Magnet Crazy!!!

Hello & Happy Wednesday Everyone!
Today, I've got another addiction of mine to show you!
I'm addicted to MAGNETS!! I just LOOOVE them
and decorating my Fridge with them! Over the years
I've collected a bunch - friends always give them
to me... but I've noticed I don't hardly have any
Halloween or Thanksgiving/Fall ones - Hummm

So, I've decided to try and make my own!
That's right! I'm a full blown Nut Case! LOL
At least I'm willing to admit it! How bout you??? :)

I decided to make 6 of them and I decided to
just make them with some KaDoodle Bug Designs Files!

Cutie KaToodle - Pumpkin Turkey

At the Pumpkin Patch

Not Beary Scary

Cutie KaToodle - Baby Crow

What a Fright

Shoptastic Cutie - Pumpkin Cutie

Here are the Magnets I made to add some FUN to my Fridge!

I used my Laminate machine to seal each of the magnets
so I'd get more than 1 season out of them - :)

This is the back side of one of the Magnets - Just showing you
I used 2 adhesive backed round magnets for each cut out -

-- Products Used --

Cardstock - Bazzill, Bo Bunny, American Crafts,
Georgia Pacific, Stampin' Up, Silhouette Adhesive
Signo White Gelly Roll Pen for the extra doodling
Assorted Stampin' Up Inks for shading each piece
Laminate Machine - Your Story
Laminate Sheets - Amazon (8 1/2 x 11)
Self Adhesive Round Magnets - Walmart
Silhouette Machine
KaDoodle Bug Designs SVG Files

I put 3 images on 1 laminate sheet and put it
through my machine - once it was done & cooled
I cut out around the images - then I sent each
individual piece back through the laminate machine
to make sure they were completely sealed -
Before adding the adhesive magnets - :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Have a FANTASTIC DAY!!!

Hello & Happy Tuesday Everyone!!!!
I've gotta tell ya... My craft room is looking
like a DISASTER!!! I know awhile back I told ya
I wanted to get it organized yet again - and said
I will finally blow my top and do it one of these days...
Well.. It's soooo Gonna happen!!! Like ASAP!
I have so many things that I don't use, it's seriously wasteful!

So, I may be taking a small break from crafting
to clean this mess up - I will let you know when
I get started... but it's coming within days I tell ya -
I will post my DT projects of course - but may not get to
commenting on your Blogs/FB pages for awhile, once I start

In the mean time - I will share the things I already have
done and have been waiting to share with you - :)

This card is soooo PRETTY in person! I swear! I don't think
my photo is very good and it really doesn't do this card justice at all
The copper cardstock was really hard to photograph without

Very 1st Sewing Project - EVAH!!

Hello & Happy Last Week of September Everyone!!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
I did some crafting... Trying to make a small
pillow case... had to wait for a Zipper foot to
arrive in order for me to sew it - :)

Last week I told you I was trying to learn how to sew
and I'm self teaching myself... YIKES!!! The sewing
machine SCARES the crap out of me and I always feel
very intimidated by it - I had like 3 sewing machines all given
to me (I never asked for them - MIL & Mom gave them to me)
I did sell one of them & I still have 1 that needs
a couple small parts, and I got another
one that is sorta a newer model... (not really)
but newer than the other ones I did have!

Any who - I told you I would Share my
Fall Place mats that I created - Now I can tell you, right off the
bat, that I knew I messed up the corners - they are not square
like they're suppose to be - partly because I SUCK at cutting!
I can totally admit it - which is why they are ALL off! LOL
If you notice the seam is also crazy crooked!
I apparently can't sew straight! hahaha :)
I did get a little better with each mat - (according to my mom anyway)
I decided to double stitch each mat because... Well....
It's ME who is sewing these things and I know they will
fall apart! tehehehe

Anyway.. here are the Fall place mats I made
all by myself as my very first sewing project!
I'm totally cool with any comments you may have
as I know I have a loooong way to go in learning!
I've already bought more material to try making Christmas
place mats - so let's see if I get any better! hahahha

All the Material was from Walmart - I thought I would
start out with so so material, before buying the good stuff! ;)

I also purchased an apron pattern (from Joann's) -
I'm not really gonna try that one on my own..
My mom said she would cut the pattern out for me
(Thank Goodness) & my son Hunter has been learning to sew
at school and has already made an apron (I'll share it when
he finally brings it home) - So, I've enlisted his help! (Wink Wink)

Maybe I will like sewing? So far it's not to bad since I know
I'm not that good at it! I need to work on cutting more
accurately since I'm really bad at! :)

After all my Jibber Jabber about sewing -
I think I'll share a card with you tomorrow!

Thanks for stopping by & sharing your
thoughts & comments with me!

Have a FABULOUSLY Crafty Day!!!!

Digi Holiday Tags....

Hello & Happy Friday Everyone! YAY
It's the weekend yet again! Can you believe
we are getting ready to go into October already!
It just seems like yesterday it was July!
My Oh My how the months are zooming by!
It will be January before you know it! YIKES!

I don't know about you guys, but I've had a busy week
and feel the next few weeks will be even busier as
I try to get holiday projects complete and make a trip
or two out of town - Plus work of course and
School events for my son... :)

In the mean time, I'll share my weekly Holiday
project with you! YAY! I'm sharing another set
of tags I created for my Local Monthly Card Swap Group
As I said last week - for Oct. & Nov. we make a Christmas Card
and a tag - I have to make at least 6 cards & 6 tags for my
swap group and they all have to be the same -
WHY the same? Because, If you make a different
card for each person, they may actually get jealous of the card you made for someone else - CRAZY? Oh yes! But TRUE!
Sooo, everyone has to make a set of 6 cards & they all
have to be the same... so it's fair for everyone! (wink wink)

- Here's my Set of Holiday Tags -

I'm not gonna lie... I TOTALLY LOOOVE the way these tags came out!!!
I just played around with my design in my Silhouette program - I'm using
Digi papers and Embellishments!

They even have some sparkle on them - The snowflakes do anyway!
I even like the scallop border off the sides - at first I wasn't sure I liked it that way... but after I cut out the first one & put it together... I knew! :)

-- Here are the products I used --

Digital Paper, Scallop Borders, Snowflakes, Joy Scallop - Echo Park (Home for the Holidays Collection)
Cardstock - American Crafts, Georgia Pacific
Tag Shape Cut - Silhouette Store (#50939)
Ribbon & Gems - Stampin' Up
Jute Twine - Papertrey Ink
Clear wink of Stella on the Snowflakes

Have a FANTASTIC WEEKEND!!!

Firefly Crafts - Fall Challenge

Hello & Happy Wednesday Everyone!
It's time for a Brand NEW Challenge over at

Today's Challenge is SUPER EASY!!
It's a FALL CHALLENGE!!!
And I know ALL of you can create something wonderful for it!

These are the Rules for our Challenges:

1. You MUST use a Stamp or Die
(or some other main component of your project)
That CAN BE FOUND IN OUR SHOP

2. You MUST upload a photo of your creation
to the proper album on our Facebook Page before
Midnight EST. time August 30th

3. HAVE FUN!!!

We always have a Prize too!!!
So, I would LOVE to see my crafty friends playing along with us -

The Challenge is on our
I hope you guys will join that group as well...

- here's what I created to Inspire you -

- As soon as I saw that Basket die... I knew I HAD to create
a fun fall basket with apples... Apples just go hand N hand with FALL!!!! I really love how this turned out... :)

- The basket looks like this once cut, inked & put together -

- It's a Great Basket Die... but I thought the handle was too
big for what I wanted so I did a little alteration -

- So, either way you make it, it turns out wonderful, the
weaving was super easy to do as well... I actually didn't use
any adhesive to hold it together... except for the 2 corner pieces
you see in the picture that are coming up at the top flap... That's it! :)

- I also wanted to show you the word die... I always put
adhesive backing on the back of my cardstock when cutting out
word dies.. it makes it so much more easier to have the adhesive already there then to add the adhesive after you cut out your word. In the photo you can see I cut it out 3 times, so I can layer them on top of each other to give the word more dimension -

This is the double sided adhesive I use to cut out
my word dies... it can be used for anything really... I just mostly use it for my word dies....

I have it in the 2 1/2" wide & the 6" wide....

-- Info on my Card --

Cardstock - Stampin' Up, Georgia Pacific, Spectrum Noir Ultra
Designer Paper - Doodlebug (Happy Harvest & Fall Friends)
