Oxide Christmas....

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
The weekend is almost here! YAY!
I recently ordered a large bookshelf, which will
be here tomorrow.... I'm gonna store my Stamps on it...
At least that's my plan! 😏

I got them all organized already, in those
plastic sleeves along with labels... but the shelf I
have (which my loving husband built me)
is not working out... so I'm hoping to get this new shelving unit
to work with all my stamps - Keeping my fingers crossed
it will work... I'm not sure what I'll do with my other shelf
But I think my hubby wants it, if I don't use it... So I better
come up with something before he snags it from me! 😂

I have my Weekly Holiday card to share with you today!
I'm using my brand New Distress Oxides I got recently from
They had a really good deal on them when it was a pre-order &
I was so excited when they finally arrived that I just had to make
something with them - They really are smoother than my
regular distress inks for sure... I think I'm in 💖

I totally 💖💖 the way this card turned out - It always makes
me happy when that happens! 😁
I used the Faded Jeans & Broken China Distress Oxides
First I stamped the snowflakes with versamark ink on white CS
then used some SSS Fine White Embossing powder -
Heat set it, then used the Oxides - they really blended so well
& smoothly together - After that I splattered some Sheer Shimmer
Frost Spritz on it - then let it dry for a second or two....

I then blended some more of the 2 colors
on some white scrap CS, so I could cut out
the Snowflake Die from Gina Marie Designs - I added a small
splatter of the Shimmer spray on it as well - You can see I brought
that same color to the inside of my card... 😃

  1. This card is absolutely wonderful! I love how the distress oxide inks blended so well. Since I just got 24 of the Distress Ink minis within the last 3 months, I probably shouldn't go trying more new things! LOL!

  6. Love! I really wanna try the oxides! I have a number of regular min distress inks and am not all that jazzed with them, maybe it's just the size of the pad. But these oxides sound waaay better! Cute card as always!!
