Enjoy your Special day Butterfly...

Hello & Happy Friday Crafty Friends!

I've been busy with work all week

and haven't had time to post anything -

I've also purchased a couple of new things

I've been wanting - (NOT Craft related)

and have been learning how to use them -

I also have some Home Decor projects in the works

so yeah... I've been busy doing things! 😃

Last night I sat down in my craft room and

made a Lovely Birthday card for another

teacher at school - You'd think I'd have a good

stash by now... but NOPE! There is ALWAYS

someone in need of a Birthday card at school! 😃

Here's what I made!

I pulled out some Distress inks for this card - I'm using Evergreen Bough,

Cracked Pistachio, & Shaded Lilac

After coloring up the card front, I pulled out my Misti and

stamped the Beautiful Butterflies (Butterfly 1595-C) from

Victorine Originals - Then I used my Sheer Shimmer Sparkle

Spray (no surprise since it's my favorite) - Then added some

water drops and lifted it off with a towel.

 I used my Heat tool to dry it - 

I then put it through my Big Shot using 

the Stitched Rectangle Die from My Favorite Things

I think it adds such a nice border around the card front....

After that was complete I found a great (Celebrate) word die

from My Creative Time (Cutting it out 3x's) for dimension

Then used the "Enjoy your Special Day" sentiment from

My Favorite Things (Birthday Greetings set) and Heat

embossed it with WOW! Ebony embossing powder on

a strip of vellum - Wrapped it around my card front

and added a piece of Fun Foam to the backside

to POP up my card front on the Purple Card base

I decided to add some Clear Wink of Stella to the "Celebrate"

word die just to tie in with the rest of the sparkle on my card!

And Added some Rainbow Sparkle Jewels & Ice Cube

Jewels from Lucy's Cards with some glossy accents

I really like how pretty the colors blended together and the

butterflies are just lovely - I'm sure the Teacher receiving this

will think the same thing... 😉
