Witching you a Hello!!!

Hello & Happy Monday Everyone!
How was your weekend? Ready to start
a new week? Mine? It was good...
I did a bunch of cleaning again and moved
furniture around.... I think I need to unload a large chair...
I have 2 of them and they are really nice... but when I
need to rearrange the furniture, it's really hard to change
the room around with them... Hubby thinks I'm nuts as usual...
But I know I don't NEED 2 Large Chairs plus a sofa & love seat!
We shall see how this turns out - either I keep the 2 chairs or
I might remove one from my home!!! 😁

Any way.... I'm sure you didn't stop by to hear about my
furniture situation! LOL I also found time to make some
cards this weekend... I've been itching to create a Halloween
card! YES I said Halloween! I don't know why.. but it's been
on my mind a lot lately... So I sat down and created one!

I've had this awesome Witch with Cat Die from Gina Marie Designs
for awhile now, and really wanted to cut it out! So I used some
Papertrey Ink Cardstock & some Stick It Adhesive and put it through
my Big Shot 3x's. Each time it came out crisp & Perfect!

Then, I pulled out a piece of Canson water color paper and some
of my Distress Oxides to ink up the background! I sprayed the
paper with some water to give it the spots....

I used this really cool Chevron Background Cutting Plate Die
by Gina Marie Designs to add some interest!

Of course, I HAD to use my Sparkle Shimmer
Spritz ... so I sprayed my Layered Witch.
She totally Sparkles on my card!

Here is the Completed look! 😀

& Up, Up & Away Stamp Set both by Jaded Blossom!
The Stitched Banner is from Card Layer Dies #1 Set
again from Jaded Blossom! 😁 I decided I wanted a
spider in the web so I die cut 2 of them out
from the Stitched Web & Spider Die Set by Gina Marie.
The Sentiment was embossed with Simon Says Stamp
Fine White Embossing Powder. I used Midnight Sky &
Orange Soda Glitter Nuvo Drops and a Couple of
Ice Cube Jewels from Lucy's Cards.

I'm so HAPPY with how this turned out and the
feeling of making another Halloween card is
on the heels of this one! You guys know I LOVE
FALL... and with school about to start... I think you'll
be seeing a lot more Fall projects very soon!
Yes, I know it's still Summer... But I'm totally over it!
Can't ya tell! Hahahaha

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a FABULOUS DAY!!

Theresa

  10. So cool to see your card in progress. Looks like a lot of fun, and it turned out really darling. I'm not afraid of witches!! :)

Must be something in the air, though. I made a bunch of Halloween cards this past weekend, too, with leftovers I found while (trying to) organize my craft room. They are so much fun to make, probably my favorite and the thing I need the least of! Ha ha!!

I'm about to get into some of that furniture moving myself. We just ordered 2 new recliners that I have wanted for a very long time. I already have 2 large sofas, a love seat, ottoman and huge round coffee table in my family room - somethings gotta go and I don't know what! Hope we can both solve our furniture issues soon!
