Jingle Bell Rock....

Hello & Happy Friday Crafty Friends!!!

The weekend is here and that means I get

to Start my Spring Break Vacation!! Yipee!!!

We are heading to Vegas today to celebrate 

my Hubby's Birthday - 

He turns the big 5 - 0 tomorrow!!

I have plans to get some balloons that

say Over the Hill and maybe get some 

Black flowers too!!! I've done this for my family

when they've all hit that milestone! It's just

plain old FUN for us! :)

We're only staying the weekend, so I'll

be home all next week crafting (I Hope)

Maybe get some Spring Cleaning done???

Nawww... that's just CRAZY talk right there!! LOL

Anywho... I just wanted to share my

Christmas card with you-

The foil background I made last year when I tried

foiling for the first time (Gina K. Designs) - and the penguin trio

is from Lawn Fawn which I also colored last year

 The Penguins (Here we go A-waddling) are colored on some

Tim Holtz watercolor paper using my Zig Real Brush Pens

They were die cut out with my Scan N Cut Machine

I added some dots to the scarf, hat, & Earmuffs with

a White Gel Pen

The Rectangle Stitched Die and Happy Holiday

Circle die are both from My Favorite Things

And the Stitched Bracket die in vellum 

is from KasierKrafts

I used some Fun Foam to pop up the

Foil rectangle and added some

Ice Cube Jewels from Lucy's Cards to finish it off!

I thought it turned out pretty cute!

The inside has the sentiment from the same 

Lawn Fawn Stamp set and it says

Hope your Christmas (Jingle Bell) Rocks!

Simply FUN!

Golden Prayers...

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
I have a quick post for ya today!

 I'm sharing a Lovely Prayers card
I made using a Victorine Originals Stamp 

The Elegant Cross Stamp is called

Lily Cross (2326-S)

It's so pretty and has amazing details --

I used Gold Embossing Powder on mine and

it's so pretty up close....

I also did some foiling again (It's been awhile)

The Music Background is from a Minc

Package I had and I put Gold Foil over it -

The Prayers word was cut out 3x's and layered

on each other for more dimension

I used Distress Oxide Ink for the greens Shades -

Twisted Citron, Bundled Sage, & Peeled Paint

I really LOVE the way this card turned out--

From one Chick to Another....

Hello & Happy Wednesday Crafty Friends!

Today I've got a super quick post since

I've got lots to do before my Spring Break Starts!

I thought I would share a Sweet Easter Card

that I made over the weekend...

This turned out sooo cute! I just LOVE it!

I colored that sweet little chick last year, it's in my

large pile of colored images and I pulled out my

Scrappy Mom Stamp Set called (Paint the Town)

And I just used some Distress Oxides in

Squeezed Lemon, Worn Lipstick, Peacock Feather,

& Wilted Violet

Not only do these Oxides blend really well together

but they stamp just as well too!!!

I just stamped those paint swooshes on to a piece

of 110lb. White Recollections paper and then

Stamped the sentiment in Black Ink

Then used my Heat tool to make sure it

was completely dry before running it through my Big Shot

with a Wonky Stitch Die

I adhered it to some Fun Foam then adhered it

to my Purple Cardbase - I added some

Lucy's Cards Ice Cube Jewels and It was done!

The Sentiment & adorable Chick stamp are from

the Pink & Main Stamp Set called (Easter Peeps)

Colored on some Spectrum Noir Ultra Paper using

my Spectrum Noir Markers

Rondelle Birthday....

Happy Tuesday Crafty Friends!

I hope your week is off to a good start!

Mine certainly is since Spring Break

Starts next week! YAY!! I get a week off

and the weather is supposed to be in the 70's!

So for me... Friday can't come Fast Enough!!!

In the meantime... I thought I would share a 

lovely Birthday Card I made for another Teacher at School.

I'm using the Digital Prima Paper Collection called Rondelle

I just love the Peaches & Yellows in this collection -

I used a Stitched Rectangle die (3 3/4x5) and I used 

a WeRMemory Corner Rounder punch (1/4") - 

I wanted my sentiment to be elegant and Pop, 

so I'm using the Jaded Blossom (Simple Sayings) stamp that

I heat embossed in Fine White Embossing Powder

Then die cut out with a Banner die

I added some Fun Foam for Dimension and the

yellow flower is popped up with some dimension as well

I also wanted a little Sparkle... So I sprayed some of my

Sheer Shimmer Sparkle spray on the flowers & Leaves

SumMore Fun - Mood Board Challenge #23

Hello & Happy Friday Everyone!

Today... starts another FUN Challenge over at: 

SumMore Fun Stamps

 YAY! I know how you

guys enjoy a good Challenge!

Our Mood Board is - 

 You can use the theme, pictures, or color combo
 You don't have to use
a stamp from SumMore Fun if you don't have one!


All the rules for this fun challenge are RIGHT HERE!

Here's what I created to inspire you --

I was totally inspired by the Shamrocks in
the photo and the assorted shades of green!

I thought to fill a basket full of Shamrock's
and sending some Good Luck to a friend
might be in order --

I stamped the Firework Explosion (5093-S) in Memento
Cantaloupe ink & Hero Arts Green Hills ink
Then die cut it out with a Wonky stitch die
from Lil Inker Designs

Then I took a piece of light green dotted paper 
and stamped the Basket (74207-G) with some
Memento Tuxedo Black ink -- I die cut it
out with my Brother Scan N Cut Machine
Then fussy cut the center of the basket so I could
place a bunch of small Shamrocks I die cut out
inside of it.

I adhered a piece of green cardstock to the white
cardstock and added a piece of fun foam to
the back of that before attaching it to my
orange dotted paper --

I then adhered all those layers to a black card base
I popped up my stamped basket and some of the Shamrocks
Then stamped the Just Because Sentiment on a piece
of light green scrap paper and Die cut it out with a banner Die

Of course, I wanted my Shamrocks to SPARKLE -
So I used my Clear Wink of Stella pen to shine
them all up and I added it to the Basket too!

You guys know I like my inside to work along with the outside
of my cards, so I added more Shamrocks and added a sweet
Sentiment called I'm so glad to have a friend like you
