Elegant Wedding Wishes...

Hello & Happy Thursday Crafty Peeps!
I'm gonna make this post short & sweet! (I Hope)

I wanted to make another Fall type wedding card
So I grabbed a couple of items and made this --

This turned out so pretty & Elegant and only took a few minutes to make!
Yup! This was a FAST CARD!
I let the PAPER do ALL the work for me! :)
I'm using the 12 x 12 Paper Pad from Authentique (Bountiful)

I die cut out on the paper where the pretty leaves were
and left an area so I could heat emboss my sentiment -
Then I layered it onto a piece of mustard yellow designer paper
then added the Jute Twine, then attached it to some Fun Foam and
adhered it right onto my Dark Brown Card base.
I added some lovely fall colored sequins and it was complete!

Cardstock - Stampin' Up, Fun Foam
Jute Twine - PaperTrey Ink
Assorted Sequins - My Stash
Copper Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Embossing Buddy,
versamark Ink, Misti
Sentiment - Victorine Originals (Wedding Wishes)
Stitched Rectangle Frame Dies - My Creative Time

Thanks so much for stopping by!

SumMore Fun Mood Board Challenge #37

Hello & Happy Friday Everyone!
Today... starts another FUN Challenge over at:

Our Mood Board is -

You can use the theme, pictures, or color combo
 You don't have to use
a stamp from SumMore Fun if you don't have one!

All the rules for this fun challenge are RIGHT HERE!

Here's what I created to inspire you --

I went with the colors in the mood board again to create my card -
FALL Colors are my FAVORITE!!! EEK! I totally LOVE
how this card turned out -

I colored my Background with some Distress Oxides - Peeled Paint,
Fossilized Amber, Wild Honey, Carved Pumpkin, Ripe Persimmon,
Barn Door, & Aged Mahogany

Once Everything was blended and dried, I Stamped my Birch Tree
with versamark ink then poured fine gold embossing powder over it
then heat set it - I wanted a bold gold look so I repeated this process
one more time - Then I added some water droplets and placed
a towel over it to pick up some of the colors -
Then I used my favorite Stitched Rectangle die and cut it

down to size -

I wanted my background to shine - so I grabbed a piece
of vellum and stamped the sentiment on it with some
versamark ink and then poured ultra fine gold embossing
powder over it and heat set it - I die cut it out with a
long stitched rectangle die, then attached it from the
backside - I then placed it on a piece of tan fun foam

Then I took a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of cream cardstock and
placed scor tape around the edge to make a frame with adhesive
and then I grabbed some Rose Gold Foil and laid it on top of
the adhesive and rubbed it in - once I thought it was
rubbed in enough, I pulled the foil off to give it a nice
Rose gold layer under my card front image -
I then adhered it to a Dark Espresso Card base -

Silver & Gold...

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
Today's my day to take over the blog at:

I thought I would share a lovely Christmas card -

As most of you know... next to Fall, Christmas is my other FAVORITE
time of the year - I love how they both just flow into each other -
Makes me Very HAPPY!!! So today I thought I would try to
inspire you to get started making those holiday cards!

Look... mine are all done for this year - YES I'm a nut case...
BUT, when you think about ALL the other things you're trying to do
during the holidays, wouldn't it be nice to have your handmade
cards off that list? Early? even better! Just sayin' (Wink Wink)

This card was fairly easy to make - I started off with a
piece of White Cardstock (Neenah Solar White)
and I stamped my Ornament image front and center with
Brilliance Starlite Silver ink, then poured some
Ultra Fine Silver Embossing on top of it, then heat set it

I then took a pair of my Tim Holtz scissors and cut the center
out of my ornament - Since I had plans on turning this into
a shaker I wanted my sentiment on my card front
before I did anything else - So I did the same process
as the ornament - once that was done -
I grabbed a Wonky Stitch die and die cut my white
card front for that finished look -

Now I can complete my shaker - I found some pretty Christmas
paper in my stash that had silver & gold to it (Perfect)
and I grabbed a piece of Acetate and now I'm ready to
get the shaker part together - I adhered the acetate to the backside
of the white card front - then added Stampin' Up Dimensional
Stripes around the circle - Added an assortment of Silver
& Gold Sequins then added the Designer paper to seal it off

Flipped it over and started to shake, shake, shake! (Always so fun)

I then added some Fun Foam to the backside of my shaker
for an even look and dimension - Then I folded a White card base
in half (A2 Size) - 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Top Folding
Then I found a lovely piece of foil silver on white designer Paper
and thought that would look nice behind my shaker
so I cut it down to fit the front of my White Card base
and attached it with some adhesive

Then I grabbed the shaker that was on the fun foam
and attached it to my silver/white card base

Of course, it needed some final touches, so I adhered
some of the silver & gold sequins to the front of my card
and then made a double bow using some
Silver & Gold Elastic Cording I had -

And now another Holiday card ready to go in the mail!!!

Musical Birthday Wishes....

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
Today's my day to take over the blog at:

 I thought I would share a Birthday card -

I'm also entering the Challenge over at -
Seize the Birthday - RAINBOW

I went ALL Rainbow on you guys! LOL

I'm using my Distress Oxides inks - Candied Apple, Squeezed Lemonade,
Lucky Clover, Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch, & Wilted Violet

I started out by blending all my colors together on a piece of white cardstock
then letting it dry completely
Once it was dry I stamped the Music Background with some
versamark ink and poured some Ultra Fine White
Embossing powder over it and heat set it -
Then I die cut it out with a Stitched Postage Frame Die -

I die cut a Stitched Frame Die with some White Cardstock
Then I grabbed a piece of Vellum and stamped the
Happy Birthday Sentiment right onto it with
some black onyx versafine ink and poured some ultra
black embossing powder over it and heat set it -

I thought the Black Embossing on the vellum would stand out
a little better over my rainbow background -

I attached the vellum with some liquid glue behind the
Happy Birthday Sentiment (So it wouldn't show through) then
I wanted a sweet bow, so I grabbed some Berry Trendy Twine
and tied it on the lower portion of my Postage frame
I adhered it to my white piece then attached it to my black cardbase.
For a little extra bling I used some Rainbow Jewels from Lucy's Cards.

Elegant CAS card....

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
Today's my day to take over the blog at:

I thought I would share an Elegant CAS Thank you card!

I don't know about you - but sometimes you just need a
Quick card - Also an Elegant one at that!
Sometimes all you need is a Beautiful Stamped Sentiment and
some Beautiful papers to make it happen!!

That's where this card comes into play!!

I'm using the Thank You (2873-J) Stamp set

From Victorine Originals and some Beautiful
papers from DCWV (Lilac Love)

I started out by grabbing the pretty papers and deciding on the
stamp I planned to use - Then I grabbed a Stitched Scallop
border die and cut out enough room so
my large sentiment would fit nicely onto my card front

Knowing that my Designer paper had gold foil on it
I knew I wanted my sentiment to POP with gold as well
So I stamped my sentiment right onto the
paper with some versamark ink then
added my fine gold embossing powder

I carefully heated up my sentiment with my heat tool
only heating up small sections at a time
(I didn't want to warp) my Elegant paper with the heat

It came out PERFECTLY! I was so excited to
see the transformation of the gold embossing (Who Doesn't?)

After I let it cool for a minute I wanted to add a
Stitched Rectangle border around my design
for a nice finished off look
Then I added a piece of White Fun Foam
behind my card front and set it off to the side for a minute

While the card front was very pretty - my plain white
card base didn't do it justice -
So I decided to add foil to it!

I folded my Card front in half and
I adhered some Scor Tape all around the border
on the front of my card

Then I grabbed a piece of Gold Foil from
my stash and laid it right on top
of the adhesive - I used my Bone Folder
to rub the foil into the adhesive
(making sure it would stick)

Then peeled off my gold foil - to find
a beautiful gold foil frame!

Now that I was happy to have the foil frame
it was time to adhere the card front to my card base
and Voila My card Shimmers and shines with gold!!!

I added some gold sequins and a Prima
Flower I found in my stash!
