Hello and Happy Thursday everyone! I know.... I know...
I've been MIA again! Work has been crazy and my free time
has been too..... I'm trying to do a million things all at once....
Or shall I say in a month! My husband keeps asking me.... When
am I gonna wrap the kids Christmas Gifts.... And I say well....
hopefully before Christmas Day! What about baking? I say...
hopefully before Christmas Day! Seriously.... I need to figure
out a better schedule for me... Cuz right now... my office is a
HUGE MESS! I feel lost... Oh the pressures of the holidays... eh?
I want to share something I made for my Sister as
a Christmas Present.... She did get it so now I can share! :o)
These are all wood pieces.... painted and decorated with
Scrapbook paper....
Mr. Grinch was just painted and his face was drawn
on and I added some fluff with a hot glue gun....
I used Mod Podge to cover all the letters so it'll
last my sister a long time....
I wanted to create a card to match the gift I was sending
to her.... so I downloaded this cute image off the
Internet and used Digital Echo Park Paper...
Ribbon & Card stock is Stampin' Up
Banner cuts are from the Silhouette Store....
I wanted to add a sentiment from the Grinch story....
So I just typed it out and let my printer do all the work!
I was so excited to make this for her.... She is truly the
BIGGEST GRINCH I know! LOL And I thought she could
use some holiday décor at her house! tehehehe
I'm entering this in the following Challenges:
2 Creative Chicks - Christmas/Winter
Cameo Creations - Santa is Coming to town
DLART - Thankful Thursday December Linky Challenge
Paper Playtime - Winter Fun
Thanks for taking a peek! I hope to get some free time
after Christmas.... My store will be closed so we can
take a much needed vacation and I can Craft! LOL
HAVE AN AWESOME DAY!!!!
Theresa

ReplyDeleteThis is completely adorable, Theresa. Your Grinch is perfect and I love the papers. Great card, too. Love the verse. Mimi will love it. I do. Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get the letters from?? What letter did u use for the grinch. While planning my goddaughter's wedding we ended up with an inside joke about the grinch and would love to make this for us.
ReplyDeleteDebbyP.... I got the letters from a wood store up north in Salt Lake City..... You can also buy the wood yourself and cut them out... I have a friend who does that and sells them online at an Etsy store...
