Hello Everyone! Sorry I've been MIA again... Work has been busy
and I've been working on some Home Décor Projects.... I did
finish my MIL's Cards and mailed them to her... She hasn't called
yet so I'm not sure if she liked them???? But once I had finally finished
those card... I really wanted to focus on something else... You saw my last
post with my Wood Décor Project.... I made some cute wooden Easter eggs
and something else which I'm gonna show you now.... I'm so excited
with how it turned out... Let's hope you like it too! :o)
Doesn't this look AWESOME!!! :o)
I'm so excited with how it turned out!
I made a simple Tutorial to show how it was
made... just in case someone might want to make one!
First.... You'll need a 12" Styrofoam or bigger or smaller
Depending on what size you really want... Mine is 12"
Then you'll need some pins... I have 200 of them....
Then you'll need some Burlap cut into squares....
Mine were cut at 4 1/2 x 4 1/2
I purchased a bag of Dowels for future use.... I only needed
1 and I trimmed it down some....
I started off by placing my dowel in the center
so I knew where NOT to place the burlap pieces...
Then I just mixed my colors all the way around the
Styrofoam circle.... You take 1 square and fold up the
2 ends then fold in the other ends then place a pin through
it onto the Styrofoam.... I hope that makes sense... :o)
After I got all the Burlap on... I took some paint and
painted the dowel.... While it was drying I....
Used the Print & Cut Feature on my Cameo
to print out this CUTE Ducky from the Silhouette Store
Designer is Stinkin' Cute Cuttables....
I made 4 of them... 2 for the front & 2 for the back side
of my wreath.... I used Dimensionals to "POP" them up....
And here's my CUTE Ducky attached to the Dowel....
I used a hot glue gun to attach the Ducky and
to glue the dowel in the hole I made at the beginning
of this tutorial.... I had a white ribbon on another
wreath I made... and thought that looked the best on
this wreath.... So there you have it!
I Found the Styrofoam, Burlap, Dowels,
Pins, & Paint All at Walmart!
Just thought I would let you know! :o)
