JOY!!!

Hello & Happy Wednesday Crafty friends!
I have a quick post today -- I'm sharing another
2018 Christmas card that I made using a tag
I had made for my Local Card swap group back
in 2016!!! Yup! I made the tags back then and
gave everyone their tags and 1 was mine to keep -
But I never used it - so I decided to put it to some
good use and add it to a card!

I made the Tag in Sept. of 2016 and mine had been sitting
in my craft room, so I decided to use it

I'm using some Kraft cardstock as my card base -
The Designer Papers are Echo Park (Home for the Holidays)
Stitched Rectangle Dies (Lg. & Sm.) & the Scallop Stitched Border
die are all from - My Creative Time

I did trim down the ribbon I had on the tag so it wouldn't
stick out too much on my card - I also popped
the tag up with some dimensionals--

That made for a quick easy Christmas card!

HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!!

I saved some.....

Happy Tuesday crafty friends!
How was your weekend?
Mine was boring - I started out crafting
on Friday night, but then Saturday I didn't
feel like doing anything except watch Hulu/Netflix!
Then On Sunday I got a jump start on my taxes -

Which brings us now to Tuesday! LOL
I'm hoping to craft a little bit this week
but I'll have to see how my work schedule plays out!

I'm sure you all know how that goes! :)
In the meantime, I thought I would show you
a Gift I made my son & his Girlfriend --

I've had a stack of these $ store glass cutting boards for a while now
and thought I would put at least 1 of them to some good use!

My son & his girlfriend are wine drinkers and I saw this sentiment
in the Silhouette store (131228) and thought it would be PERFECT
for them as a gift - I also purchased a wall hanger for this piece
I wanted them to hang it in their kitchen area

My son & I have a similar sense of humor, so I knew he would
get a kick out of it!

I used some assorted vinyl pieces from my stash (Black, Silver, & Red)
and I Flipped the sentiment because I was going to
vinyl this to the back side of the cutting board --

The front side which you see in the photos is very
bumpy - it has a lot of texture and I knew the vinyl
wouldn't look right on top of it --

It came out really nice and my son got a kick out of
the sentiment like I had thought!

I'm planning on making one for myself...
But I think I'm gonna use a Coffee sentiment -
Will see what happens with that!!! LOL

I hope you have a FABULOUS DAY!!

Dare 2B Artzy Guest Designer - Week #3

Hello & Happy Sunday Crafty Friends!
I'm back as Guest Designer for
Dare 2B Artzy during the month of January!

This is my Last Post (inserting SAD FACE)
I have totally enjoyed my time here and can't THANK
Everyone at Dare 2B Artzy Enough for having me
be apart of their team this month!!

Now, Let's see what I made this week --

Isn't this just the Cutest??? OMGOSH! I LOVE this

I started out by using some 110lb White Cardstock - then I Die cut a piece
of Neenah Silver Metallic Cardstock with a Postage Frame Die

I found some Stitched Slope dies in my stash & die cut them out
to create 3 different layers -- Then I pulled out a Background design
I made using the Baby Wipe Method -

I adhered the white snow slopes to my Background design
then I used a Rectangle Stitched die to trim it down
the final size was 3 1/4 x 4 1/2

Here's a close-up, so you can see this sweet Penguin riding on his sled
and I think the sentiment says it all! He looks like he's just having a ball!!

I stamped all the images on some KOH-I-NOOR Bristol
Smooth White Watercolor paper - Then colored them
with my Zig Real Brush Pens - I added some Clear
Wink of Stella to the Hat & Scarf
I adhered the Sled to the slope and then used some
Dimension to POP up my Penguin over the sled --

The Sentiment was made by using 2 circle dies
to help give it that curved look - then I just
fishtailed the ends to give it a banner design --
I popped the sentiment up as well and now
my card is ready to mail off!

Thanks so much for joining me this month!
Have a FABULOUS DAY!!!

Thinking of you at...

Hello & Happy Friday Everyone!!
YAY! the weekend is here! Thank goodness --
This week has been crazy busy at work and
I can totally use the downtime! How about you?

I thought I would share a SUPER QUICK 5 Minute CARD!

Say What??? YUP! This card really only took me
5 minutes to make!! AND - It's a Christmas card!!

Let me start by telling you - I happen to
come across the image in my scraps pile
EVEN BETTER! LOL and when I took a
look at it, I was like - Ooh, wow... I've had a
5 minute card sitting here in my stash and
didn't realize it - UGH!! LOL

Here it is --

Now how easy is that??? LOL

Basically the paper is from an OLD DCWV paper stack
When I saw it, I thought... HELLO easy card right here!

So I pulled out my Stitched Rectangle die and placed
it over my image - Then I used my Clear Wink of
Stella glitter pen on all the leaves & the birds wing --
 - then I Stamped a Christmas Sentiment
with some Memento Rich Cocoa Ink in my Misti

Thought I should make the berries pop too, so I
pulled out my glossy accents and just dotted each berry
I used a piece of Fun Foam behind the design and
popped it right up on a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Red cardbase

Besides being super simple I thought it was a cute image --
Another card for my 2018 Stash!

I think I better go take another look at my
Christmas Scrap Stash pile - Just in case I find
another 5 minute card to make!! You just never know!!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a FANTASTIC WEEKEND!!

Dare 2B Artzy Guest Designer Week #2

Hello & Happy Sunday Crafty Friends!
I'm back as Guest Designer for
Dare 2B Artzy during the month of January!

I'm just so Excited to be their Guest Designer
and I'm totally Lovin this Super CUTE

Check out what I created with it this week --

I started out by stamping the Cup & Topping images on some
Tim Holtz Water Color paper, using my Misti Tool &
some Versafine Onyx Black ink

Then I pulled out My Zig Real Brush Pens to
color up my images - I also Pulled out my
White & Clear Wink of Stella Pens to color the
Topping images - I thought they should sparkle!

Once I got the mugs colored I thought it was time to
pick some matching Papers & Dies --
I pulled out some Doodlebug Paper and a piece of Vellum
Then I added a couple of Rectangle Stitched dies & a Doily die

I decided I wanted to use a stencil & make my own background -
So I pulled this adhesive back dotted swirl stencil from my stash and
grabbed some Distress Inks to match up with my mugs --
I did some masking off since I didn't want the colors
all over my white cardstock piece --

Here's a close up so you can see how I mixed the colors
together with the swirls - I tried to use different shades
of purples, blues, & grey... After I was done I
used a stitch die to cut out my cardstock -
the final size is 3 1/4 x 4 1/2

This is my card completed - I Cut the Vellum with the Doily Die
because I wanted the swirls in the background to stand out --
It adds just enough to also make the mug Pop!

I cut a strip of grey Designer Paper and Stamped the sentiment
with Versamark ink then Heat Embossed it with some
Fine White Embossing powder - then I cut the ends
to give it that banner look - I also POPPED up my
Yummy Topping for just a little extra dimension -

I had SOOOO MUCH Fun Making this card!
I can't wait to mail it off to one of my Crafty Friends!

Thanks for stopping by today!

SumMore Fun - Mood Board Challenge #20

Hello & Happy Friday Everyone!
Today... starts another FUN Challenge over at:

 YAY! I know how you
guys enjoy a good Challenge!

Our Mood Board is - BIRTHDAYS

You can use the Mood Board or go by the Theme
or Use the color combo or Use all 3!!! You don't have to use
a stamp from SumMore Fun if you don't have one!

All the rules for this fun challenge are RIGHT HERE!

Here's what I created to inspire you --

I went with the THEME this time around!
I always have Birthday cards on hand because I make them
for the Staff at School! But sometimes you just forget
someone's Birthday and you still want to let them know
you are Thinking of them - so I made this card!

I used my Distress Oxides in Worn Lipstick, Abandoned Coral, &
Candied Apple - Blending them together on a strip of White Cardstock
Then used my Heat tool to make sure it was
completely dry before I started to Heat Emboss -

I pulled 2 Victorine Originals Stamps out -
CELEBRATE IN STYLE (60010-C)
REMEMBERED YOUR BIRTHDAY (60011-G)
and then stamped them with some versamark ink
in my Misti - I poured some WOW! Primary Ebony Embossing
powder on top and heat set it -

I then took a piece of White cardstock and used a
circle stitching pattern die to give it that neat embossed
circle design - Then I die cut a Stitched Scallop
border & attached it too my sentiment piece -
Then I adhered everything together - CAS

Of course, I did a little bit to the inside as well - Since I like to
tie everything together - I decided NOT to put a sentiment, since
this would be a "LATE" Birthday card - I thought a more personal
message was in order - The CUTE Gift wrapped stamp is also
from Victorine Originals -

I hope you guys can join us --
I would LOVE to see what you create!
