You are a Lifesaver...

Hello & Happy Monday Everyone!
How was your weekend? Did you craft? Bake?
Take a walk? Play games? Binge-watch TV?
All of the above? hahaha

ME? Well, I did take a nice 40-minute walk with my son -
No one was out, and it was like 74 degrees outside and
I was like... Ummm, yeah we need to take a walk -
We stayed in the center of the road and went up and down a few hills
It felt good to exercise and get some fresh air -
Then I cleaned my house! :) Did some Laundry and Baked 2 loaves of fresh bread -
I also caught up on some TV shows I like to watch and watched
a Disney Movie (Onward) :) - It was a nice relaxing weekend - :)

But I'm back to work today - Gotta finish up cleaning the school! :)

Last year I had gotten a really neat Digital Paper collection kit
from My Memories (Sailing) and I designed this card -

I finally put it together a couple of weeks ago and I LOVE the way it turned out!

Drink your coffee and..

Hello & Happy Wednesday Fellow Crafters!
Today is a special day - 💕💕
It's my 27th Wedding Anniversary!

My hubby & I have been through a lot over the years
and I'm so grateful that he still lights up when I talk to him
or hold his hand or just sit next to him... He is
a wonderful person and I'm happy that I get
to walk through life with him - for better or worse!

Anyway... moving on to less mushy stuff!!!

I made a fun card using some images from Polka Dot Orchard

I thought this sentiment was so FUN and I like that I made it into a
Fall themed card that I can mail off to a crafty friend!

I'm using Digital papers again from the Farmhouse Collection
by Connie Prince Designs

Have a Grab the Day by the Beans kind of Day!!!

Cards for Co-Workers....

Hello & Happy Friday Everyone!
We made it through the first week of school! Wahoo!

I'm so glad it's the weekend - I think I'm going to
pull out my Fall stuff this weekend and just chill -
I've been seeing the Start of Pumpkin Spice stuff
at the stores... I'm so excited!! Bring on FALL!!! LOL

You guys know I work at a school and I'm always making
cards for Birthdays & Thank You's - So here are a couple
of cards, I created using my Silhouette Program -

These turned out lovely and quick to make!
The Watercolor Floral Frame design is from the Silhouette Store (#294123)

I printed it out twice on a piece of 8 1/2 x 11 Neenah Solar White Cardstock
and sprayed it with some Acrylic Sealer Spray -
Then I used a Stitched Frame Die cut from MCT

I used Fun Foam for added Dimension on both cards -
Cardstock is from Stampin Up in Teal & Coral Pink
I grabbed a scrap of some DCWV Glitter CS to die cut a small
stitched heart - The Clear Gem is from Stampin' Up
I sprayed this card with some Sheer Shimmer Sparkle Spritz
and the Sentiment stamp is from SSS (Birthday Bits)

On this one, I added the Thanks Die (Cut 3x's) from MFT
The Sentiment is also from MFT (Kind Thanks)
I die cut a tiny stitched heart out of teal and added
a couple more clear adhesive gems

These will be perfect cards for work!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a FANTASTIC WEEKEND!!!

You're Fintastic!

Hello & Happy Wednesday Crafty Friends!
I have a super fun Card to show ya today!

I seem to be playing with Sharks & Bees
this month besides my Christmas cards!
What a crazy combo! hahahaha

I'm using the Digital Paper Collection called
(SHARK TANK)
and my trusty old Silhouette Program

How CUTE is this?? I love the purple shark!

I designed everything in my program, just dragging and dropping colors
here and there - I printed everything out on some
Bazzill White 12 x 12 cardstock - Then sprayed my sheet with
some Acrylic Spray then proceeded to let my Cameo
cut out all my pieces

I used a Stitched Rectangle Frame die from My Creative Time
The Sentiment is from Lawn Fawn (Fintastic Friends) and I
heat embossed it with clear embossing powder -

Here's a Screen Shot of my design and pieces before cutting it all out

Of course, I did the inside as well - I thought this might be fun to send
to a crafty friend!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a FIN-TASTIC DAY!!!

Happy Bee's....

Hello and Happy Thursday Crafty Peeps!
I was playing around in my Silhouette program
and made these super Fun Cards -

Aren't they cute??? I thought they turned out adorable!

I realized after I started taking the pictures that I forgot to
put a sentiment on the fronts! OOPS!!

Here's a close up of one of the cards -
I Popped up the sweet little bee's
Funny that I say "sweet" for bees! Real Bee's are NOT Sweet!
And I'm allergic to them! (Fun Fact) LOL

I'm using Digital Files for the bees (FlyPixel Studio)
And the Papers (Scrap de Yas)

The Clear Adhesive gems are from Stampin' Up & CTMH
I used Fun Foam to pop up the design on the Black Cardstock
And I added Some Clear Wink of Stella to all the black areas
on the little bees -

Here's a look at the inside of my cards - I added more cute bees
and I trimmed a strip of the DP to go along the bottom -
I used a stitched Rectangle frame die to add a little something as well

The Sentiment is a Digital Stamp set from Polka Dot Orchard
It's called Bee Hoppy

It's supposed to read "Hoppy Thoughts for my BEE-utiful Friend"

But I wanted it to say "HAPPY" instead, so all I did was
print out the original sentiment then I took my black
Micron pen and added a little line to the "O" and
BAM I made Hoppy into Happy!!!

Nice way to get a little more out of your Digital stamps!!

Thanks for stopping by!!
Have a Terrific Day!!

Jaw-Some

Hello and Happy Tuesday Crafty Peeps!
Do you have BIG plans for the 4th of July this week?
Going anywhere? or staying home and chillin'?

Me? I'll be staying home and probably crafting!
No fireworks... maybe some grilling & a salad or two
I'm a pretty simple gal, easy is always best for me! LOL

Recently I downloaded an Adorable Digital
Shark Tank kit and I had to make some cards
with it - So today I'm gonna show you
one of those Fun cards -

OMWORD... Isn't this just so fun??

I love that Sharks face!!! It makes me giggle!!

I started by using some Distress Oxides to create the background
While I let it dry completely I opened up my Silhouette Program
and pulled in the Digital Shark and seaweed, then I added the bubbles
in different sizes, then I added a yellow stitched frame

I got everything set up the way I wanted then put my Distress
Oxide paper through my printer -

I used a second sheet of white paper to print out the sharks
and seaweed then cut them out with my Cameo -

Everything was sprayed with some Acrylic Sealer

Then I added the Sentiment from (Lawn Fawn)
with versamark ink, and then I added some clear embossing
Powder over that and heat set it -
I put my card front through my big shot with the
Stitched Frame Die from (My Creative Time)
then added some fun foam to the back side before
placing it onto my White Card Base -

Of course, I had to share the inside of the card as well with you -
The sentiment was Digitally created in my Silhouette
and I used the Stitched Rectangle Frame die from (My Creative Time)
along with a little border and a smaller Shark with Seaweed -

This is going to be a fun card to mail out to someone!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a FABULOUS 4th of July!!!

Hello and Happy Wednesday Crafty Peeps!
Tomorrow is our Last day of School!
Can you believe it? I can't! I'll get a small break then
back to work I go, but this time without the little ones
running around! As you can imagine it's easier to keep
things clean while they're out for the Summer! LOL

I'm hoping to squeeze in a couple of breaks throughout
the Summer too if I can since I'm just cleaning classrooms this year!
Or at least that's my plan anyway!! (Wink Wink)

My Baby Hunter turned 16 a couple of weeks ago...
I can't believe he's 16 already! Where did the time go???

He also got his License! WHAT??
I'm so proud of that young man!
So I thought I would share the card I created
for his birthday - He really liked how it came out!

Perfect for that Gamer you know!
I'm using the awesome Echo Park Digital Collection called:

I wanted to show you the Clear Gloss I added to the controller -
I wanted it to stand out just a tad!
The Simple (HB2U) Stamp is from Craftin Desert Divas

I also thought you might like to see how I dressed up the inside of his card -
I can't remember which stamps I used for the inside -
But I like all the colors - :)
