2 Cards for 2 Challenges!!!

Hello and Happy Thursday Everyone! The week is over for
me already... I will try to spend some quality time in my craft
room the next few days creating some cards! They will most
likely be holiday related.... Since I told ya I like to think ahead
to holidays around this time of year... My son's Birthday was
great yesterday... He loved the cards that I made and his gift...
After we had our Birthday dinner/dessert My oldest son took
him to the movies to see "Captain America"! My hubby went too
because he likes those types of movies.... They all had a great time
and he told me it was a great Birthday! So that's all that matters to
me! He was HAPPY! :o) Anywhoo.... I'm gonna post 2 cards today!
Yes I know your jaws are dropping! But I wanted to get these in for
the 2 challenges I made them for before I start my weekend and my
sister starts to post! Or at least I hope she does! LOL
So here is the First one.... And the second one will be under
this post & it won't have any writing except for the recipe...
So here we go with Challenge Card #1!

This is one of the Birthday Cards I made for my Son Juston!
My other boys gave it to him with some cash in it!
So you know he liked that! hahahaha

Card stock, Ink, Designer Paper - Stampin' Up
I made the rosette myself using a strip of paper
Cut @ 1 1/2" x 12" scored @ every 1/2" and then I stuck
2 red circles on it to keep it in place....
Cartridges - Sweet Treats (Ice Cream Cone) Cut @ 3 1/4" (2x's)
Designer Calendar (16) Cut @ 1 1/2"
I used Glossy Accents (by Ranger) For the 16 & Ice Cream top

I added dimensionals to pop up the ice cream....
I also used a couple embossing folders for the
Cone (Argyle), Green Ice Cream (Swiss Dots), Red Top (D'vine Swirls)
I also added some Glossy Accents to the holes/sprinkles on
the blue ice cream.... Just to give it more pop....

Well I hope you like my card.... It looks much cooler in person!
I also made this for the Challenge over at:
Bitten by the Bug 2 - Make a project using the Ice Cream
Cone on the Sweet Treats Cartridge.... If you don't have that one....
use an ice cream cone from a cartridge you do have! :o)

Thanks for looking! The other card I made is below this one!
Have an AWESOME DAY/WEEKEND!

2 Cards for 2 Challenges Part 2!!!!

Hello again.. this is a quick one since it's a second post...
Here is the second card I made....

Card stock, Ink - Stampin' Up
Designer Paper is From the Yummy Imagine Art Cartridge
Cartridges - (Banner) April Showers Cut @ 2"
(Top Banner Layer green & Name) was welded together
in my gypsy using the April Shower & Lyrical letters (jumbo font)
The letters are @ 3/4"
I used 2 silver brads from my stash to look like it's nailed in the wall
I used a white signo gel pen for the faux stitching around the banner
The Numbers (16) are from the Sweet Treats Cartridge Cut @ 2 1/4" (2x's)
I also used Glossy Accents on my sons name... you may not be able
to see the shine but it's there! :o)

The Inside Cupcake was cut from the Yummy Imagine Art Cartridge
The Cupcake was Cut @ 3 1/2" from the first Image in the book, then
The Cupcake wrapper was Cut @ 4" from the 2nd Image in the book....
I wanted it to have more blue colors than pink.... :o)
The inside came from my Hallmark Program and I
used the RGB Codes from a Stampin' Up color for the colors
in the sentiment...

I cut the cupcake out twice and popped it up....
I also used some Glossy accents on the Cherry and
the Darker Chocolate top layer......

Here is just a side view showing the #16 Candles being popped up!
I also used some Yellow Stickles for the candle...
Just around the border to give it a little flame spark! :o)

I'm putting this in the Challenge over at:
Birthday Sundaes - Using an Inspirational Photo
Here's the photo:

My inspiration came from just using the cupcakes and the
Color blue in my card..... You are suppose to have a sentiment
on your card as well... but because this is clearly made as
a 16th Birthday card I thought it would still apply!
Or at least I hope so! :o) Anyway that's my
2 cards for 2 Challenges.... I hope you guys like them!
I thought they came out great and so did my son
who has them displaying in his room!
Have an AWESOME DAY!!!

Happy Holidays Challenge....

Hello and Happy Wednesday Everyone! We are already going
through another week so fast! Today is my middle sons Birthday!
He turned 16 years old today! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUSTON!
In a few weeks he'll be starting school as a Junior and I look
forward to all the adventures with him & High School!
My son went down to the DMV today to get his Official License.....
So if any of you live near by (WATCH OUT!) LOL He's a good
driver so no worries there! I just hope today is everything he hoped
for and more... He only wanted an Ipod and some T-shirts for his
16th birthday... And instead of a Birthday cake he asked for
Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies! My mom likes to make that every
year with Pumpkin Chocolate Chip bread... It's Juston's FAVORITE!!!
The rest of us don't like it as much as he does so it will be
made just for him today! He also asked for me to make a Chicken pasta
dish that he LOVES! So that will be for dinner tonight!
I guess I will show you what I made today! That is probably
why you came here in the first place! :o) Today happens to be
The Cricut Cardz Challenge! You are to make a HOLIDAY CARD!!!
ANY HOLIDAY CARD YOU WOULD LIKE USING ANY
CARTRIDGES YOU'D LIKE! I Had a hard time choosing this
one because you guys know I LOVE Fall/Halloween but I
Also LOVE Christmas time too! So see which one I chose!

Yup.... Christmas! I actually designed this shortly
after I made all those Layouts... It really got my juices flowing!

Card stock, Ink, Gems - Stampin' Up
Cartridges - George & Basic Shapes (Circles) Cut @ 2 & 2 1/2"
Sentimental (Center Shapes) Cut @ 2 3/4" & 3"
Snow Angels Imagine Art (Everything else)
Cut @ 2 3/4" (Flipped) (2x's)

I used a cotton ball from my Chalk container for her pom pom

The Stamp is from My Pink Stamper (Christmas Wishes)

All the shapes where flood filled with the designer paper
from the Snow Angel Cartridge... I just LOVE how this
turned out! I hope you guys like it to! Now that you've
seen what I created, head on over to Cricut Cardz Challenge

Make a wish.....

Hello and Happy Tuesday Everyone! I hope your week is
off to a great start! I've been creating like I said yesterday
so that's good for me! :o) Tomorrow is my Middle sons
Birthday! He'll be 16 yrs. old! And He'll be getting his
License as well! He's actually a pretty good driver compared
to his older brother... I mean he's a good driver too but when
I was first teaching him (older Bro) how to drive he made me
so nervous to be in the car with him.... I think it was because
he was really nervous.... His hands would get all sweaty when
he would drive which I think made me nervous.... But my
Middle Son has a lot more confidence with his driving abilities
that I was never nervous being in the car with him.... I actually
felt safe.... Weird? Hu??? Anyway so I will post a CARD! Yes
I said a CARD for tomorrow... Not my son's Birthday card
since I don't want him to see it just yet but a card indeed!
So today's post is the conclusion to yesterdays Layout! :O)

I did a black out on my sons friends faces, because I didn't get
their parents permission to show them on my blog.... :o)

Designer Paper is from My Mind's Eye (Lemon Twist)

I used Bo Bunny Double Dot Paper for the words/number...
The "Make a Wish" was cut out @ 5 1/2" using the
Sweet Treats Cartridge.... The Number (8) was Cut @ 2"
From the same cart.... I cut both items out 2x's each for
added dimension! I also inked and used my Signo Gel pen...

I used a Fiskar Border Punch (Treading Water)
and I used the Plantin Cartridge for the Stars...
They were cut out @ 1", 2", 3", (2x's each)

I hope you liked the second half of this 4 page Layout!
I really enjoyed making it! Now tomorrow I'll
be back with a CARD! Yeah!!! I got some Mojo back!
Thanks for stopping By and Have an AWESOME DAY!!!

Eight Year's Old....

Hello and Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had
a fabulous weekend! The Fireworks for "Pioneer Days"
was AWESOME! They looked so cool and so close since
they go right over my house! It was hot most of the day...
But luckily around here the evenings are nice and cool
so I try to go outside in the evening time when the weather
is at it's best around here! Lots of people from all over the
state come to visit their family and friends... The town was
definitely popping Friday & Saturday night! Both of my older
boys work at restaurants and they both were wore out with
all the people coming in! They don't like it much but I
know the business owners LOVED having their places
full all day long! :o) And I was even creative over the weekend!
I think my Mojo is back to some degree... I guess you'll have to
wait and see what I've been making! Today will be another
Layout since I told ya last week that I still had more to
show you... So without further ado here's today's 2 page LO!

The Designer Paper is from My Mind's Eye (Lemon Twist)

I cut the Stars out with the Plantin Cartridge
They were cut @ 1", 2", 3" and I did them (2x's each)
to give them some dimension

The "Happy Birthday" was Cut @ 7" and
is from the Sweet Treats Cartridge....
I used a signo gel pen for the Faux Stitching.....
I used the Bo Bunny Double Dot paper for these cuts....

I cut the Large Circle From the George Cartridge...
It was cut @ 5 1/2".....

The Tag was cut from the Sweet Treats Cartridge...
I cut it @ 5" and the ribbon was in my stash.....

Well I hope you like it cause I have the other 2
pages to show you tomorrow.... Yup this was a
4 page layout! :o) Thanks for stopping by and
Thanks so much for leaving comments they mean
so much to me! Have an AWESOME DAY!!!

Brothers... Love....

Hello and Happy Thursday Everyone! I Can't believe the
week is almost over already! Wow these past 4 days went
so super fast! And I'm already heading into my weekend!
I guess I better get some crafty things done for ya.... I still
need to get my next video up so that will be coming very
soon... :o) This weekend Utah celebrates it's
"Pioneer Days" When Utah became a state....
So there will be a lot going on around town
the next few days..... My favorite part is the Firework
show the town puts off every year! I'm not from Utah so
I don't get too involved in their Celebration but the fireworks
can be seen from my backyard so it's one thing my family
gets to enjoy! They also have a parade showing all kinds of things...
TRACTORS being the biggest part! They have a lot of
OLD style types which are pretty neat to see.... Most
of the people that live here in my small town grew up here
and have family that's been around for many generations....
It's actually quite interesting to see and they are very
proud of where they come from.... And I'm happy
to live in their wonderful community/Town! :o)

Everything is from the Bo Bunny Ad Lib Line

I cut around the rock paper...

The stickers all look 3D and I used card stock
for the backings so I can pop them up with dimensionals

Cartridge - Heritage (Brothers) was Cut @ 1 1/2"
I also used a white signo gel pen

I used glue dots on the embellishments

Cartridge - Heritage (Love) was Cut @ 2"

Im gonna put this in the Challenge over at:
Paper Cutz Challenge - Anything Goes
Well that's it for me this week! Thanks so much for
stopping by and leaving comments... I always enjoy
reading them! Enjoy the rest of your week and I hope
you have a great weekend as well! For now
Have an AWESOME DAY!!!

Hello and Happy Wednesday to you all! How is every ones
summer going? Too Hot? Too wet? Too boring? Hahaha

don't even want to hear that! I look forward to spending
the summer off with the kids but once August 1st hits...
I try to go back into my school schedule so I'm ready when

got ideas spinning in my head for Fall, Halloween,
Thanksgiving, & Christmas! I know you guys are thinking
(But Theresa it's still Summer!) Yes I know that, but
I'm always thinking ahead of time and that's what's on

Graduation Layout.....

Hello and Happy Monday Everyone! I know I was suppose
to post a video but a few things got in the way of that so I
decided to show you this whole week what I did over the
Weekend! It may even go into next week as well.... So You
know I said I lost my Mojo.... right? Well I realized that I didn't
lose my full Mojo... just my mojo for card making at this time!
I know how could that be? who knows... So instead of making
cards I chose to make Layouts! YES, I said Layouts! I know most
of you are in shock! Since you know I'm a card maker! And I like
to do digital layouts... Remember I had a crop on Friday night and
I had nothing pre-made to bring with me.... well I decided instead
to try my hand at what brought me into the crafting world to begin
with and that was scrapbooking! So for this whole week and probably
next week as well (yes I made that many!) I will post the scrapbook
pages I made at my crop! I hope you like seeing them cause I'm
pretty darn proud of them! So here is the first one! :o)

Everything is from the Bo Bunny (Timepiece) Collection

I cut out around the watches and layered that piece on
top of the same exact designer paper...  (I hope
that makes sense)

Used an embellishment to lay on top of the paper watch

This is a thick sticker but look 3D! I placed the sticker
on a piece of white card stock and added dimensionals
to pop it up over a portion of the photo....

I used the Billionaire Cartridge and welded the
words together in my gypsy.... Cut @ 1 1/2"

I used the fiskar border punch (uppercrest) on this strip
and the border strip on the other page. These are also
stickers that I put on white card stock then added
dimensionals to pop it up over his photo...

This is going into my scrapbook and I have plenty more
photos to make an 8x8 scrapbook for my son to take
with him when he leaves next month.... :o)
So you see.... I still have some Mojo left in me just
not for cards right now... I'm hoping it will be back
in no time after making all kinds of fun layouts that I
can't wait to show you! Thanks for stopping by
Have an AWESOME DAY!!!

to make sure this is something that you haven't seen
as yet! I will also have a new video for ya on Monday!
So at least I got that day covered! tehehe Anyway....
Here is a masculine card for today! :o) If any of you have
seen this card before please let me know in the comments! :o)
