With Sympathy....

Hello & Happy Friday my Fellow Crafters!
How's your 1st week of March going?
It's the weekend and I hope you all have
big fun plans! This actually is the
kick off to our Spring Break! PARRR-TAY!!

Today, I wanted to show you the card I created for
my Monthly Card Swap Group - As I said last month
we are doing Mojo Monday Sketches all year long
with each month having a theme to them!

This months Theme is - What Ever you want
Mojo Monday Sketch # 281

Here's the Card I Created --

I went with a Sympathy card because you always
need at least 1 of these in your card stash - and
because everyone always seems to have a hard time making
these types of cards - So, I thought they would appreciate one already made for them to use in their time of need.

Here's the Card Recipe --

Card Stock - Stampin' Up, Bazzill, Georgia Pacific
Designer Paper - Basic Grey (Barista)
Stitched Card Mat Die - Die-namics (Blue Print #13)
Sentiment - Stamps of Life (Sympathy 4 You)
Sequins - Craftin Desert Diva's
Jute Twine - Papertrey Ink
I used my Spectrum Noir Pen FS4 to color the leaf

Have an AWESOMELY TERRIFIC WEEKEND!!!

  3. Theresa, this is gorgeous! The colors and patterns are so heartwarming and soothing... perfect for bringing peace to a downcast heart. The touch of sequins is perfect. These are so hard to make and I love the idea that you went this route for the group. It will be appreciated and they will be happy to have this lovely card available when needed. Wonderfully done, sweet friend! I hope you have a fabulous start to your spring break! Yay! :o)

    Hugs and blessings,

  5. Such a beautiful card! The sketch works perfectly for sympathy. What a good idea to create a sympathy card in advance. I need to do that as it's always so hard to make one when needed.

PS I got an email notification about this post. Everything worked!! Woohoo!

  12. This a lovely card. The sketch is so pretty (great way to use up some scraps) and the soft, muted colors are just perfect for a sympathy card.
