Hello and Happy Monday everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend...

I know I did! :o) I went to the In-laws...

We actually went to surprise them! And BOY

were they surprised! :o) My MIL is ill and

has been for awhile now.... I wanted them

to come for Thanksgiving because she

doesn't get out much anymore... She was happy

to be here and I was thrilled that she could come...

But after the Thanksgiving visit she got sick yet again...

And I wanted to do something nice for her and go see her

before Christmas... I planned everything with the hubby...

She had been wanting to try my Lasagna for awhile but

since she's been sick so long it just never worked out...

Soooo.... my plan involved making my Lasagna and my

homemade fudge (that she's never had either) and bring it

to them as my gift... Well besides the gift we already

had gotten them..... Any who... They were excited to

see us and they could not believe I did all of that for them....

Sooo we spent the afternoon down in CO. were they live and

enjoyed our time with them.... My MIL has to go in

on the 20th for Surgery..... So, it was the perfect time to

come and see them.... She tried my fudge and

LOVE it! and they were getting ready to cook the Lasagna

when Hubby and I had to leave to go get some shopping done

before our long drive back home... :o) I'm just glad to help

put a smile on her face when I can.... She is a wonderful

Person and I'm sooo lucky to be apart of their family!

OK... Enough with the mushy stuff! :o)

Holiday Gifts for Friends/Neighbors...

Hello and Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Well I managed to finish my project!!!

YEAHHHH!!! Soooo now I'm trying to get my

Christmas Cards done.... Started on them last

night sooo if I work really hard and fast... I should

have them done by Friday.... Well maybe before Friday

cause I gotta make a Lasagna and wrap a gift and make

some fudge to take to the In-Laws this weekend.... So I guess

I'll be working in Hyper speed... :o) But today... I want to show

you what I made for my neighbors and friends... :o)

OK.. Now I Know what you're thinking...

Your Thinking... THERESA we seen these Ornaments

YESTERDAY!! Well... Yes you sort of did...

But these Ornaments are the Larger ones...

They are 3 1/4" Ornaments and I used

my Stampin' Up Re-Inkers to color these babies!

And MAN these are a much deeper color than the

ones used with the Pledge Cleaner... :o)

These are also the Large 3 1/4" Ornaments... but I used the Pledge

on these.... Can you see the difference between the colors... :o)

They are both BEAUTIFUL... but I'm sort of partial to

the ones that I made with the Re-inkers.... I think I

like the deeper colors more.... But... they needed to

be packaged in something you ask... Oh yes...

I asked her if I could use it and she was soooo

The boxes cut out soooo quick which saved me a lot

of time... :o) I decided to make the tops with

transparency sheets.... they cut out great too....

I just had to use my bone folder a few times

over the scoring areas... but other than that it was

EASY PEASY!!!! :o)

Sooo Of course I needed to add a little

something to them.... since I couldn't get the

etching to show up better... Soooo I went the Vinyl Route...

I used my Cartridge "When it's Cold Outside" and cut

the snow flakes out at 2"... The vinyl is all

from http://www.expressionsvinyl.com/ 

I love that they offer the Gold, Silver and Copper in Metallic...

It just helps make the project pretty! :o) Their

prices are also AWESOME for Vinyl... :o)

Now these boxes I Made using my wonderful

Cartridge "TAGS, BAGS, BOXES and MORE"...

I cut these boxes out at 9 1/4".... These were designed

for my smaller Ornaments (2 5/8")....

I also want you to know that I made 2 snowflakes per

Ornament... sooo there is one in the front and one

with these handmade Ornaments for all of my

wonderful Neighbors and friends.... Thanks sooo

Another Fun Gift Project for the Holidays....

Hello and Happy Tuesday everyone!

I've been a busy little bee and I will keep busy ALL

WEEK LONG! I LOVE the Holidays but man...

I could use a vacation! LOL I also want to remind everyone

that today is the last day to sign up for our HUGE GIVEAWAY!!

Fun Gift Project for the Holidays... I really enjoyed doing this one...

YUP! I made Glass Glitter Ornaments...

But I used Etching with mine!!! :o)

I wanted to make pretty ornaments... but

I also wanted to personalize them.... Sooo I

decided to try out my vinyl and Glass Etching cream....

My idea was to make these for the Teachers,

Neighbors, Post Office Gals, Etc...

Sooo... I started with the Vinyl.... I put my moms name

on one... this was NOOOO easy task! Trying to

place someones name on a glass ornament took

some work and a few words I don't like to use often! :o)

Got myself a paint brush and opened up the glass etching

cream for the first time.... I KNOW...

WHAT TOOK ME SOOOO LONG???

Don't know... this really is an easy process....

Let my cream set for about 10 - 15 minutes....

And presto.... chango... I got myself

a pretty etched glass ornament...

that is my youngest son helping me out!

He couldn't wait to see his name on

the glass ornament....

Soooo.... then I proceeded to pour some

Pledge floor cleaner into my ornament and swirl

it around and threw in the glitter and let my

7yr. old shake it.... And there we have it!

A BEAUTIFUL Glass Ornament that

is now personalized and PRETTY!!! :o)

This one is mine.... Isn't the blue lovely??? :o)

Now I had plans to make a bunch for the teachers,

Neighbors, and such... but upon doing 6 of them

for my family... I realized that the etching wasn't as clear

as I would have liked... I mean you can see it in

the photo, but because it is angled.... Sooooo

I had another plan.... I'm always thinking... I tell ya!

Soooo come back tomorrow and I'll show you

what PRETTY things I made for all the

wonderful people in my life!

Crafty Home Decor Gift Project...

Hello and HAPPY MONDAY EVERYONE!!!!

I'm soooo super excited.... Tomorrow is the last day

Last Easel Card..... For now.....

Hello and Happy Thursday Everyone!

I was sooo busy yesterday that I didn't have

any time to check out the Design Teams blogs.... :o(

I promise I will check out every ones blogs this weekend

and leave some comments.... I didn't get any of my

Christmas Cards started yet! I know... I Know.... WHAT?
For someone who is sooooo organized.... I think I'm a little

off on it right now.... I went ahead and cleaned my scrap room....

Which really needed a little bit of reorganizing.... Soooo I spent my

time doing that... Now that I got it the way that I like it.... for now... :o)

I will get started on my LOOONNNGGG list of things to do! My hubby

asked me today... what I had to do? And when I told him I was like...

boy oh boy there are NOT enough days to get all the things I want done

by Christmas.... But I have faith and as long as I stay focused I can get

tons of things done! Soooo now that I've rambled on and on..

I added to my snowlady.... Just the Apron, Mittens, Ear Muffs are

cut out 2x's for added dimension.... I don't know if you can

tell or not but the DCWV paper has glitter on it and my snowlady

is inked in a light blue for a shadowing effect! Well.....

Cricut Cardz Challenge #53!

Hello and Happy Wednesday everyone!

Is it me or is this week just going by quickly?

I have been sooo busy that I haven't even had

time to check out my favorite blogs.... Oh My...

I'm hoping I'll be caught up this weekend.... I think it's

all this Christmas shopping that I'm doing and certain crafting

and then trying to keep up... I hope my head is screwed on right....

Anyway.... Today is our Cricut Cardz Challenge!

This week we are to Make a set (2 or more) of 3x3 Christmas

gift cards, OR a set (2 or more) of Christmas Gift Tags using ANY

Cartridges or colors... Well I chose to make the Gift Tags.... But I took

it just a step further.... Soooo take a look! :o)

Gift Tag Set came out... :o)

Designer Paper is Echo Park.... I LOVE this paper! :o)

The Acetate Lid is stuff I bought

at Joann.com... So not sure who it's by...

Cricut Cartridges - Ginger Bread all cuts were at 1 3/4"

TBBM using my Design Studio I sized my tags at 2 3/4" x 5"

then folded it..

I also used the Paper Dolls Cartridge...

              I wanted the tags to tuck in after folding them.... 

    So I used the mouth from the Paper Dolls 

 face and had it cut out with the tag....

Here.... I wanted to show you how I placed them

on the card stock... I used this punch from

Stampin' Up and made marks every 3/4" so it would

be even... this took me a couple of tries of course... but

I did get it done... :o)

Then I wrapped this Card stock around my box and

used adhesive to keep it in place... I did the same thing

with the ribbon... I used an eyelet with some cord to make

a gift tag for the person I'm planning on giving this set too...

I really like how it turned out... so I cut out more tags to make

a few more sets to give to my boys teachers... :o)

I am going to redo the lid because I don't like how the

adhesive is showing... sooo that may change... but all in all...
