Hello & Happy Friday Everyone!!

Do you have plans for the weekend?

I think I plan to craft this weekend,

maybe get some shopping done... who Knows?

I don't have a lot going on... with School just

around the corner for us and I got a NEW PT Job

Which I'm excited for! I think spending my weekends

at home when it's sooo HOT outside just makes sense! :)

I made this card at the beginning of the month and I gotta say

I'm soooo HAPPY with how it turned out! :) The Deer was colored

months ago along with some other cute stamps I had colored -

I forget I color every now and then and place my images in

bags... When I go to find something... I see them and say to myself

"Oh Yeah.... I made that" I better get it on a card! So, I'm trying to

do that more with the stamps & digi stamps I've already colored....

Hello & Happy Friday Everyone!

It's the weekend again YAY!!!

Do you have big plans? Summer Vacation?

Anything? We don't have plans for this weekend...

Maybe some chillin' out at home and some

(Dare I Say it....) GULP... SCHOOL SHOPPING!

YIKES! I said it! Hunter has about 2 1/2 weeks

left of Summer Vacation, then it's back to the grind!

He's excited for school to start back up... Me..

Meh.. not really... I do enjoy having my kids home,

But I also know, it's time to get back to a normal schedule...

On that note... I bring you to a Christmas card! LOL

Didn't think I would follow up school with Christmas did ya?

Hahaha.... I've always told my kids... once school starts back up

it's not long before Christmas arrives... I know most of you

are still in the dead of Summer heat.... We are too... but it

really is true, how fast School starts and then the holidays bite

ya on the butt so to speak! tehehehe

I told ya I colored a bunch of images a few weekends ago..

So, now I'm trying to make cards to put my sweet images on!

Exciting News!!!!!

Hello & Happy Wednesday Everyone!

I've got Super Exciting news to share!

I'm Thrilled & Honored to say I was asked

to be apart of the Firefly Crafts Design Team!

Firefly Crafts is an online Craft Store.... They just opened

up in May of this year! Debbie, the owner has some awesome 

Deals on Dies, Inks & more.... Since it's a NEW STORE

She doesn't have a huge selection yet, but is working on it everyday!

She sells name brand products that we all love.... 

Her shipping is amazingly FAST and she is the sweetest lady!

I'm truly honored that she sought me out to design for her!

I'm excited to start using & sharing the projects I make with

the items she carries in her store.... I hope you guys will go take a 

peek and what she has to offer - 

Today we are having a Challenge over on the 

Firefly Crafts Facebook Page

Today's Challenge is Tic Tac Toe

You can pick any 3 items, just like playing tic tac toe

- I Chose - Buttons, Teal, Shape -

I just LOOOVE how this turned out.... SO cute! :)

-- Info on my Card --

I made the card using the Gina Marie Banners die set... I

offset the banner die on my folded cardstock & cut it out on my sizzix machine.  I did the same thing with the layered piece, so it would sit perfectly... I then added my Elephant stamped image & String stamps... I masked off the Elephant so I could do the background coloring of the sky with some Tumbled glass then I cut out a cloud shape and used that as a mask to create the cloud effect using the salty ocean ink 

I used some Twisted Citron & Mowed Lawn to create the grass look

Then I took the Grass stamp and added it to the bottom

Once the background was done... I took the mask off the elephant and colored him in with my Copic Markers - C1, C3, C5, E02

Found some buttons in my stash added some twine & glued them

right where the string lines are - Finished it off with the Celebrate Sentiment from the Ellie stamp set

As you know, we went to Vegas! We had a really

nice time, shopping and visiting with my son!

Hello & Happy Friday Everyone!!!

Do ya have BIG plans for the weekend?

We are heading off to Vegas today!

Since my oldest boy lives there, we plan weekend trips 

during the Summer for Hunter

so he can spend some quality time with his big brother...

Of course that means we get to shop at Hobby Lobby,

Michael's, & Joann's.... We have a Michael's & Joann's

here, but they never have much to offer - :) 

On Sunday, my oldest will bring Hunter home and we have

a late lunch or early dinner, so we can visit with him - :)

Hunter goes back to school in just a few short weeks, so

anytime I can get him together with his brothers, I do it! :)

Java Time!!

Hello & Happy Wednesday Everyone!

I hope you're having a GREAT week so far!

I've got another colored image to share with you...

This image was actually colored by my

husband Shane! Since he is disabled, he gets

bored and needs things to do... So, he took up

coloring... he only has use of one hand... and it shakes...

So coloring can be a challenge for him... but he likes doing it!

I let him use my Spectrum Noir markers to

color some Jaded Blossom Stamps I have....

Here's the Card I made today!

This image was my favorite one, from ALL the ones I had him color

a couple of them had bad hair... so I tried to fix them....

HAPPY Holidays...

Hello & Happy Monday Awesome Crafters!

How was your weekend? Mine was really nice...

Hunter & I went to the library, got library cards, took out 

some books & movies, played the Game LIFE.... Trying

to teach him how to cook & bake... Watched some movies

and COLORED!! :) Now... I'm not very good at coloring at ALL...

I've seen sooo many amazing crafters that color like no buddies business.... ME... well.. I just color a little... 

makes me happy when I do... I'm never gonna get that good at it...

and I'm totally okay with it... :) 

Since it is Christmas in July all over blog land...

I thought I would share a Christmas card...

1st one of this year... I actually made 4 different ones

and some other cards... Some with die cuts and others

are Digi images or Stamped images that I colored.... :)

Here's my 1st Christmas Card of 2016!!!

I'm using a Digi Stamp from KaDoodle Bug Designs

This one is called DS Candy Cane Deer and I got it for like 10¢

on the KBD Website... they're on sale... or at least they

were when I typed up this post! :)

I really like the clean simple look of this card - I did "POP" 

up my Digi Reindeer, so he could stand out -
