Holiday Ginger...

Hello & Happy Friday Everyone!
YAY! The weekend has come back around again!
And tomorrow is National Card Making Day!
Do you guys have plans to work on your holiday cards???
Mine are done for this year... I might get a head start on next years
We shall see, I still have lots of things going on while
my son is still home, so I don't know from Day to day anymore!

Since tomorrow is the Kick off to the Holiday card-making season
I thought I would share a Fun, Quick Christmas card I made
using some leftover pieces in my doodlebug stash!

How CUTE is this guy???
This really only took me about 5 minutes to put together
Maybe 10 minutes tops!

I had the stitched circle paper, heart piece, sentiment strip,
oval rectangle, & gingerbread man - all extras in my
Doodlebug stash from other projects - so I only had to
cut out the gingerbread background paper with a
Stitched rectangle frame die - Placed in on some
Fun Foam and then added the other pieces ...
I added the blue holiday sticker last minute and called it done!

I like how easy, fun and simple this turned out to be!

I hope you all have a very CRAFTY WEEKEND!!!

Trendy Twine - Twizzler Treats!!

Hello and Happy Wednesday Crafty Friends!
I'm back as the Guest Designer for Trendy Twine!

I'm sharing a Super Quick treat for some Co-Workers -

With Summer in full swing, I LOVE anything with Orange in it -
Especially Orange Cream Pops! And Twizzlers has this YUMMY
one called Twizzlers Filled Twists Orange Cream Pop -
And it is too die for!! My son and I eat up the whole bag ALL the time!
So I thought I would share some with some of my co-workers!

So for this first treat, I made a simple topper using a Stitched Rectangle die.
I folded it in half and stapled it to the Medium Candy Bag! Then I wrapped
some Orange Limeade Trendy Twine around it and added a tag.
I also added some Nuvo drops to the topper.

I flipped the tag over so you could see that I stamped a Sweet Sentiment
on the back side. I'm using the Super cute stamp set
called Choose Happy. It's a 4x6 Stamp set with lots of
Fun sentiments on it!

For this treat bag, I decided to wrap the paper around the center
of the bag. I added another Cute Popsicle tag in bright colors.
The Popsicle SVG file is from the Silhouette Store.
It's file (#268643) in case you want to get it. It's not
a tag file, it's a regular size file that I shrunk down to make a tag!

Here is the other side of this tag - I'm using the same
CUTE Choose Happy Stamp Set. My Co-Workers LOVED
the treats and now want more! HAHAHA
I told them they would LOVE these Twizzlers! 😀

4th of July Wooden Star..

Hello & Happy Monday Everyone!
We got a BIG Holiday coming up!
The 4th of July is always so fun with
Barbeques and Fireworks - Friends & Family!
Great time to Celebrate our Freedom & Independence!

With that comes Decorating!! Who likes to decorate??
MEEE!!! I Dooo, I Doooo!!! LOL
I love decorating my house for the holidays/seasons
It just makes me HAPPY!!!

So here's a super quick project I created -

My FAVORITE Local wood store has closed (Inserting Sad Face)
But not before I went down there to buy a bunch of different things -
Of course by the time I got there (Less than 24hrs. after they announced it)
They were sold out on almost everything!! I'm so BUMMED!!!

I guess I'll have to order my wood pieces online now... UGH!

Anywho... I got this simply cute Star design from them and
painted it up right away with Dark Navy blue
Then I Mod Podged over the Blue and added
some Sparkly blue Glitter! Then I reapplied more
Mod Podge, so the Glitter wouldn't fall off!

Then I grabbed a Scrap piece of some Doodlebug paper
Traced out the little star shape, cut it out and adhered that
piece on with Mod Podge then sanded it down
before attaching it with some wood glue -

Then it was time to dress it up! So I grabbed my White
Tulle and glued it in place (I was going for a POP type of Look)
Like from fireworks... :) Then I Made a Double Bow
And stuck it on my shelf! LOL

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a Fantastic Day!!!

You Did it Bubbles...

Hey There Crafty Friends! Happy Monday to ya!!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!!!

I have a WINNER from Saturday's Blog Hop to announce
and a Graduation Card to share with you today!

Okay... So these cards were inspired by a design image I saw on the
Doodlebug Website and the Christmas cards I made using a
Flat Back - Which I got from Jennifer McGuire Last year...
Now.. Say that 10 times fast! HAHAHA

These cards have what I call FLAT BACKS - Which means the
cards are smaller and are attached to the larger Flat Card Base...
Does that make any sense???
Don't worry the next picture should help you out!! LOL

See how my card opens?
It's a smaller card size (3 3/4 x 5) and it's adhered
to a standard Flat piece of Cardstock (4 1/4 x 5 1/2)
It will fit inside a regular A2 size envelope...

So I created the image in my Silhouette Program
after seeing the design on the Doodlebug website -
I thought it was so cute and perfect as a graduation
Card front - I had to do some alterations to the
SVG file to get it looking like it does -

But I honestly love the way it turned out - I die cut the
Grad cap in Red & Black for the 2 different cards
and you can see how I did up the inside as well

The Black & White Cardstock is Recollections
Silver Cardstock is Neenah
Red Cardstock is Stampin Up
Designer Paper is Doodlebug & the dots paper
is a file I found in my Silhouette Program which
I printed out on some Bazzill White Cardstock then
sprayed with my Acrylic Sealer before cutting them out
on my Cameo Machine
Stitched Rectangle Die - My Creative Time

And the Winner of Georgiana's Anniversary Blog hop is

LARELYN!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Email me your address so I can get that
stamp set in the mail to ya!!!
(My e-mail address is on my blog under my picture)
I leave town this week so please email me asap
if you want your prize mailed before I go!! :)

Have a Wonderful DAY!!

Carson's Creations Blog Hop!!!

Today we are celebrating 8 years that Carson's Creations has been sharing.
I remember when I first started so many years ago...
I was a bit clueless, but the crafty world invited me in and
I have since made many lasting friendships over the years.
We have shared ideas, chatted about techniques,
planned blog hops together, been on the same design teams,
and appreciated each other's talents and creativity while admiring across the miles.

There are 8 stops and you won't want to miss any of them!
If you are here from Janis' Blog then you are in the right place.
If you just happened onto my blog today and would like to join us,
then start at Carson's Creations ~ Georgiana's blog
There is also a complete line-up at the end of this post just in case you need it.

What would a hop be without Blog Candy?!?!

Since this is a celebration, each blog has a bit of candy
that is randomly being given away. Yay for candy!

Here is how:

Be sure to be a FOLLOWER and COMMENT on each blog.
If you are a follower, your comment could be randomly
drawn to win some fantastic prizes.

Here is my project:

Georgiana asked us to create something to CELEBRATE!
So, I'm Celebrating SUMMER! At least where I'm at its Summer outside!
We are in the high 90's to low 100 degrees already! :)

I made this FUN Wood project to sit on my shelf -

The entire wood project was plain -  so I used an
assortment of Acrylic paints to paint the Sun, letters, &
wooden plank - Then I added glitter to some pieces and
Doodlebug Papers to other pieces - The word Sunshine is
a vinyl piece - and for bells and whistles I used some
adhesive gems, and ribbons...

It's so bright and cheery on my shelf!!!

Here's what I'm giving away:

This Stamp set has lots of great images for any crafter to use!

Remember to win, you need to be a follower of my
blog and leave a comment! You have until
Sunday night, June 3rd at 9:00 pm EST to hop along with us!
All winners will be announced on Monday, June 4th on each individual blog.
The winners will also be posted
on Carson's Creation Facebook page after all the winner's
posts go live on each blog.

Here is the Blog Hop Line-up...

Hexagon Santa --

Hello & Happy Tuesday Crafty Friends!!!
I'm back with my other Hexagon Christmas card today!

I gotta say I LOVE how this one turned out too!!
Don't you guys love it when you make a project
and it turned out just the way you want or even better???

I know I do! I get all giddy like a little kid!! hahahaha

Isn't it CUTE??? I think having the assorted
Doodlebug paper makes it FUN!

So, I used my stitched hexagon die to die cut out little
scraps of the doodlebug paper and placed them
on my White card front - Then I took my
Stitched Rectangle die to trim it down and give it that
clean look - I then pulled out that adorable
Santa sitting in the chair from the (Milk & Cookies)
Odds & Ends package and POPPED him right
on there - then added the Merry Christmas Sentiment -

I didn't want to add to much more to this card because of
all the fun papers, but I did pull out my
Black Glaze Gelly Roll pen and added dots to Santa's
eyes, then used it on his gloves, belt and boots
In person you can see the glaze and gives it that extra
touch the card needed!

Another one down for this year!! YES!!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a FABULOUS DAY!!
