Tuscan Sun Birthday.....

Hello and HAPPY FRIDAY EVENING!!! I'm so excited it's the WEEKEND!

I've been crazy busy at work ALL week long! So today is AWESOME!

A 3 day weekend is so what I need right about now! LOL I hope you

 all have plans for the holiday weekend.... Mine involves me CREATING

some cards for my card swap this month and another home décor project

that I've been dying to create! I got all my pieces for it... I just have to

hide in my craft room and get it all pulled together! Oh and maybe

take in a NAP or two! LOL Any who... Here's a card that I created to

add to my stash! :o)

Home Decor....

Hello and Happy Monday Everyone! I hope you all had a Wonderful

Weekend! Mine was tiring! I haven't been sleeping well lately so yes....

Tiring certainly sums up my weekend! Hopefully I'll go see the Chiropractor

this week and maybe he'll adjust what needs adjusting so I can sleep a little

better! :o) But in the mean time.... I have something cool to show you!!!!

 

One of my dear friends had a Birthday this past week.....

And I wanted to make her something other than what I

would normally make... I think I'm pretty in tune with my

friends and family to know what they like so I created this

just for her! :o)

 

 

My dear sweet friend Anna is very much a Girlie Girl!

And I knew when I decide to create this.... What colors

and Paper I was going to use!

 

All the letters were created with my Silhouette

using the letter boxes from the Silhouette Store!

 

 

All the Pretty Embellishments and Designer

Paper are My Mind's Eye

 

All the Tulle I got from my Local Craft Store,

All the Gems are from Stampin' Up

 

I had my hubby cut a piece of wood for me and

then I spray painted it a glossy grey...

After I assembled all the letter boxes

 I hot glued them down on the wood base,

then I decorated the letters to make

it a display piece for her craft room!

 

 

Of course I could not make the gift without creating

a card to match my friend's style! So here I cut out

the dress & hat from a Silhouette file and added

a paper Doily and some pretty Pearl Bling

 

added a little more Bling to the inside of her

card as well....

 So what do you all think of my Gift?? I've been

dying to post this but wanted to wait til I

gave this to my friend... She received this Friday

night at our Monthly All Night Crop!

 

I told everyone there:

"SEE I can make other things besides CARDS!" LOL

"Thank You" cards ready for his teacher!

I think Teachers are AWESOME! They

are amazing at what they do and they

help shape our children for the future.

And I feel they are not thanked enough! ;o)

an envelope to match.

Birthday Moose....

Hello and Happy Monday Morning Everyone! I hope you all had a

Fabulous weekend! I actually took a couple of days off and took my

youngest son School shopping and made it into a Mini Vacation

before school starts! We ate out and stayed in a really nice hotel.

Went swimming and just spent some time together since I really didn't

get to spend much time with him over the Summer.... Now with school

getting ready to start in a couple of days, I should have some down time!

Or at least I hope I get some! LOL

Hello and Happy Wednesday Everyone! WHAT? I've posted twice in

1 week?? LOL I know, I know... I told ya I had to get through July for

work! It was a crazy month! August is a tad slower, so I actually have

some FREE time! yay for me! :o) Here's another card I've

I realized I didn't have any more baby girl cards in my stash...

That's bad cuz I have a couple of friends who are pregnant
