I just want to put in a plug for a New

I made a gift for my sons Girlfriend....

She likes Cameras & hopes to become a Photographer

one day...

 

 

The Sentiment is from the Sil. Store #57854

The Chalkboard sign w/ twine is from Walmart

I used White, Gray, Green Vinyl from Amazon

I added 2 Charms to dangle, it has a camera & her first Initial

and then added some pretty Green Ribbon to make the bow

 

She said she really liked it, especially the sentiment and she

couldn't wait to take it home & hang it in her room...

Hello & Happy Wednesday everyone!

Well... I didn't go to the card swap last night... :(

She called me around 2:30 realizing she gave

me the wrong day! HA It's every 2nd Tuesday

of the month.... So it's not until next week! Dang It!

But She has an open crafting day today and said

I could come on over to meet some people if I wanted....

So, if I get some free time today, I will... :)

Hello & Happy Tuesday Everyone or is it?

Okay... I wrote yesterday about My Craft Spot

& Peachy Keen Stamps no longer selling stamps...

Which I'm still really, really, bummed about... and then I read

that Flowers to Flourishes (it's a Daily Deal Craft Site)

is nooo longer selling stuff!! WTH!! We are only 6 days

into the New Year and I'm just getting shocked left & right...

My Crafting World is crumbling.... UGH....

 

Insert over dramatic hand over head fainting spell!

 

I do however have some exciting news.... well maybe not

for you but for me anyway! Wink, Wink

You guys know I just moved a couple of months ago

and I haven't made any friends yet...(Inserting Sad Face)

 Well... Today that is going to end! I'm joining a Card Swap Group!

 

Yay for me.... At least something is going in the right

 direction this year! Haha

I recently stopped in a Craft Store and was chatting

with one of the ladies there.. telling her about me

moving & trying to meet new crafting friends & such

So, she took my name & # and gave it to a gal that

lives 15 minutes from me who does card classes...

Now, I don't really "NEED" card classes per se....

But then she said she has a card swap group and

they just lost a member... so they have 1 opening!!!

 

I was like YES, YES, & YES again!!! So tonight

I will finally make some friends AND join in a

monthly card swap group.... Finally

something is going right! Now... let's hope they

like me! LOL

 

Okay... now that I'm done with that Loooong

Don't go bacon my heart.....

Hello & Happy Monday Morning to ya!

My Youngest went back to school today!

I'm one of those parents that LOVES having

their child home during school breaks... It never

really bothers me, so its sad he had to go back...

But now we just look forward to Spring Break! :)

I'm sure you have all heard by now about Kimberly

over at My Craft Spot... I'm so sad about it... :(

I LOVE using her products as most of you know...

I totally understand why - Family always comes first

But she will be very, very, much missed!

Then - Peachy Keen announced that they will

no longer be making stamps.... I was like WHAT?

This is starting off to be a hard New Year! :(

I LOVE Peachy Keen stamps too... So they will

be very, very much missed too....

On top of ALL of that... my favorite cookie Jar got

broken yesterday too! I was so upset...

I had it for such a long time.... :(

 

Now that I've become the "Debby Downer" today

 Maybe I can cheer you & me up with a card...

Bubble, Hello...

Hello & Happy Dance Friday to ya!

 It's really weird to have a day off in the

middle of the week... I think it throws

people off big time! LOL

 

But that's okay cuz it's the weekend now!

Just a couple more days left before my

son heads back to school! He's made

all sorts of Lego's while he's been on break

and we've watched some fun movies together...

But it's time to get back to a normal schedule again!

HBTY.....

Hello & Happy NEW YEAR! Are you ready

to start the New Year off right? I AM!!!

I haven't told you guys this yet... but I got a

Cricut Explore for Christmas! I Know... I Know...

some of you will be SHOCKED! Trust me, when I say

I'm shocked too! LOL I thought I was done with Cricut

stuff... I mean I still have ALL of my Cricut stuff but

never seem to use it....

They had a really great deal &

I got a bundle pack really cheap so I decided to get it...

Now.. I opened my gift and get it all set up only to find

that I feel like I've "Dummy downed" in technology...

I think they still have a ways to go....
 

Everyone knows I LOVE Print n Cut... and I thought... awesome!

I can use my 200+ cartridges again with PNC... nope..

I mean it will do it.... but only with 8 1/2 x 11 paper and

only a 6 x 6 section on that paper.... So I was like WHAT???

They do have some nice features and it is

most certainly QUIETER than my Cameo or other machines by far!

It does cut nice, but I haven't really gotten my feet wet yet!

I made 2 projects so far & plan to use it a bit more.... My Cameo

will still be my GO TO Machine! For sure, but I'm glad I can use

my cartridges again... I have some I haven't ever used... so we shall see!
 

I do want to add... that I did find a video from Provocraft

stating that the first part of 2015 they will add 12 x 12 & 13 x 19

paper size for print in cut... So let's see if they utilize the whole

sheet like my Cameo does! Also they are adding DIGI PAPER!

FINALLY!!! I was concerned about that too... You All know I owned the

IMAGINE... which I LOVED... but then they (Provocraft) Screwed us

royally without any updates or fixes.... And because I owned an

Imagine machine they gave me all the Imagine Content which I THOUGHT
included the PAPER! But it did not (which I was upset with too).....

But they said that will be here the first part of 2015 as well...

So I will let you know how it goes once those

updates are added!

In the mean time... I will stick with my Cameo!!! wink wink

Here's a card I created using my new Explore Machine...

 

 

Like my New Watermark? I made it myself....

Can you believe that? Me neither! It wasn't as hard as I thought!

So this was one of the Pre-made Projects the Explore offered...

Except... it was actually a Layout! haha... so I changed it

down to an A2 card size along with adding a scallop border

(Ribbons & Rosettes) & an extra rectangle w/circles in blue

I removed a couple of items that were in the original design...
