Flower Shoppe!

Hello and Happy Wednesday Everyone! I hope your week
is going great so far! Today I have a card for you for our
Challenge over at Cricut Cardz Challenge! Everyone is to
make a Birthday Card for a Grandparent! You can use any colors
or cartridges you'd like! Sounds like a good challenge to me! I don't have
any grandparents alive and either does my husband so when I decided to
make this card I was thinking of my parents or my hubby's parents and
a card that my children would give to one of them. My Mother in Laws
birthday is in August so I thought this would be really pretty for
her to have from my boys. I used a brand new cartridge on it and I really
like the colors and look of this card! Here's the info on it! :o)

Card stock, Punches, Ribbon 5/8" - Stampin' Up
Sentiment - My digital Studio (Stampin' Up)
Designer Paper - Basic Grey (Ambrosia)
Gem Brad - Karen Foster
Cartridge - Flower Shoppe (Small Center Flower) Cut @ 3"
(Grey Flower) Cut @ 2 1/2" (Red Petals) Cut @  2 1/4"
(Orange/White Flower) Cut @ 2 3/4"
Basically I adhered all the flowers together then I poked
a whole in the center wide enough to fit the Gem Brad through.
Then I used Glue dots to adhere the flower to the ribbon/paper

(P.S. I made this just before I lost my Mojo! It's the card
I was having trouble with colors/paper that I mentioned in
yesterdays post! Thank goodness I like how it turned out!)

Here is a close up of the flower itself... This cartridge has lots
of great flowers and layering options... Mix and match is certainly
going to be fun with this Flower Shoppe Cartridge!
Now that you've seen what I've made for this Challenge...
Head on over to The Cricut Cardz Challenge and check out
all the other wonderful creations the
Design Team has done and then join us for this great Challenge!
Thanks for stopping by! Have an AWESOME DAY!!!

Batman & a Bow???

Hello and Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope you're having
a terrific day so far! I have been having creativity issues...
For the past 2 weeks I should have made things and yes I've
done a little but not on my normal scale. I'm not sure what my
problem is but I gotta get back on track! I was looking at my
paper stash last night and I couldn't come up with anything for
awhile! I mean some papers are in packs which should make it
easy to put together but I kept saying nooo, not that, nope, ummm
nooo and not liking my colors which were already picked for me!
Have one of you taken my MOJO AWAY? I have an all night
crop this Friday and have made NOTHING to take with me!
I'm starting to freak out just a little.... so if one of you have it
could you please return it to me just for this week so I can get
some work done? Pretty Please! :o) I'll show you what
I made for my son to give to his friend for his birthday! :o)

Finally got to use my Sizzix Bow Die! :o)

I used all Stampin' Up Card stock to make this bow!

I wanted it to match the colors in the word "Happy"
on the wrapping paper!

I used a large orange brad to hold everything together!

Then my son wanted me to make his friend
a Batman Card! I used my Design Studio
to weld the 2 batman pieces together.

And I used the "Hide Contour" feature to
hide all of Batman's lines so we could put
a sentiment on the inside. This sentiment
is from a Stampin' Up Birthday set.

I got to finally use my Batman Cartridge!
Had it for awhile and hadn't cut anything....
Good thing my son likes Batman! Hopefully
he'll want me to make something with my
Superman Cartridge too... Cause it hasn't
been used either! OOPS! :o) Well that's it
for me today! I gotta go find my Mojo! Have an
AWESOME DAY!!!

Hello and Happy Monday Everyone! So here is my surprise!
I've downloaded my very first VIDEO! Can you believe it?
I was thinking about doing videos for awhile now and finally
decided to take the plunge! I was sooo nervous and I don't like
the sound of my voice on the video but it's my first one so I
guess that can be expected.... Right? LOL My son Juston likes
making videos so he was the one who video taped it. It's not the
best video but I hope you guys can try and make them too!
Anyway... without further ado here's my
very first video and I hope you like it! :o)

I want to THANK (pinkaboo6691) for showing me how to make these flowers!
Well that's my first video in a nutshell! Let me know what ya think!

Lacey Labels (Pink Shapes) Cut @ 3.8 The (Dark Pink)
was flood filled with a color that was on the Imagine and
the (Light Pink) was flood filled with designer paper on pg. 39
The (Tree) was Cut @ 3.5 and I used the separate button
to just cut the tree out (2x's)
The (Dog/Cat) was Cut @ 3 and I used the separate button
to just cut the couch & dog/cat (2x's)
The (Banner) was Cut @ 3.3 and I used the separate button
to just cut the banner (2x's)

card that you see! :o)

Ancestry Prayer....

Hello and Happy Tuesday Everyone! I hope all of you
had a fabulous holiday weekend! We went and saw the
fireworks in the next town and it turned out wonderful!
I LOVE looking at the pretty colors up in the sky! We
didn't do much else... It was a very laid back weekend and
I didn't even bother to craft again! Ok... That's a small lie!
I did do a small craft project on Friday night which I will
show you very soon and I did make a Paper Flag on a
stick for my son. He said he wanted to wave it as we were
watching the fireworks! And he did! :o) But that's all
I did all weekend! I didn't even get a chance to hop on
over to say HI on some of my favorite blogs... :o)
So here is my project for today! :o)

Over the weekend my Hubby & I both found out some
relatives past away.... One from his side the other from mine...
We knew these people but were not that close so I thought I
would post a sympathy card in their honor... I'll be
mailing them out today... :o) This is a 4 3/4" Square card.

Card stock, Ink, Stamp, Punches - Stampin' Up
Designer Paper - Ancestry Patterns Imagine Cartridge
(Cross) Easter Cartridge 2010 Cut @ 1.8 (on the Imagine)
Cream Pearls - Prima Marketing

Well that's it for me today! Hopefully I will make
something to show you tomorrow! I'm pretty sure I will! :o)
Have an AWESOME DAY!!!
