Helly & Happy May 1st Everyone!
Can you believe May is here already?
I can't! It feels like Spring break is where
I'm stuck at (The Start of the Covid-19 Stuff) -
I know a lot of people don't know what day it is
because of being locked down - Even I forget and I
went to work through it - It just feels like a huge fog
and we are still under it! UGH!
I can tell you this much, it certainly feels like SUMMER
already around here! We've been in the '90s and
I hate the heat! hahaha, Thank goodness for A/C!
Last week I shared a card I made for the
Rainbows Challenge over at Jaded Blossom -
Well, I had a piece of the yupo rainbow paper
leftover and thought I would show ya what I created using it -
How fun is this? The Yupo paper I used was Translucent and I
really like how it looks - I used a rainbow assortment of
Alcohol Inks, a plastic ruler, and some felt to create my lines -
The idea with the ruler & felt came from this video by
I actually made a bunch of backgrounds last year
after seeing her video and hadn't put any of my
designs to good use until I saw the JB challenge!
Trust me I have more Alcohol inked backgrounds to
put together thanks to her video - I've just had them all
sitting in a pile on my desk for almost a year now! Yikes!
Can you say SLOW CRAFTER! LOL

It's great to have a stack of partly-done projects just ready to jump into, isn't it? I've got a stack of partly-done card bases on my desk at this very moment, just waiting for inspiration to strike!!
ReplyDeleteYour birthday card is so happy! It looks like you have three levels to your shaker - very cool that they don't all just fall to the bottom!
Stay cool!!
