SumMore Fun - Mood Board Challenge #25

Hello & Happy Friday Everyone!

Today... starts another FUN Challenge over at: 

SumMore Fun Stamps

 YAY! I know how you

guys enjoy a good Challenge!

Our Mood Board is - 

 You can use the theme, pictures, or color combo
 You don't have to use
a stamp from SumMore Fun if you don't have one!

All the rules for this fun challenge are RIGHT HERE!

Here's what I created to inspire you --

I went with some of the colors on the Mood Board --

I blended a couple of different shades
of orange & yellow Distress inks to give it that peachy color
Then I Stamped & Embossed my Beautiful Cross
I used a Stitched Rectangle die and cut out my image 
Then I placed it off to the side on my Kraft Cardbase
and cut a small portion off, to give it that offset look
Then I pulled out my white Gel Pen to give it that
Faux Stitch look around the border --

I found an Easter Stamp in my stash to use and I die cut
the Celebrate Word die out of Light green Cardstock
2x's for added dimension - Then I used my Wink of Stella
Pen on the word die, for some extra Sparkle and
added a couple of Clear Jewel Gems as well

 And now it's ready to be mailed off!!

Simple THANKS CAS Card....

Hello & Happy Tuesday Crafty Peeps!

Last week a co-worker asked me if I could

make her some Simple "THANK YOU" Cards.

And who am I to say no to that!! 😉

So I made about 4 of them that same

evening, all different and I thought I would

share one of them with you --

I had gotten the Big Thanks Word die

from My Favorite Things a while ago and

FINALLY got a chance to use it -

Super Simple and easy to do and the Co-Worker was thrilled with this one!

I even have a bunch of leftover colored letters, so I can actually

make several more of this same card!

The only part that took some time was 

die cutting the word out 7 times in all those

colors and in white - Luckily I used some

Stick it adhesive behind everything, which made adhering

the letters in the space so much easier!

I heat embossed the stamped sentiment with some

Fine White Embossing powder from SSS -

The Sentiment itself is from Craftin Desert Diva's

The Banner die is from MFT

The Stitched Rectangle is from My Creative Time

The Jewels are from Lucy's Cards

Assorted Cardstock - Stampin' Up, Recollections 110lb. White & Black

Big Shot, Heat Tool, Misti, Versamark Ink, Embossing Buddy, Fun Foam

Big Clucking DEAL!

Hello & Happy Monday crafty friends!

Today's post will be quick and easy -

I'm playing along with the challenge over at

JADED BLOSSOM

March's challenge is EMBOSSING

Here's what I created  to play along--

I'm using the ADORABLE HEY CHICKIE Stamp Set &

the CARD LAYERS DIE 1 Set - from Jaded Blossom

The Designer Paper is Doodlebug (Sunkissed)

I wanted to get a close-up so you can see my HEAT EMBOSSING on

the Sentiment - I colored the cute chickies with my Stampin' Blends pens

and used my Black glaze gelly roll pen on the eyes.

Other Products used -

Cardstock - Recollections 110 lb. White, Georgia Pacific, 

Spectrum Noir Ultra

Stitched Circle Die - SSS

Ultra-fine Black Embossing Powder - SSS

Misti Tool, Big Shot, Scan N cut, Heat Tool, Embossing Buddy, Fun Foam

This Challenge is only until the end of the month - so if you

Just Because Bunny.....

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
I have a quick post for ya today!

 I'm sharing a Sweet Just Because Bunny Card

I haven't made a FLIP CARD in a looong time! So I thought

WHY NOT Today?  

I'm using the Sizzix Gift Card Flip it's Die set for my card design

and some Echo Park (Spring) collection paper

My sweet bunny is from Victorine Originals along with 

my Sentiment Stamp

I Stamped my bunny on some Watercolor paper

and colored him up with my Arteza Watercolor pens

Then Die cut him out with my Brother Scan N Cut Machine

I Die Cut a Stitched Oval shape out of pink paper and

placed it behind my bunny

Then I stamped my Sentiment on some Blue Paper

and die cut it out with a banner die I have

I wanted my bunny to sparkle, so I used my

clear wink of Stella pen and then added a couple

of Ice Cube Jewels for a final touch

Here's what the Flipped inside looks like

I added the You're some 'bunny' special

 sentiment to send a sweet message to a friend!

Saa-Weet Christmas

Hello & Happy Wednesday Crafty Friends!

I have my weekly Christmas card ready to go!

It was so quick & easy to make too! I just LOVE

it when that happens!

Isn't it a SAA---WEET card? Boy do I LOVE me some

Doodlebug!! How bout' you?? Are you guys Doodlebug Fans?

The CUTE doggie is from the Odds & Ends (Milk & Cookies

Collection) I just Popped him up with some dimensionals

The Designer Paper is from the (Milk & Cookies Collection

and the Dot Grid Daisy Stripe) Both 6x6 pads

The Rectangle Stitched die is from My Creative Time

The Long Stitched Rectangle Die & the Rounded

Corner Stitched die are from my stash

The tiny Heart Punch is from American Crafts

I used some Clear Wink of Stella on the hearts

and I used Black, White, & Clear Gelly Roll Glaze pens

on the eyes, nose, hat & collar

The White Cardbase is Recollections 110lb and

I used some white fun foam to Pop up the rounded

rectangle shape --

I tried to get a good shot of the Gelly Roll Glaze pens on the dog -

It really does make the Eyes, Nose, Hat, collar & Dots

stand out when you see it in person... Kind of makes a 

nice touch to a simple card --

Shell-Ebrating YOU

Hello and Happy Monday Crafty Friends!

How have you guys been??? As you know

I was on Spring Break all last week and I

had plans to stay home and craft! Well...

That just NEVER happened! We ended up

running around every day last week... Finally,

 on Sunday, I was able to sleep in and just rest

after a crazy busy week. So now I'm trying to

play blogger catch up with all of you --

I'm hoping for Easter break in about

a week and a 1/2 that I'll be able to stay home

and maybe get some crafting done --

That is my goal... so we shall see!

In the meantime, I did have fun, Vegas

was a blast for the Hubby & myself

we got to visit with Family & friends

we hadn't seen in awhile and I got to

eat at Giordano's (my FAVORITE) Chicago

Pizza place! I knew they had one Downtown

 and we've eaten there... But going Downtown

was not something we wanted to do again...

We lived in Las Vegas so downtown is more

for the tourist which we are not! So...

While out and about getting ready to grab Brunch with

our oldest son I noticed they had opened a NEW

Giordano's Pizza off of Charleston & Rampart

I was screaming with excitement and my hubby

was totally on board with us eating there

for his Birthday Dinner... We met up with one of my

Good close friends and enjoyed the BEST PIZZA

in the world!! - Which made for an Excellent

Birthday weekend!! 

We'll be heading back to Vegas in April

for his Dr. appt and trust me when I say

Giordano's will be at the top of our list

for eating Lunch or dinner while we're there!

Anywho... Enough about my crazy week -

I do have a card to share - I made it about 2 weeks

ago and thought you might like to see it --

Here's what I created to inspire you --

Isn't this just darling???

I went with the colors, bunny image & eggs

in the mood board --

I'm using the Bunny with Egg Stamp from

Victorine Originals and Doodlebug Papers

I added some Rainbow Mixed Jewels as well

I stamped my bunny on some Pink Doodlebug paper

and cut it out with my Scan in cut Machine

Then I stamped another bunny out with some

Polka Dot Doodlebug Paper and Fussy cut the

Egg and the tiny feet circles ---

As you know, I like to decorate the inside just a tad -

So I stamped the (You're some "bunny" special) sentiment

from a Victorine Originals Stamp and I had some

Small Bunny Dies and thought they would be perfect

for the inside of my card along with a strip of

Doodlebug paper --
