Penguin Xmas...

Hello & Happy Tuesday Crafty friends!

We are Midway thru July already

and I've seen lots of Christmas in July designs and sales! 

So, I guess I better share another

Christmas in July Holiday card with you!!

I'm using 2 Digi Sets from Polka Dot Orchard today!

Magic of Christmas

Penguin Love

Check out my Sweet card --

Isn't he the cutest?? I ADORE Penguins, so I thought why not

use the Santa Hat from the one Digi Set and place it

on that sweet penguin's head from the other digi set!

The Hat & Penguin were colored with my Stampin' Blends markers

The DP is from Photoplay (Here comes Santa) 6x6 pad

The sentiment was printed on some Neenah solar white

cardstock and die cut out with a Stitched Rectangle die

I made a triple bow with some Candy Cane Trendy Twine

and added a tiny little silver bell (Oriental Trading)

Dies that were used - Stitched Square die (Lawn Fawn)

Stitched Scallop Border die, Stitched Oval die, & 

Stitched Rectangle Fram die -MCT

Of course, the inside is dressed up as well -

The Stitched Banner die & Scallop border are from MCT

I think this turned out really cute and can't wait to mail it off to someone!

Jingle Bell Rock....

Hello & Happy Friday Crafty Friends!!!

The weekend is here and that means I get

to Start my Spring Break Vacation!! Yipee!!!

We are heading to Vegas today to celebrate 

my Hubby's Birthday - 

He turns the big 5 - 0 tomorrow!!

I have plans to get some balloons that

say Over the Hill and maybe get some 

Black flowers too!!! I've done this for my family

when they've all hit that milestone! It's just

plain old FUN for us! :)

We're only staying the weekend, so I'll

be home all next week crafting (I Hope)

Maybe get some Spring Cleaning done???

Nawww... that's just CRAZY talk right there!! LOL

Anywho... I just wanted to share my

Christmas card with you-

The foil background I made last year when I tried

foiling for the first time (Gina K. Designs) - and the penguin trio

is from Lawn Fawn which I also colored last year

 The Penguins (Here we go A-waddling) are colored on some

Tim Holtz watercolor paper using my Zig Real Brush Pens

They were die cut out with my Scan N Cut Machine

I added some dots to the scarf, hat, & Earmuffs with

a White Gel Pen

The Rectangle Stitched Die and Happy Holiday

Circle die are both from My Favorite Things

And the Stitched Bracket die in vellum 

is from KasierKrafts

I used some Fun Foam to pop up the

Foil rectangle and added some

Ice Cube Jewels from Lucy's Cards to finish it off!

I thought it turned out pretty cute!

The inside has the sentiment from the same 

Lawn Fawn Stamp set and it says

Hope your Christmas (Jingle Bell) Rocks!

Simply FUN!

We are Mid-Week already! YAY 

AND

It's the last day of February!!! WWHHHAT???

SERIOUSLY?? What Happen to February??

I swear it just began last week!!! I guess that means

SPRING

is on the Horizon already!!! YESSS!! My 2nd

Favorite Season EVVAAHHH!!!

Even though I'm thinking of Spring...

I made my weekly Christmas Card to share!

I gotta tell ya... I had soooo much fun making

that background that I HAD to make

another background and made a different card with it -

I'll show you that one next week!

Okay... The dotted background was made with

a Heidi Swapp Stencil and 2 Distress Oxides

in Twisted Citron & Lucky Clover

The Designer Paper is from Doodlebug

Cardstock is Papertrey Ink Black, Recollections 110lb. 

White, Georgia Pacific, Tim Holtz Watercolor paper

My sweet Penguin & Sentiment are from

Pretty Cute Stamps (Cool Chick set)

Colored with my Zig Real Brush watercolor pens

and some Clear Wink of Stella

The Stitched Rectangle Die & Stitched Banner die

are both from My Favorite Things

My Stitched Circle Die is from Simon Says Stamp

Dare 2B Artzy Guest Designer Week #2

Hello & Happy Sunday Crafty Friends!

I'm back as Guest Designer for

Dare 2B Artzy during the month of January!

I'm just so Excited to be their Guest Designer

and I'm totally Lovin this Super CUTE

Cup of Cheer Stamp Set

Check out what I created with it this week --

I started out by stamping the Cup & Topping images on some

Tim Holtz Water Color paper, using my Misti Tool &

some Versafine Onyx Black ink

Then I pulled out My Zig Real Brush Pens to

color up my images - I also Pulled out my

White & Clear Wink of Stella Pens to color the

Topping images - I thought they should sparkle! 

Once I got the mugs colored I thought it was time to 

pick some matching Papers & Dies --

I pulled out some Doodlebug Paper and a piece of Vellum

Then I added a couple of Rectangle Stitched dies & a Doily die

 I decided I wanted to use a stencil & make my own background - 

So I pulled this adhesive back dotted swirl stencil from my stash and 

grabbed some Distress Inks to match up with my mugs --

I did some masking off since I didn't want the colors

all over my white cardstock piece --

Here's a close up so you can see how I mixed the colors

together with the swirls - I tried to use different shades

of purples, blues, & grey... After I was done I

used a stitch die to cut out my cardstock - 

the final size is 3 1/4 x 4 1/2

This is my card completed - I Cut the Vellum with the Doily Die

because I wanted the swirls in the background to stand out --

It adds just enough to also make the mug Pop!

I cut a strip of grey Designer Paper and Stamped the sentiment 

with Versamark ink then Heat Embossed it with some 

Fine White Embossing powder - then I cut the ends

to give it that banner look - I also POPPED up my

Yummy Topping for just a little extra dimension - 

I had SOOOO MUCH Fun Making this card!

I can't wait to mail it off to one of my Crafty Friends!

 so it was fun to put this little one together -

I'm using Doodlebug DP

I stamped the face with a Peachy Keen Stamp

(Happy Penguin Couples Faces)

The Stitched Rectangle & Banner Die are from MFTStamps

The Small Stitched Rectangle Die is from Craftin Desert Divas

The Stitched Scallop Border Die is from My Creative Time

and the Stitched Circle Die is from Simon Says Stamp

The Small Stitched Heart dies are from Ebay

The sentiment was from My Craft Spot (No longer in business)
