Silver & Gold...

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
Today's my day to take over the blog at:

I thought I would share a lovely Christmas card -

As most of you know... next to Fall, Christmas is my other FAVORITE
time of the year - I love how they both just flow into each other -
Makes me Very HAPPY!!! So today I thought I would try to
inspire you to get started making those holiday cards!

Look... mine are all done for this year - YES I'm a nut case...
BUT, when you think about ALL the other things you're trying to do
during the holidays, wouldn't it be nice to have your handmade
cards off that list? Early? even better! Just sayin' (Wink Wink)

This card was fairly easy to make - I started off with a
piece of White Cardstock (Neenah Solar White)
and I stamped my Ornament image front and center with
Brilliance Starlite Silver ink, then poured some
Ultra Fine Silver Embossing on top of it, then heat set it

I then took a pair of my Tim Holtz scissors and cut the center
out of my ornament - Since I had plans on turning this into
a shaker I wanted my sentiment on my card front
before I did anything else - So I did the same process
as the ornament - once that was done -
I grabbed a Wonky Stitch die and die cut my white
card front for that finished look -

Now I can complete my shaker - I found some pretty Christmas
paper in my stash that had silver & gold to it (Perfect)
and I grabbed a piece of Acetate and now I'm ready to
get the shaker part together - I adhered the acetate to the backside
of the white card front - then added Stampin' Up Dimensional
Stripes around the circle - Added an assortment of Silver
& Gold Sequins then added the Designer paper to seal it off

Flipped it over and started to shake, shake, shake! (Always so fun)

I then added some Fun Foam to the backside of my shaker
for an even look and dimension - Then I folded a White card base
in half (A2 Size) - 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Top Folding
Then I found a lovely piece of foil silver on white designer Paper
and thought that would look nice behind my shaker
so I cut it down to fit the front of my White Card base
and attached it with some adhesive

Then I grabbed the shaker that was on the fun foam
and attached it to my silver/white card base

Of course, it needed some final touches, so I adhered
some of the silver & gold sequins to the front of my card
and then made a double bow using some
Silver & Gold Elastic Cording I had -

And now another Holiday card ready to go in the mail!!!

Winter Bird....

Hello and Happy Wednesday Crafty Friends!
I haven't shared a Holiday card in a while so
I thought I would post one today -

This was a super quick 5-minute card (LOVE THOSE)
The Designer Paper did ALL the work for me -

The Designer Paper was a Large scrap in my Stash and
while looking at it, I realized I could make this a quick easy
Christmas Card - So I took out my Favorite
Stitched Rectangle Dies from (MCT) and cut out the section
I wanted for my card front -

Then I stamped my sentiment from (Scrappy Moms) No longer in Business
After that was complete, I backed my card front with a
piece of Fun Foam for Dimension and adhered it to
my Blue Card Base -

I added some Bling to dress up my card and I used
my Sakura Clear Glaze Gel pen on the Birds Wing, Beak & Eye.

Super Easy to complete!

SumMore Fun Mood Board Challenge # 36

Hello & Happy Friday Everyone!
Today... starts another FUN Challenge over at:

Our Mood Board is -

You can use the theme, pictures, or color combo
 You don't have to use
a stamp from SumMore Fun if you don't have one!

All the rules for this fun challenge are RIGHT HERE!

Here's what I created to inspire you --

I went with the colors in the mood board again to create my card -
I'm using the Adorably CUTE
Raisin Boat Stamp Set called Robo Party
I'm also using the Raisin Boat Stamp Set
called Flourishing Thoughts for my Sentiment .

I colored my little Robots with my Stampin' Blend Markers
Then I masked them off so I could create the sky
background - Then I added a few drops of water and
grabbed a paper towel to dab it up.

The Gear embossing folder is from Provo Craft called Clockworks
The "Friends" Die is from Simon Says Stamp cut out 2x's
and I added some inking to the lower half of the word
The Stitched Window Frame die is also from
Simon Says Stamp - It has a Happy Birthday sentiment
that's inside the frame, but I cut it out so I could use the
window for my cute Kitty & Dog Robot friends!

Just a reminder that if you play along, the Random
winner wins a $20 Gift Certificate to the
SumMore Fun Stamps Store!!
This is such a wonderful prize!!

I hope you guys can join us --
I would LOVE to see what you create!

Musical Birthday Wishes....

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
Today's my day to take over the blog at:

 I thought I would share a Birthday card -

I'm also entering the Challenge over at -
Seize the Birthday - RAINBOW

I went ALL Rainbow on you guys! LOL

I'm using my Distress Oxides inks - Candied Apple, Squeezed Lemonade,
Lucky Clover, Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch, & Wilted Violet

I started out by blending all my colors together on a piece of white cardstock
then letting it dry completely
Once it was dry I stamped the Music Background with some
versamark ink and poured some Ultra Fine White
Embossing powder over it and heat set it -
Then I die cut it out with a Stitched Postage Frame Die -

I die cut a Stitched Frame Die with some White Cardstock
Then I grabbed a piece of Vellum and stamped the
Happy Birthday Sentiment right onto it with
some black onyx versafine ink and poured some ultra
black embossing powder over it and heat set it -

I thought the Black Embossing on the vellum would stand out
a little better over my rainbow background -

I attached the vellum with some liquid glue behind the
Happy Birthday Sentiment (So it wouldn't show through) then
I wanted a sweet bow, so I grabbed some Berry Trendy Twine
and tied it on the lower portion of my Postage frame
I adhered it to my white piece then attached it to my black cardbase.
For a little extra bling I used some Rainbow Jewels from Lucy's Cards.
