Hello & Happy Friday Everyone!
I'm sooo glad it's the weekend!!!
It's a 3 day weekend on top of that!
Another week has worn me down!
Things have changed at work & I'm working
more hours - not that I mind of course -
I'm always happy to earn extra crafting money - 😁
But it's definitely been exhausting!
Do you guys have any plans for the weekend?
I think I'm gonna take Hunter Bowling -
We thought about making a trip to Vegas to
see my oldest son, but we're undecided at this point...
Well... I almost, almost didn't have time to make
my holiday card for ya! But I did it! YESSS!!!
For those of you who just started following me -
I made a Challenge to myself..... That I would make
(1) holiday card a week until the holidays roll around this year
I've actually been doing really well with keeping it going
& I'm enjoying it (bonusss) - 😍
So every week I try to post one of the holiday
cards I made and this week I almost didn't get time to make it -
Here's my close call Holiday card this week
I got a stash of new dies I have yet to use - So today's card was made
with one of them! YAY - I got this die off of Ebay and it
cuts out amazingly!!! I cut it out with DCWV Shimmer Gold Cardstock
3 x's for added dimension using Double sided adhesive
As you can tell, I also used some distress inks - Evergreen Bough,
Twisted Citron, & Mowed Lawn - I added some water drops, then lifted it up with a paper towel, then added some pretty Sheer Shimmer Spritz in Sparkle (This card really shimmers in the light) - Then I felt I needed to
add some Tarnished Brass Distress Spray stain as well - I think the background looks pretty cool....
Of course I couldn't let it go without adding some Glitter Nuvo Drops - Golden Sunset, Emerald City, & Sunlit Meadow
And some Bitty Sparkle gems from CTMH
-- Other Supplies Used on my card --
Watercolor Paper - Canson
Cardstock - Stampin' Up
Scalloped Stitched Card Mat Die - Gina Marie Designs
Round Ranger Blending tools, Big Shot
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
I hope you all have a FANTASTIC Weekend!!!
