Hello and Happy Wednesday Everyone! I hope your week
is going great so far! Today I have a card for you for our
make a Birthday Card for a Grandparent! You can use any colors
or cartridges you'd like! Sounds like a good challenge to me! I don't have
any grandparents alive and either does my husband so when I decided to
make this card I was thinking of my parents or my hubby's parents and
a card that my children would give to one of them. My Mother in Laws
birthday is in August so I thought this would be really pretty for
her to have from my boys. I used a brand new cartridge on it and I really
like the colors and look of this card! Here's the info on it! :o)
Card stock, Punches, Ribbon 5/8" - Stampin' Up
Sentiment - My digital Studio (Stampin' Up)
Designer Paper - Basic Grey (Ambrosia)
Gem Brad - Karen Foster
Cartridge - Flower Shoppe (Small Center Flower) Cut @ 3"
(Grey Flower) Cut @ 2 1/2" (Red Petals) Cut @ 2 1/4"
(Orange/White Flower) Cut @ 2 3/4"
Basically I adhered all the flowers together then I poked
a whole in the center wide enough to fit the Gem Brad through.
Then I used Glue dots to adhere the flower to the ribbon/paper
(P.S. I made this just before I lost my Mojo! It's the card
I was having trouble with colors/paper that I mentioned in
yesterdays post! Thank goodness I like how it turned out!)
Here is a close up of the flower itself... This cartridge has lots
of great flowers and layering options... Mix and match is certainly
going to be fun with this Flower Shoppe Cartridge!
Now that you've seen what I've made for this Challenge...
