Thank Ewe....

Hello and Happy Thursday Everyone! I can't believe
how fast the week is flying by again! It just seems like
yesterday was Monday! :o) I think August will be
gone before you know it! :o) I have some news to tell
ya.... Not super exciting news or bad news.... Just some
news.... I will be taking a vacation from the blogging world
this next week! I need to get several things at home in order
before my oldest heads off to college and the other 2 start school....
I figure it should only take me a week to get this work done...
I've already spoken to my sister Mi-Mi and she should be
posting in my absence... I will miss checking every ones
blogs out.... I may even have some withdrawals! LOL
I'll be posting on Saturday August 13th because I'm
in a "Back to School" blog Hop hosted by my blogging
pal Jovan over at  Cards by Jovan
There will be giveaways so make sure you
stick around for that! My sister also has some
fun plans this next week so make sure you check back
to see what they are... That's all I can say about that!
Here is today's project for you! :o)

I made a set of 4! One of my friends asked me to make
her this type of card, because 2 of her children are in
the 4H program and our Fair is next week, so they'll
be showcasing their lambs. She wanted 4 thank yous to
give to the people that buy and helped with the
lambs.... So of course I was happy to help her out.. :o)

Falling Leaves 2011 #2......

Hello and Happy Tuesday Everyone! I hope your week
is off to a great start! I'm back with another "Fall Card"!
I hope you don't mind! :o) I read the comments from
yesterday and I feel so bad for all of you who are still
in a heat wave! That's one good thing about living
here... During the day it's warm (not HOT) and in
the evenings it's cool... I hope showing you these
fall cards you'll feel a little cool... I don't know if that
could ever happen... but if I had a way to cool you down
I would! :o) Here ya go.....

Card stock, Ink, Punch - Stampin' Up
Sentiment - My Digital Studio (Stampin' Up)
Cartridge - George & Basic (4 3/4" Square)
I cut the square using the George cartridge &
Flood filling the square with Designer Paper
from Enjoy the Season Cartridge.....
Enjoy the Season - (Tree) Cut @ 4"
(Leaves) Cut @ 1" (12x's) Flipping 6 of them

The Squirrels were apart of a bigger design... they were
sitting on a stump..... so I used the "Separate" feature
and cut the squirrels out from that... I cut out 4 of them...
2 were flipped so they could face the other squirrel.....
Then I added dimensionals to pop them up! :o)

I also used dimensionals to pop up the leaves...
This is a 4 3/4" Square card... Well that's it for
me today... I hope you like my other "Fall" Card!
I'll be back tomorrow with a VIDEO!!!
Have an AWESOME DAY!!!

Fall 2011...

Hello and Happy Monday Everyone! I hope you all
had a fabulous weekend! Mine was sort of productive...
Got something done just not a lot like I hoped! :o)
I did get 8 cards done.... and tried several times to
do my video... but I'm not really good at that yet...
Sooo No video today! But I will have it ready by
Wednesday! That is a promise! So in place of my
video I decided to show you one of the cards that
I made this weekend... Now don't freak out or anything
but it's a FALL CARD! I told you guys I like to think ahead.....
And since today is August 1st and school will start in 3 short
weeks for us... I thought it would be ok to share it... :o)

Card Stock, Ink, Ribbon - Stampin' Up
Designer Paper - Enjoy the Season Imagine Art Cartridge
Border Punch - Martha Stewart (Double Scallop)
Brown Baker's Twine
Cartridges - Lacy Labels (Circle) Cut @ 2" Flood Filled
(Scallop Circle) Cut @ 2 1/4" Flood Filled
Enjoy the Season (Hedgehog) Cut @ 1 1/2" (2x's)
(Fall) Cut @ 1" (3x's) 1 was flipped

Here's a side view to show the dimension... I cut "Fall"
out 2x's then 1 more time flipping it.... Then I attached 2 of the
pieces together (1 flipped & 1 Reg.) I then put a hole through
it so the twine could go through.... Then I took the 3rd "Fall"
piece and attached it with dimensionals to cover the hole
in the front.... I hope that made sense... :o)

Well that's my card for today... I hope you like it....
Thanks for stopping by... Have an AWESOME DAY!!!

2 Cards for 2 Challenges!!!

Hello and Happy Thursday Everyone! The week is over for
me already... I will try to spend some quality time in my craft
room the next few days creating some cards! They will most
likely be holiday related.... Since I told ya I like to think ahead
to holidays around this time of year... My son's Birthday was
great yesterday... He loved the cards that I made and his gift...
After we had our Birthday dinner/dessert My oldest son took
him to the movies to see "Captain America"! My hubby went too
because he likes those types of movies.... They all had a great time
and he told me it was a great Birthday! So that's all that matters to
me! He was HAPPY! :o) Anywhoo.... I'm gonna post 2 cards today!
Yes I know your jaws are dropping! But I wanted to get these in for
the 2 challenges I made them for before I start my weekend and my
sister starts to post! Or at least I hope she does! LOL
So here is the First one.... And the second one will be under
this post & it won't have any writing except for the recipe...
So here we go with Challenge Card #1!

This is one of the Birthday Cards I made for my Son Juston!
My other boys gave it to him with some cash in it!
So you know he liked that! hahahaha

Card stock, Ink, Designer Paper - Stampin' Up
I made the rosette myself using a strip of paper
Cut @ 1 1/2" x 12" scored @ every 1/2" and then I stuck
2 red circles on it to keep it in place....
Cartridges - Sweet Treats (Ice Cream Cone) Cut @ 3 1/4" (2x's)
Designer Calendar (16) Cut @ 1 1/2"
I used Glossy Accents (by Ranger) For the 16 & Ice Cream top

I added dimensionals to pop up the ice cream....
I also used a couple embossing folders for the
Cone (Argyle), Green Ice Cream (Swiss Dots), Red Top (D'vine Swirls)
I also added some Glossy Accents to the holes/sprinkles on
the blue ice cream.... Just to give it more pop....

Well I hope you like my card.... It looks much cooler in person!
I also made this for the Challenge over at:
Bitten by the Bug 2 - Make a project using the Ice Cream
Cone on the Sweet Treats Cartridge.... If you don't have that one....
use an ice cream cone from a cartridge you do have! :o)

Thanks for looking! The other card I made is below this one!
Have an AWESOME DAY/WEEKEND!

2 Cards for 2 Challenges Part 2!!!!

Hello again.. this is a quick one since it's a second post...
Here is the second card I made....

Card stock, Ink - Stampin' Up
Designer Paper is From the Yummy Imagine Art Cartridge
Cartridges - (Banner) April Showers Cut @ 2"
(Top Banner Layer green & Name) was welded together
in my gypsy using the April Shower & Lyrical letters (jumbo font)
The letters are @ 3/4"
I used 2 silver brads from my stash to look like it's nailed in the wall
I used a white signo gel pen for the faux stitching around the banner
The Numbers (16) are from the Sweet Treats Cartridge Cut @ 2 1/4" (2x's)
I also used Glossy Accents on my sons name... you may not be able
to see the shine but it's there! :o)

The Inside Cupcake was cut from the Yummy Imagine Art Cartridge
The Cupcake was Cut @ 3 1/2" from the first Image in the book, then
The Cupcake wrapper was Cut @ 4" from the 2nd Image in the book....
I wanted it to have more blue colors than pink.... :o)
The inside came from my Hallmark Program and I
used the RGB Codes from a Stampin' Up color for the colors
in the sentiment...

I cut the cupcake out twice and popped it up....
I also used some Glossy accents on the Cherry and
the Darker Chocolate top layer......

Here is just a side view showing the #16 Candles being popped up!
I also used some Yellow Stickles for the candle...
Just around the border to give it a little flame spark! :o)

I'm putting this in the Challenge over at:
Birthday Sundaes - Using an Inspirational Photo
Here's the photo:

My inspiration came from just using the cupcakes and the
Color blue in my card..... You are suppose to have a sentiment
on your card as well... but because this is clearly made as
a 16th Birthday card I thought it would still apply!
Or at least I hope so! :o) Anyway that's my
2 cards for 2 Challenges.... I hope you guys like them!
I thought they came out great and so did my son
who has them displaying in his room!
Have an AWESOME DAY!!!
