Hello and Happy Thursday everyone! It's the end of the
line for me! Well...... End of the week! Any whoo...
I've had an easy week of schooling my son! Which
is wonderful news for us! It seems to be working out well
now and I hope I'm teaching him all the work I'm suppose
to be teaching him! :o) We went to the local library yesterday
to pick up some Science books... Having a little trouble with
that subject! It never was my favorite subject so that might
be why it's hard on us both! LOL But I did find some fun
experiment books so I'm hoping that will get both of us on
the right track! My son picked out 3 library books too
read... Not that he doesn't already have a nice library of his
own... But I thought it would be nice to pick out something
he doesn't already have in his library collection.... Any
way... I told ya yesterday I had something other than a
card today! Well that is true! I hope you like it!
The Butterflies are not popped up, I only
attach the centers of the butterflies so I could
pull the wings up to give it some dimension. I really,
really like how this came out! I designed this in my Design
Studio first and then transferred it to my Gypsy for cutting!
I've already started to write in it... Like the directions on how
I made this! This way I know where to find all my ideas/sketches
in one place and not on all types of scrap paper... which I have
done from time to time.... I also have a larger notebook that I
write in but I also write other stuff in there... Like when the
phone rings and I need to jot something down quickly... Soooo
hopefully I won't do that with this book! I'll let you know
how that goes! LOL Thanks so much for stopping by and
thanks for any and all comments! They mean a lot to me!
Have an AWESOME rest of week/weekend!!
Theresa

What a neat idea and a really cool book! Love the colors and your creativity!
ReplyDeleteYour book is really pretty....the colors are so soothing...
ReplyDeleteI love it! What a great idea. I use whatever piece of scrap I have to jot things on, too!! Maybe I need to do me an idea book.
ReplyDeleteScience never was my favorite subject, either. In fact, I failed first semester when I was a freshman. It was back when the metric system was such a big thing and they thought we should know it and they taught it in science. That's what made me fail!!! So glad ya'll found so great books at the library to use. Have an awesome weekend!!! :)
Love this book! I love the colors, but then again I love this collection of MME, lol. This is a nice book to work out of. Now maybe I'll decorate my two books, lol.
ReplyDeletei keep 2 book going at the same time,LOL one for the page i am working on what product i use and how i did this and that, and the other book keep name of the ladies i am on a tread with because i am on a lots of boards!tfs
ReplyDeleteVery, very pretty! I love blue also and love the colors you used. This is a great idea and a wonderful way to keep up with all those little details. I keep a plain old notebook on my desk to jot down everything, guess I need to fancy it up a bit! Good luck with the science thing, I think that the "hands on" approach of experiments should liven things up a bit. Just be careful....
ReplyDeleteOMG!! Theresa your comment made me laugh today!! Love your altered notebook and you know this is a great idea because I'll be out and about and get a great idea for a card and when I get home I forget all about it LOL!! so I will have to make me one of this altered notebooks for my ideas. i always make them for other people but, I've never made me one, so it's about time right? Thanks for the inspiration my friend!!

So Cool! Ya'll are just too organized for me! Hee! Hee! This really helped though... It reminded me of a list of card ideas that I wrote last week on a legal pad at work... brought it home and forgot about it. I found it! So... thanks so much for reminding me! Hmmm... Maybe I better make one of these. Hee! Hee!
ReplyDeleteTheresa, very pretty. I want to do one of those but other things come first.Love yours, great colors.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great idea! Love the colors and the butterflies are adorable! So many ideas I need to keep track of... hmmmm...
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous, Theresa! What a great way to store all your directions!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that schooling is going well. My kids have heaps of books too - but are always eager to get more from the library. Good luck with the science experiments!
