Hello & Happy Monday Everyone!

Long time no see!!! :)

It has been a crazy 2 weeks I tell ya!

First - I want to THANK everyone for their wonderful

Birthday Wishes!!!

Second - I want to THANK Everyone who sent me

Cards and gifts! You are all too sweet & kind and I loved

everything!!

I had such a great time hanging out with my

sister and my grown nieces - We laughed a lot! :)

Then when I returned, it was just crazy hectic!

I had no time for anything - So Finally

after working all week and cleaning my

house from top to bottom I got to sit down at

my computer - Late at night mind you, but I'm here! :)

Since I'm back, I thought I would share

a project and a BIRTHDAY GIVEAWAY!!

I told ya I would have a giveaway when I returned!

I wanted to make some quick cards and use up some leftover

papers - Trust me, I barely scratched the surface with these 2 CAS cards! 

I'm entering my cards over at Cut it Up Challenge (Butterflies & Bugs)

I needed another Birthday card (As we all do all the time) Wink Wink!

I also needed more Thank you cards - So I thought this would work!

The Designer paper is some OLD Stampin' Up series paper

Butterflies are from a Punch

Border Wavy stitch frame die is Penny Black

The stitched Circle die is Simon Says Stamp

Sentiments I can't remember

the banner die is Lawn Fawn

Clear adhesive gems are Stampin' Up

I added Fun Foam for Dimension

The card base is Mambo pink

Bunny Birthday Shaker!

Hello and Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Tomorrow is the BIG Day!!! It'll be my Birthday Tomorrow!

It's a BIG Milestone Birthday too! I'll be turning 50! EEK!!!

Normally, I'll have a giveaway to Celebrate the occasion -

And I still will have one - just not until I return -

RETURN? return from where? 

Well... I decided this year since this is a big milestone b-day

that I would go spend it with my sister!

I plan to fly out to visit her this time... Normally I drive

but thought this would be a better way to celebrate ME!

It's not something I would normally do, but I thought for a change

I deserve to treat myself! 😀

I'm pretty excited about the trip, even if we don't do anything

but visit, that'll be the best gift I give myself! 😁

Anyway... I thought I would share my last YUPO card

(OKAY... not Last.. just for now) Wink Wink

Isn't this just so CUTE???? OMGOSH... I thought it turned out Darling!

I tried one of Jennifer McGuire's Techniques with

Alcohol inks and Water Check out the Video HERE!

It's called Alcohol Ink Marbling

She shows how you put water in a container then

add your drops of alcohol ink to it, then place your Yupo

paper into the water and watch how the inks

attach to the Yupo paper - It looks so cool!!

It gives it a soft pastel look but I totally liked it -

So, I created this fun Shaker card with one of the

designs I made using that technique -

Circle Rings... Part 2!

I thought this week I would show you

some MORE Alcohol Ink Projects I made

Today's post is a 2fer one card design
this is the 2fer part! hahaha

I'm still using just the Regular Alcohol Inks
I haven't put my other ones to card designs just yet!

I always need Birthday cards - and this week is

my BIRTHDAY WEEK!!! That's right...

I got a Birthday coming up! EEK!

So, today's card I chose to try out my Alcohol Ink lifter! Part 2!

I used a 6x6 Circle Ring stamp and put my Ink Lifter all

over it, then stamped it onto my Yupo paper (Which I shared Yesterday)

So instead of wasting the ink I just lifted up -

I grabbed a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock

and stamped it right onto it! 

Now check out my New background!! 😀

How cool is that? That was so neat to try

and I was able to create another Birthday card from it!

my BIRTHDAY WEEK!!! That's right...

I got a Birthday coming up! EEK!

I love the colors all blended together! It really is so pretty to just look at!

So, today's card I chose to try out my Alcohol Ink lifter!

I've had it a while now and have been to CHICKEN

to try it out - Well... I can finally say I tried it and I liked the results!

I used a 6x6 Circle Ring stamp and put my Ink Lifter all

over it, then stamped it right onto my

Yupo design - Once I lifted it off, the circle appeared

and it looked even cooler with that subtle design -

I wanted my beautiful background to be my focal point

so I only used a simple sentiment and some sequins -

EEK! It's the weekend and I'm off for another adventure...
Not really an adventure... but it is another road trip - 😁

I have one last Alcohol ink card to show ya -

I needed a bunch of THANK YOU's for work so this week will

be Alcohol Inks and Thank You cards -

I saved my FAVORITE one for Last!!! I LOVE this card!!!

This one uses an assortment of yellows and oranges, with some brown -

  

I even used FOIL on it!!! I tried to take several pictures to see which

one would show the beautiful foiling - 

While the alcohol ink is still sticky you can lay your foil over it

and rub it on then pull up and you have foiled your

lovely design - It turns out so cool and doesn't come off!

I can honestly say this is STUNNING up close and I'm sure someone at

school is going to LOVE it!

Bring Color to your World...

Hello and Happy, Happy Friday Everyone!

I've got a busy weekend going on -
We are doing a little traveling -
Actually the next few weekends, that's all I'll be doing!

I guess it's the best time to do it before it gets HOT!

I'm back with my LAST WATERCOLORING Project!!

I'm using Digital Images from Polka Dot Orchard Designs

She is an up and coming Digital artist and my friend -

So, of course, I had to play with her new designs!

FYI - I'm not a colorist by any means -

I just try my best to color how I like - 

and hope the people receiving these cards

get some type of enjoyment from them!

Here we go with today's Project -

I have to say... this one is my favorite out of all the
ones I shared this week - LOL  - GO Figure! 

I'm using my Zig Watercolor pens on all my

images this week. I'm also using Canson XL Watercolor

paper. Everything was printed out on my Laser Printer then

I sprayed it with Krylon Workable Fixatif.

All of my cards have Fun Foam for added dimension -

I sized the digital cup to about 3 3/4" and then die cut it
out with my Brother Scan N Cut Machine -

The Sentiment is from the
 Flowers in Bloom Digital Stamp Set

The Pretty Coffee Cup is from the
Good Morning Spring Digital Stamp Set

I'm using a Wonky Stitched Rectangle Frame Die 
and some Lucy's Card's gems to finish off my card -

one would be fun to send to a friend!
