Birthday Cake... YUM!

Happy Monday Crafty Friends!
How was your weekend? Did you
guys watch the Super Bowl? Craft instead?
I don't actually have TV so I did some crafting!

This week my theme is die cuts
with My Creative Time Dies... I have
a ton of Emma's Die's & Stamps (Which I love)
but I haven't used them as much as I should have...
They were all "Gotta Have it" things, so now
I'm going to try using them! 😉

I'm gonna start with 2 Birthday cards
that I made for teachers at school -

I'm also trying to use up all the 6x6 paper
pads that I've been hoarding for a while now!

I did add some Clear Wink of Stella on the flame - You just can't tell in my
poorly done pictures!

The Tiny Tag Die & Sentiment are from a company that's no longer in business
but the bow is Trendy Twine...

I think the teachers will like these... 😊

Thanks for stopping by!

Shades of a pink Penguin....

Hello & Happy Thursday Crafty Peeps!
OMGOSH! it's the very last day of January!!!
How did that happen? New Year's day was
just yesterday? Right?
Okay... Maybe I'm just a month behind! 😜

I made another sweet card using the
PENGUIN LOVE Digital Stamp set by my
Sweet Friend Jessica!

I used 3 different shades of Pink Distress Oxides for this card
along with that Sweet adorable Penguin! I also added some
Clear Glitter to the heart that cutie is holding...

My Crafty Friend Jessica over at Polka Dot Orchard
started designing her own Digital Stamps and asked
me if I would like to try them out. Of course, I said
HECK YEAH!!! I LOVE Penguins!!!

She made this entire set

You can find this adorable set along with some
other fabulous sets she's made at her store

I hope you can take a look... She's made some
wonderful designs and was a sponsor of the Coffee Lovers
Blog Hop back in December...
She's a new & upcoming artist which I think you guys might like!

That's my Theme this week - (Digital Stamps)

You warm my heart...

Hello & Happy Wednesday Crafty Peeps!
With February in just 2 days, that means
the next holiday is upon us...
VALENTINE'S DAY!!! The day of LOOOVE...

I really didn't plan on making Valentine's Day
cards this year because I have soooo many already
in my stash - FYI Crafty friends... You'll probably be
getting one in the mail! LOL

So, I was thinking a little differently while using
Jessica's Digital images - Which you can use these
Digital images in ANY Program you have crafters -
I just happen to use my Silhouette Cameo for mine...

What do you guys think of this one? I like
how I created the background using the Digital
LOVE image... Then I colored it in with my markers...
The cup can be coffee or Hot Cocoa! I have crafty friends
who prefer Cocoa, so this is for you guys!!!! 😚

My Crafty Friend Jessica over at Polka Dot Orchard
started designing her own Digital Stamps and asked
me if I would like to try them out. Of course, I said

I'm Back? What? Already?

Hello and Happy Monday Everyone!
What? I'm BACK Already??? YUP!
I couldn't stay away THAT long...

Actually, I could have, but I have way too many projects
to show you... This is what happens when you
take a break from blogging I guess? You actually
can find your creative side... Or not?
I guess that would depend on the person...

I've decided to do a few things differently...

#1) I'm NOT going to list
all the products I use... It's TIME-CONSUMING
and I don't get paid for it... so Why Should I?
I will list a link to a Company/OR Blog if I'm participating
in their challenges of course - 😉

#2) I'm gonna try and do a theme every week
like... Using a particular Stamp or technique
or inks or cameo projects only... I think you get it?
If not... you'll see what I mean... LOL

#3) I'm going to use what I have already
which is a lot... I have tons of Stamps
and Dies which have not been touched in forever
or Brand new Stamps & Dies I've never ever used!
(I'm a BAD CRAFTER)

#4) I may not leave as many comments as I normally
have in the past... As you know... it's very time-consuming
and you all know I follow you and I love to leave you love, but I
can't when you post 2,3,4 times in a single day. that's a lot...
I will check blogs 2x's a week and leave my comments then and
only for 1 post... Sorry bout' that... But I got lots going on
as I'm sure you do too... So if you can't leave me a comment
I'm totally cool and understanding of that... 😘

I think that's about it... nothing life changing
really... I'm just rethinking things as I go along.
I will POP onto FB every once in a while.
I really have no need to be on it unless I'm on a Design team...
Which at the moment I am not and happy to be free to create
whatever the heck I want when I want... I miss that! 😊

Anyway... I have a Theme post for this week starting tomorrow
if anyone wants to take a look -
P.S. Thanks for always sticking with me!! 💝💝💝

Have a Fabulously Crafty Day!!!

Happy New Year!

Hello & Happy New Year to you all!

How were your holidays? Did you guys
enjoy time with your families? Go on any trips?

Mine was wonderful - My Marine came home and
we got to spend some quality time together -
I miss him already! (inserting Sad Face)
My oldest came home as well, so I had all 3
boys home for Christmas - It really was nice and we
had a 24 hour NO CELL PHONE rule -
So we could spend that time focusing on our family -

It turned out great, then I went to visit my sister
with 2 of my boys and I did
a little shopping with my sister - hung out with
my nieces and great niece & nephews...

Headed back to Vegas to drop my Marine off with
his older brother for New Years - and I headed
home to organize my craft room and do a few other
things before I headed back to work this past Thursday.

I've got to be honest... I've really enjoyed not being
on my blog, or Facebook this whole time...

I got my Mojo back which I'm thrilled with and now I'm
contemplating on if I should take a longer break
from the internet world... I mean I tried to keep
up with my commenting, so I did use the internet...

But then this past week I haven't because I was
trying to focus on getting organized and making
projects with stuff I already have - So I don't know...

I promised myself that I would not purchase any
new dies or stamps this year - We'll see
how that goes... The only things I am for sure
getting is maybe some Baby & Wedding Stamps/Dies

While organizing my stuff I only found 2 baby stamp sets
and only 1 wedding set... I don't "need" them, but I do sell
my cards at work and they're always looking for Wedding
& baby cards from me... So I will probably invest
in a few of those sets but that's about it - other
than the basics we always use like adhesive &
cardstock for my card bases... :)

While trying to get my Mojo back I decided to use my stamps
& dies that I've purchased over the past couple of years and
haven't used - As you can imagine I have a LOT that
I've never used to this day - so I'm hoping that using these items
will help get my creative juices flowing again - So far it's
working... I managed to create 14 cards in 4 days! Yay Me!

So, even though I have projects to share
I haven't gotten any pictures done yet and don't
know when I'll be sharing them - maybe next week?
Maybe not? I'm still not feeling like blogging...

You guys know it takes a lot of work to do blogs or
videos or post or leave comments on top of everyday life stuff...
And I just feel drained right now... Not sure how else to explain it...

Sorry for the long rambling... But thought you should know
where I'm standing right now... I will be making my
blog rounds soon, cause I want to continue to support
my crafty friends - It just might be a few more days or
a week from now when that happens...

Just know, I'm thinking of all of you and
hope to be out of my funk soon!!!

BIG HUGS!

Special Gift for my Sister!

Hello & happy Friday Everyone!
I have a special post just for today!
If you are seeing this, it means I'm at
my sisters' house visiting and she has finally seen the gift I made her!
I've been soooo excited to share this!
I hope you like it as much as she does! :)

Most of you know I love to make wood projects -
and I really haven't been on the ball with it as
I should be, but this piece is now my
 FAVORITE Wood Piece Ever!
In fact, I loved it sooooo much that I made 2 of them!!
One for her and one for me!! EEK!!!

Isn't this the coolest??? I so LOVE it!!!
I got the wood pieces from my local wood Craft store
I painted everything and added the papers I had in
my stash - lots of paint, Mod Podge, Wood glue, Hot glue -
a little drilling here and there - :)

The ladder was Spray-painted in black

The papers I'm using are from American Crafts - they were in my
Scrap Stash pile - I had a couple of pieces of wooden snowflakes, so
I painted them to match the paper then used some wood glue to
attach it to the wonky shape - I made a bow with my Candy Cane Trendy Twine
then I hot glued a gold bell onto it - it's attached to the ladder with wood glue -
I had some silver Chenille Stems and twirled them with a pencil then
I hot glued a piece of it inside the wood shape (we drilled a tiny hole for it)

This piece was painted green and I inked the edges with black Momento Ink
The sentiment is all vinyl, then I added different sizes of red enamel dots
I grabbed some Red, Green, & White Tulle and tied them up then I hot glued
them to the wood - We drilled some tiny holes in the top so we could attach
some screw hooks for it to dangle on the ladder -

This piece was painted Green & red then I added the paper with Mod Podge
I sanded the edges then inked it in black - I attached the star to the top
and put some Clear Wink of Stella on it, just for some sparkle!
I had some leftover Red Mesh, so I made a little bow
out of it and Hot glued the mesh & Bell to the wood piece -
Then I used some wood glue to attach it to the ladder!

Here's Mr. Grinch himself! LOL
I painted a portion of this wood piece in Green and the
other portion Red - His Face is Vinyl and I inked the edges in black -
I used an assortment of sizes for the White Enamel dots on his hat -
His trim was painted white then I used some
DecoArt - Snow-Tex to create the texture on the trim -
I never used Snow-Tex before, it was interesting to mess with, I really
like the added texture with it -
As you can see we had to drill a hole in the top of his hat so he
could dangle on the ladder as well -

Here's another Fun Wood Element piece - I painted this one green
then added the paper with Mod Podge - It was plain so I went ahead an
grabbed a Sizzix Oval Die and Die cut a piece a green Fun Foam then
Die cut the Green & White Striped Paper, just to add a little something to it -
Of course, I felt it still needed a little something so I grabbed
my, My Creative Time Present Tag Die and die cut out the
gift portion and adhered that on top of the oval shape -
I liked that a lot better and then I added Some Clear Wink of Stella
to the bow portion on the gift -
I found some Red Chenille Stems and twirled it up
with a pencil then I drilled a small hole and Hot glued
it to the wood ornament - I Hot glued the Red & White
Tulle and the red bell before using some wood glue to attach it
to the lower portion of the ladder -

Here is the last piece that's dangling on the ladder -
The towns are all vinyl words- as you can tell I painted
everything either Red, Green or White! hahahaha
I mod Podge the striped paper then inked the edges in black
I added a couple of White enamel dots and used more of that
Deco Art - Snow-Tex on this piece...
It really looks like snow from a distance...
I like the texture it adds to the wood pieces -

As I said I made 2 of these - it took some time to
make both of them but so worth it - They both look almost
exactly the same - I had to use a different piece of paper
on one of the wood ornament pieces -
otherwise, they are pretty close in matching -

Thanks so much for stopping by!
I'll be back sometime in a week or two?

I've kind of lost my Mojo for cardmaking, so
we'll see what happens - I've been trying to keep
up with my blogging Comments, not so much on FB -
Work has been keeping me super Busy!
And right now, I'm trying to enjoy some time
with my Marine Son who is home for the holidays -
He hasn't had a Christmas with us in a couple of years -

I wish you ALL a Fabulous New Year!
