Valentine's Day....

Hello and Happy Wednesday Everyone! It's the middle of
the week already! WOWZER! I have a super quick post for today!
I'm in the middle of making Valentine's for my son...
Sooo... here's my card.... :o)

Another Card using my Gypsy while at work! :o)

Card stock - Stampin' Up, Bo Bunny
Designer Paper - Bo Bunny
Ink - Stampin' Up
Stamp - Studio G
Embossing Folder - De'vine Swirls
Cartridges - Martha Stewart Occasions
(Border Hearts) Cut @ 1" ea.
CTMH Art Philosophy
(Label Shape) Cut @ 1 1/4"
Plantin SchoolBook
(Brown Heart) Cut @ 1 1/4"
The Rosette I made myself using my Gypsy and
The Paper Trimmings Cartridge with the Plantin SchoolBook Cartridge!
I welded together some rectangle shapes from Plantin,
then welded the first shape from the overlay on the Paper trimmings
cartridge.... Once I got them all welded together I cut a trial piece
to see if it had worked and it did! Soooo then I scored it and attached
the brown heart on the front and back side of my rosette.... And BAM
I made myself another rosette! I know I told you that I own the
Ribbons & Rosette cartridge.... but when I cut the first one that I wanted
from that cartridge, it turned out tooo big... soooo I thought I would try making
myself another one as I did with my wedding card! But this time I wanted
to add a scalloped look..... Thus creating my own with my Gypsy and weld
Feature.... If I knew how to download a Gypsy file for ya
I would totally give you guys this file to use if you'd like!
Sooo if someone out there could tell me how to do it
I would gladly post that for you... So you could have a small
rosette for yourself without using the ribbons & rosette cartridge!
Just remember you have to have the Plantin SchoolBook &
Paper Trimmings one in order for this to cut with your Gypsy!

Thanks soooo much for stopping by! I hope you
all have an AWESOME DAY!!!

Theresa

  6. Yay for figuring out how to make your own rosette with cartridges other than Ribbons and Rosettes! Clever you! I'll have to try that myself, though I don't have a Gypsy. But I could try it with Cricut Craft Room, right?

    Lovely card!

  8. Hi Theresa! I'm a follower through your sis Mimi. Really like how you "pieced" together your Rosette, though I do not own a Gypsy or very many carts. I have to make my rosettes from scratch, the old fashioned way! Anyway, you made a very nice card :)
