Christmas Wishes Hexagon...

Hello and Happy Wednesday Crafty Friends!
I've got my weekly Christmas card to share with you

I gotta tell ya... I'm so happy with how it turned out! EEK!

I've been wanting to make a hexagon card for awhile now
and I finally made one over the weekend - CORRECTION --
I made 2 of them!! And they're both different!!!
So I'm sharing this one this week and I'll share the
other one next week - I love them both -
The only time consuming part was die cutting ALL
those hexagons out - I only have 1 small stitched hexagon
die, so putting it through the Big Shot several times
with all the little Scrap Doodlebug paper was probably
the hardest part - LOL

I die cut about 20 of them for the 2 cards and then
having to decide which direction I wanted them to go -
So this card is a Top Folding card and the other
card is landscape - :)

Anywho - After I placed my hexagons where I
wanted them I adhered them down on the white card
front then grabbed my Stitched Rectangle die to
make the card front nice and clean
Then I didn't want to add to much to the card
because of all the fun papers, so I just pulled out
a Simple Christmas Stamp and then grabbed my
Pink and Main Wishes die and cut it out 3x's
for the dimension - Placed it where I felt
it would look best... then added some Lucy's Cards
Rainbow jewels just to finish it off!!!

And now another one bites the dust!!!
That's right you'll be singing that song ALL DAY LONG!!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a Fabulous Day!!!

Last Valentine's Day Card....

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
Today's my day to take over the blog at:
YAY for me... 🙌

Today I thought I would share my last Valentine's Day Card -

Valentine's Day was Yesterday and I hadn't had a chance
to share the card I made for a friend of mine --

I die cut my Heart Circle die twice, so I could
mix and match the design together - Then I adhered them
on top of a White 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card front -
Then I used a Stitched Rectangle Die to give my card
a nice border

I attached my Card front to some Fun Foam, then attached it
to my Pink Cardbase --

My Dotted Heart Stamp & Sentiment Stamp are Heat Embossed with
some Fine Silver Embossing powder
I used my Clear Wink of Stella Pen to add some
Glitter to all the pink hearts, then added a couple
of Clear Ice Cube Jewels for a final Touch!

I'm using the Playing Cupid (9059-Z) Stamp Set

This set is Perfect for so many
occasions besides Valentine's Day -
I just love it!

Celebrate Brightly...

Hello & Happy Tuesday Everyone!
How was your Weekend? Did you get 3 days off?
I did, so it was nice to get a bunch of stuff done
I'm still working on re-organizing my Dies and placing
them on Magnetic sheets - I'm almost done! So YAY for that!

I thought I would share my Next set of
Christmas cards with you --

There should have been only 2 cards - but for some reason
when I went to print the first set of 2 - one did not
print correctly - So I had to re-print them and I'm NOT
one for wasting space - So I just went ahead and printed out
2 more of the same design - So then I had 3 cards to make! :)

The image is from the Silhouette Store (MOD WREATH) #22994
and I got it when Silhouette was having their 50¢ Christmas Sale.

I used the Gina Marie Wonky Stitch Die to cut out
my Wreath image on these 2 cards - And the cardbase is
Melon Mambo from Stampin' Up -- I sprayed my images with some
Acrylic Sealer, before adding on some Clear Wink of Stella to the
bows and pink dots --
I attached the Wreath Image to some white Fun Foam then
attached them to my cardbase - I die cut the word
Celebrate (MFT) 4x's (2 for each card) and layered them
on top of each other, before placing on my card --
Then I stamped "This Christmas" from Hero Arts in the lower
portion of the card ---
I also added some Ice Cube Jewels from Lucy's Cards
to give it a little extra Sparkle!

Since this one was my extra card - I wanted it to be a little bit different
So I die cut the Wreath Image out with a Scalloped Stitch Die
I used White Cardstock as my base, then I added a piece of Melon
Mambo, then I layered my image on top of that with some Fun Foam
I die cut the Celebrate word out 2x's for this one as well and
added the Same Sentiment as before -- I also sprayed
this with some Acrylic Sealer before using my Wink of Stella pen
and of course I added some Ice Cube Jewels too --

I really like all 3 cards - They are very different than my
"Normal" Christmas cards - The Bright Pink and Greens
just make this Happy & Fun!
Looks like 3 more cards completed in my collection!!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a FABULOUS Day!!

Joy, Joy, Joy....

Hello and Happy Wednesday Crafty Friends!
Last year I challenged myself to make 1
Christmas Card a week - until Mid. Oct - 1st of Nov.
Well, I did manage to get all my holiday cards
done and I labeled all the envelopes & had
them all stamped by Dec. 1st! YUP! It worked for me --

So this year I will continue with this same process -
the only thing is - I've already got 19 cards done! Say WHAT?

Well, since I finished all of mine early enough I still
had Design Team projects that needed to be made
for the holidays... so that got me a jump start on my
2018 Christmas cards! How crazy is that??

I'm so happy I did it though - it made me realize
how stressful making your own cards can be during the holidays
and knowing that I'm doing them weekly throughout the year
really does add LESS STRESS!

So, today's cards (Yes more than 1) was
actually made the end of Nov.
I found the image in the Silhouette Store
and then these quick cards came out of it --

Check them out --

I got 2 Regular cards and 1 Gift Card made -

Here's my Simple Gift Card Holder -- This was actually a mistake when I was doing
the sizing in my Silhouette Program - Of course NOW it's a good mistake! LOL
The JOY image is (#230500) and the Scallop Card Shape is (#25782)
I went to cut the Scallop Card shape out and realized it was
NOT the size I wanted - but then I realized it could
totally work for a Gift card design and that's how this one came about!

Here's the inside of my holder --
I used the Jaded Blossom (Scallop Slider & Topper Die) to
make the slits for a gift card to sit inside of this

This was the actual size I was looking for when deciding to make the JOY Image
into a card - I had to enlarge everything before getting it to cut the size I wanted --
This actually opens just like the gift card, but on a Flat Card Base

I really like the fun way it opens and how I brought the JOY
inside the card as well -- I tried to find papers that matched
the Fun colors -- The inside sentiment is from
My Craft Spot (which is no longer in business)

This is the last Joy Card I made - Simple and easy to mass produce
if needed - But I'll  probably just stick with the ones I already made --
I added Clear Wink of Stella to the J, Y, Carrot Nose, & Ear Muffs on
ALL 3 projects - Before I did though - As I have an Inkjet Printer
I spray my paper with some Acrylic Sealer first and let Dry Completely
before adding any sparkle - otherwise, my images would fade out
when adding the wink of Stella on them - Just an FYI for you

I used Ice Cube Jewels from Lucy's Cards on all 3 projects

Other Products Used --

Cardstock - Recollections 110lb., Stampin' Up, Bazzill, Fun Foam
Designer Paper - MME & DCWV
Stitched Rectangle Die - MFT
Stitched Scallop Die & Smaller Rectangle die - Craftin' Desert Divas
Big Shot, Misti Tool, Canon Pro 9000 Printer, Cameo  3

Have a FABULOUS DAY!!
