very best part!! I'm still laughing!! Have a great night and spend that $5 on something crafty!!! :)
