Hello and Happy Tuesday Everyone!
I hope you're having a great day so far!
I can't believe we are finally in MAY!!
Yeahhhh... Summer vacation is just a few
short weeks away and my oldest will
be graduating High School.... I'm sooo super
excited for him and all he has achieved to get
where he plans on going.... :o) He's a very smart
well rounded young man with whom I am Very Proud of!
I'm gonna miss him a lot when he moves out in July....
But I know he will be fine as he continues to further
his education and complete his goals in life... :o)
I still haven't got his invitations done yet but I promise to get
working on them this week.... I probably won't be using my
cricut this time (GASP)... but the school mascot is a riding
bronco... and I believe Stampin' Up has a stamp like that...
Soooo that's what I'll be using for his invitations... Any who...
Here is the second card I made for my son's Birthday...

Cartridge - Lyrical Letters (It's Your Day)
using CriKit gel Pen Black Glitter - 1 1/2"
Everything else is cut with the JT Imagine Cartridge
Red/White Spotted Background Paper 4 x 5 1/4"
White/Blue/Red Spotted Designer Paper 5 x 3 3/4"
Dark Blue Designer Paper 4 x 2 3/4"
Flames Cut @ 1" (6 x's)
Wings Cut @ 2 1/4" (2x's)
Shield Cut @ 2 1/2"

Here is another angle to show the dimension of the
Flames and wings/shield... I used the Center Point feature
on the E2 to get (It's Your Day) just right... it is a little
tricky to do when you're trying to center a shield...
but after two mishaps the 3rd one came out just fine....
Time and patience is all it takes... :o) The inside
is also done up..... My son thought both of the
cards came out COOL! Which is what I was trying for!
Even his friends thought they were cool...
As soon as I seen the JT Cartridge... I knew it
would be perfect for masculine cards.... :o)
Well that's it for me today...
Have an AWESOME DAY!!!

This looks fabulous! It's perfect for a teenage boy (almost man, by the sounds of things!). The black gel pen glitter looks so sharp with this.
