Ornamental Holidays...

Happy Thursday Everyone!!

I thought I would share another project I made
using the NEW Release of TANGLED TINSEL

You guys know how I LOVE making Christmas cards!
So, I had to make another Fun Christmas Card!!!

I did some Heat Embossing in White for the snowflakes and in Gold
for the bows and Bells - I really like how this turned out -

The Foliage is a Martha Stewart Punch I have, so I used
3 different shades of green to create it -
I colored the ornaments with my Stampin Blends Markers
I used a Wonky Stitch Die around my white border and
I popped the whole thing up on some Fun Foam
before adhering it to my Red Card Base -

I wanted to show you how I did the inside of my card as well -
Using the ornament stamp and then adding a lovely sentiment
I also added some foliage and a bell to it as well -
I can't wait to mail this off to someone!! :)

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a Fabulous Day!!

Ghostly Trick or Treat!

Hello & Happy Friday Everyone!!!
I wanted to share another FUN
Halloween card with you - I made this little
cutie with a FUN Raisin Boat Stamp set called
Boo Hoo - It's an adorable Halloween Stamp set!

So, I started off by stenciling the circle background with a
Dylusions Mini Stencil (Honeycomb) in assorted Distress Oxides
Then I die cut it out with a wonky stitch die -

Then I stamped the cute ghost on another piece of white cardstock
and did a masking technique to get him to hold the
pumpkin in his hand - then I cut it out with my
Brother Scan N Cut Machine - I colored my image with my
Stampin' Blends (SU) Markers

Then I die cut a black banner out and used white embossing
powder to make the sentiment POP!
I added dimensionals behind the ghost & Banner
Then added an assortment of Lucy's Cards Rainbow Jewels
Popped it up with some Fun Foam and adhered it to my
black card base!

I like how Fun and Whimsical this turned out!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
I hope you ALL have a FANTASTIC WEEKEND!!!

SumMore Fun Mood Board Challenge #37

Hello & Happy Friday Everyone!
Today... starts another FUN Challenge over at:

Our Mood Board is -

You can use the theme, pictures, or color combo
 You don't have to use
a stamp from SumMore Fun if you don't have one!

All the rules for this fun challenge are RIGHT HERE!

Here's what I created to inspire you --

I went with the colors in the mood board again to create my card -
FALL Colors are my FAVORITE!!! EEK! I totally LOVE
how this card turned out -

I colored my Background with some Distress Oxides - Peeled Paint,
Fossilized Amber, Wild Honey, Carved Pumpkin, Ripe Persimmon,
Barn Door, & Aged Mahogany

Once Everything was blended and dried, I Stamped my Birch Tree
with versamark ink then poured fine gold embossing powder over it
then heat set it - I wanted a bold gold look so I repeated this process
one more time - Then I added some water droplets and placed
a towel over it to pick up some of the colors -
Then I used my favorite Stitched Rectangle die and cut it

down to size -

I wanted my background to shine - so I grabbed a piece
of vellum and stamped the sentiment on it with some
versamark ink and then poured ultra fine gold embossing
powder over it and heat set it - I die cut it out with a
long stitched rectangle die, then attached it from the
backside - I then placed it on a piece of tan fun foam

Then I took a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of cream cardstock and
placed scor tape around the edge to make a frame with adhesive
and then I grabbed some Rose Gold Foil and laid it on top of
the adhesive and rubbed it in - once I thought it was
rubbed in enough, I pulled the foil off to give it a nice
Rose gold layer under my card front image -
I then adhered it to a Dark Espresso Card base -

Musical Birthday Wishes....

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
Today's my day to take over the blog at:

 I thought I would share a Birthday card -

I'm also entering the Challenge over at -
Seize the Birthday - RAINBOW

I went ALL Rainbow on you guys! LOL

I'm using my Distress Oxides inks - Candied Apple, Squeezed Lemonade,
Lucky Clover, Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch, & Wilted Violet

I started out by blending all my colors together on a piece of white cardstock
then letting it dry completely
Once it was dry I stamped the Music Background with some
versamark ink and poured some Ultra Fine White
Embossing powder over it and heat set it -
Then I die cut it out with a Stitched Postage Frame Die -

I die cut a Stitched Frame Die with some White Cardstock
Then I grabbed a piece of Vellum and stamped the
Happy Birthday Sentiment right onto it with
some black onyx versafine ink and poured some ultra
black embossing powder over it and heat set it -

I thought the Black Embossing on the vellum would stand out
a little better over my rainbow background -

I attached the vellum with some liquid glue behind the
Happy Birthday Sentiment (So it wouldn't show through) then
I wanted a sweet bow, so I grabbed some Berry Trendy Twine
and tied it on the lower portion of my Postage frame
I adhered it to my white piece then attached it to my black cardbase.
For a little extra bling I used some Rainbow Jewels from Lucy's Cards.

I heat embossed my Butterfly Heart with some Ultra
Fine White Embossing Powder on a piece of Tim Holtz
Watercolor paper. Then I took 3 Distress Oxide Inks in
Salty Ocean, Mermaid Lagoon, & Seedless Preserves
and blended them on a Clear block with some water -

Then I laid it on top of my watercolor paper and let

it sit for about 3 minutes (so I could get the vibrant colors.
I let it dry completely before running it thru my Gemini Machine
with the Rounded Corner Stitch Die. Then I grabbed the
Kindness Sentiment and a piece of Black Scrap CS.
and Heat Embossed that as well - I used my Lawn Fawn

SumMore Fun Mood Board Challenge #32

Hello & Happy Friday Everyone!
Today... starts another FUN Challenge over at:

Our Mood Board is -

You can use the theme, pictures, or color combo
 You don't have to use
a stamp from SumMore Fun if you don't have one!

All the rules for this fun challenge are RIGHT HERE!

Here's what I created to inspire you --

Even though we just Celebrated the 4th of July -
This Mood Board SCREAMS Patriotism --
It also SCREAMS SUMMER, & JULY -

So I grabbed my Raisin Boat Stamp set called
Strokes of Pride to create my card

I used my Misti and the stroke image stamp
and stamped the blue & red with
Distress Oxide Inks (Salty Ocean, Candied Apple)
Then I made sure to Heat set it so it would be
completely dry before I started Embossing --

I left my Misti out and positioned
all the words I was going to heat emboss in black
Once I thought everything looked good
I stamped them with some versamark ink
and then poured my Ultra Fine Black Embossing
powder over them - I let my heat tool get nice and
hot, then I heated up the black embossing -

I thought it looked so cool! I now needed to
downsize my card front piece, so I grabbed
a Stitched Rectangle die and die cut the
entire piece out - Then Grabbed a piece of
White Fun Foam to add to the back
side so it would POP up on my Blue Card Base

It was super quick to make and just has
so much meaning behind it! I already sent
it off in the mail and I hope the recipient liked it!

Here's another photo of my card - I was trying
to get a good shot so you could see the black Embossing
It really stands out on this card!!

Just a reminder that if you play along, the Random
winner wins a $20 Gift Certificate to the
SumMore Fun Stamps Store AND if you use a
SumMore Fun Stamp on your project
 you'll get a $40 Gift Certificate!!
