Honeycomb rainbow...

Hello & HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!
EEK! The Weekend is here!! YESSSS!!
Do you guys have big plans for the weekend??
Honestly, I don't really... I do have some
Wood projects I want to get completed so
I can put them up around my house -

I have some Summertime pieces and
a patriotic one I want to complete...
I also have a few signs I want to make as well...
I've been putting them off too long...
So hopefully I can make a dent in some of those
projects while it's fresh in my mind!!

I thought I would switch things up a bit
and share a Birthday card I made for
another Teacher at school -

A week or two ago I made some Rainbow card and
this happens to be one of the ones I made using my
Heidi Swapp Honeycomb Stencil & my Distress Oxides
I really like the design in landscape form... :)

I added an assortment of Rainbow Jewels from Lucy's Cards
to flow with the rainbow ink blending
The Celebrate Word die is from Stampin' Up (Cut 3x's & layered)
The Fishtail die is from My Favorite Things
The Sentiment Stamp is from My Favorite Things
I heat embossed it with some Ultra Fine White Embossing
Powder from Simon Says Stamp

Here's the inside of my card as well... I kept the rainbow going
along with a sweet sentiment!

Patriotic Farmhouse...

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
The Weekend is almost here! YAY!!!

I wanted to share a "Sort of" Patriotic card I made
to send to my son--

As most of you know, I have a son in the Marines and I like
to send him cards - just to let him know I'm thinking of him -
We talk on the phone weekly when he can, but I like to
just pop cards in the mail for him and I know he
appreciates getting them from me with just sweet
little reminders of how proud I am of him!

So I made this card to send him and to make it for
the SumMore Fun Stamps Challenge that's still going on -

I used a Star Stencil for my background and some Distress
Oxide inks in Red Brick & Mermaid Lagoon
Then I die cut it out with a Stitched Rectangle die
I added some Red Striped Washi tape and set it aside -

Then I stamped the Victorine Originals
Farmhouse Stamp on a piece of white cardstock with some
Stampin' Up Creamy Caramel ink
I die cut it out with a Stitched Oval die
and thought the card needed a little sentiment -

So I took another piece of White Cardstock
and used some of the Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink
and blended it until I thought it looked good -
Then I die cut a Stitched Banner die out of that colored paper
then took the (Hello) Stamp from the Flourshing Thoughts
Raisin Boat Stamp set to give it that final touch I thought it needed -

And now it's in the mail to my Handsome Son! :)

Red & Blue Congrats...

Hello and Happy Wednesday Crafty friends!
Wahoo! We are 1/2 way through the week already!
I'm certainly looking forward to the weekend!

I don't know about you... but the weather here is HOT already!
We've been in the 90's and my AC is working hard!
Last year, I think it was a little cooler still at this time
of year... but I guess Mother Nature is ready to get this
party started! LOL
As long as I stay inside, I'm a happy camper! LOL
Summer is not my favorite season
but I do enjoy having my son home from school
so we can take day trips together or visit family
while he's off... Come August, I'm sure I'll be
happy for him to get back to a routine... But
for now... we'll just enjoy his time off! :)

I've got another graduation card to share with you

I made a Male & Female Graduation card!
You never know which one they'll need
so I went with both and I also went with Red & Blue -
Utah's school colors are Red or Blue (mostly)

So, I thought I would stick with those colors on some
of my cards and other cards are just black/gold/white
or Black/Silver/white - since you can never be
to sure on what someone is really
looking for in a graduation card! :)

I found the Silhouette images through Google and
traced them in my Silhouette Program
adjusted the sizes to work for my card fronts and
then cut them out. I popped them up with
some dimensionals from Stampin' Up

The Stitched Rectangle Die & Postage Stamp Frame Die
are from My Creative Time
Cardstock is Recollections 110lb Black & White
The (Congrats) word Die is from My Craft Spot (No Longer in Business)
I cut them out 3 x's each in Silver Neenah Cardstock with some
Stick it adhesive on the back side
The Designer Paper is some old Stampin' Up 6x6 pad I had

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a FABULOUS DAY!!

Quick Graduation Card -

Hello & Happy Tuesday Everyone!
It's another busy week - so I'll make
this post-Short & Sweet!! (Or I hope too anyway)

I've got another Graduation card to share -

This was a pretty quick CAS card to make!
I found the Graduation file in the Silhouette Store (#134846)
and I knew I wanted to make it the front of my card

I also went with the school colors in Red & Black - I added some
Clear Wink of Stella on the Grad Hats and added
some Ice Cube Jewels from Lucy's Cards to give this card
a more Feminine touch - I made 2 of them
One for a Male & this one for a female -
The Sentiment was Heat Embossed in Ultra Fine White
Embossing Powder from Simon Says Stamp
The Sentiment is from PaperTrey Ink
The Stitched Rectangle is from My Creative Time

*** Other Products Used ***

Cardstock - Recollections, Stampin' Up, American Crafts
Silhouette Machine, Gemini Jr., Heat Tool, Multi Matte Medium,
Fun Foam, ATG Adhesive, ThermOWeb Adhesive, Embossing Buddy,
& The Misti

Have a Wonderfully AWESOME DAY!!!

The Future Starts here...

Hello and Happy Monday Crafty Friends!
How was your Mother's Day Weekend???
Mine was really nice and quite just like I like it! LOL
Hubby took me out for lunch on Saturday to avoid
the crazy crowds on Sunday and I made a bunch more
Graduation cards...

Have any of you felt like you made too many cards
at once and then didn't know what to make afterward?
That was/is me right now... UGH! I spent one weekend
making a bunch of Design Team cards, then
the following weekend I made a bunch of Graduation cards,
then again the next weekend making more graduation cards!
I ended up at one point CASING myself again... cause I
didn't know what to do... Sometimes it just flows...
and sometimes I get drained and come up with nothing...

I'm just glad I got the graduation cards done...
I'm NOT making any more this year unless I
absolutely have too! Ya know what I mean? (Wink Wink)

Well... We got about 1 1/2 weeks left of school
over here... This week is a Full week and next week
is a short week with short hours... Today's the
School's Annual Carnival so I'll be going to work
late tonight! Not my favorite thing to do... But
someone has to clean up the big mess they
leave behind! hahaha
My son said he'd come with me tonight to
help clean up around the school... He's
such a good kid... Sometimes I just can't
believe he's my son! LOL

Anyway... enough of my silly rambling...
Here's a Graduation card that I made
for some of the Teachers at school - They're the
ones who requested I make the graduation cards
for them and I'm happy to do it --

I used the Simple Stories Rad Grad Collection -
Cardstock is Recollections 110lb Black, Bazzill, DCWV Shimmer Gold
I used my Sheer Shimmer Sparkle Spray on the Stars & Diploma
Assorted Rectangle Stitched dies are from My Creative Time

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a FANTASTIC DAY!!
