Victorine Originals Mood Board Challenge #12

Hello & Happy Friday Everyone!
Today... starts another FUN Challenge over at:

 YAY! I know how you
guys enjoy a good Challenge!

Our Mood Board is HARVEST -

You can use the Mood Board or go by the Theme
or Use the color combo or Use all 3!!! You don't have to use
a stamp from Victorine Originals if you don't have one!

All the rules for this fun challenge are RIGHT HERE!

Here's what I created to inspire you --

I wanted to use the pumpkins that were on the Mood board -
I LOVE Fall as most of you know - so this was easy for me to create --

The Designer Paper I'm using is DCWV

Autumn Leaves Mini Stack
The Banners, Stitched Circle, and Stitched Rectangle
Frame die are all from My Favorite Things --

I stamped the Pumpkins on a vine (2587) stamp

with some versamark ink and heat embossed it with
some Copper embossing powder
The sentiment is the small Thinking of You stamp
from Victorine Originals and I heat embossed that as well

I hope you guys can join us --
I would LOVE to see what you create!

Halloween Witches....

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
Today's my day to take over the blog at:
YAY for me... 🙌

I thought I would show you a FUN
Halloween card I made for a crafty friend of mine!

Isn't it just Darling? I thought the witch was so cute! I'm using the
totally adorable Halloween Kids Stamp Set - there are (6) different
images in this set and I LOVE each one of them - I've already
colored them all up so I can place them on some cards --
It even comes with some sweet sentiments -

Now the card sketch is from My Favorite things - I'm using
the Blue prints #8 die set and changed up the sketch a
little to suit my needs - The sentiment is also from
Victorine Originals - it's called Happy Halloween sentiment -
It's a nice long sentiment which fit perfectly on the  long
banner die I used - The fun papers are Doodlebug and
I added some Nuvo Glitter drops, just to give it a touch
of sparkle! I colored my image on some Canson water color
paper and colored her with my Zig Real Brush pens -

Hello & Happy Wednesday Crafty Friends!
Today, I've got my Monthly Card swap cards
ready to share with you - This is for October's

I'm using Echo Park yet again!! No Surprise (I know) Wink Wink --
This Collection is Called (A PERFECT WINTER) and I just adore
that sweet moose with the hat! TOO CUTE!!!

I used my 1/2" WeRMemory Corner Punch and the Stitched Circle die
is from MFT - The Stitched Rectangle Die is from My Creative TIme -
The Clear Adhesive Gems are from Stampin' Up along with the Cardstock -
I used my Silhouette program to create my Card, Bigshot for the dies, &
Canon Printer for the paper collection

Here is the set of 4 I made for my swap - I actually made 6 cards
So I have 2 for my own collection to mail out! I was going to make some tags as well - but realized I still have some from last year

Dollar Store Wreath??

Hello & Happy Tuesday Everyone!
I have a super quick post today!
A couple of weeks ago, I watched a video
on FB from the HomeTalk Page -
And someone was showing how to make a
Halloween Wreath really easily using some
items from the local Dollar Tree -

Well... you all know I love home decor projects
and this seemed right up my alley!
Mine is very plain, but I actually like it
like that - They showed how you could
add one of those $1 signs as well.... but the
colors are so Bright & Festive that I just stuck with
the basics on this one -  😃

I LOVE the colors!!!! So, this wreath cost me a whole $6 and
only 30 minutes to put together! I actually have plans to make
a Christmas one as well.... I have all the items for it...
I plan to make it a little more Fuller than this one too --
I will show you what it looks like when I get it done --

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a FABULOUS DAY!!

Pearls & Lace....

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
I'm so HAPPY the weekend is near!!
It's been a busy week at School and
I'm looking forward to some down time!

I thought I would share a card I made for the
Victorine Originals Mood Board Challenge --
It's still going on if you want to play along with us

as my focal point -- I stamped the image on a piece of
Scrap Designer Paper I had, in Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink
I cut my image out with my Brother Scan N Cut - then added
some tiny pearls to the lovely bride around her hair
and her swirl sweep train -- I added some dimensionals
so the couple would POP on my card --

I decided when creating this card that I wanted to try using some
embossing paste again - Haven't tried in awhile! 😉

So I pulled out some embossing paste and added a few drops
of Worn Lipstick distress ink - mixing them together
Then I pulled out my Flower Petal Collage stencil from
Gina Marie Designs and proceeded to place the
colored embossing paste right over my stencil on a
piece of Kraft CS - I also sprayed some Sheer Sparkle
Spritz spray over that before letting it sit to dry over night!

The next day I cut my sparkly textured CS out with a Pleated
Lace Rectangle die from Gina Marie Designs
and then die cut a larger pleated lace rectangle out in Vanilla CS.
I attached a small piece of scrap lace to the one corner on the
Kraft CS before attaching it to the vanilla CS - then added
both pieces to a Kraft Card base -
That's when I added the final touch of the Wedding Silhouette --
I honestly didn't think it need anythings else since I
wanted my couple to stand out....

Pearls & Lace Mood Board -

You can follow the Theme or Use the inspiration photo
or Use the color combo all use all 3!!! You don't have to use
a stamp from Victorine Originals if you don't have one!

All the rules for this fun challenge are RIGHT HERE!

The Challenge ends Wednesday Sept. 27th
So make sure to join us!

How many Holiday Cards???

Hey there Crafty Peeps! We've made it
1/2 way through the week so far! YAY US!
Today, I've got my weekly holiday card!!!
I went and did a count on how many I've made
so far - and the total is (46)

So, that's pretty darn good! I do still need a few more
so I might have to step up my game just a little bit -
My goal is 60 cards at least - I know there are only
52 weeks in a year - but I've made some doubles too --
I think I just need to make a few more doubles
to get to my actual goal! I really would like to have them
all completed by Nov. 1st!
I'm going to a FUN Holiday card class in Oct. so I'll have
at least 10 made on that day - 😊

Any who.... Here's this weeks card!!!

YUP! Echo Park AGAIN!! Seriously - this year's paper collections
have been AWESOME! I just HAD to have them all!!!
This is the (WISE MEN) Paper Collection

I'm using some SU, Recollections, & Bazzill CS
The Mini Paper Doily is from Doodlebug - I used Antique Linen
& Tea Dye distress inks to color the doily --
The Stitched Circle die is from Simon Says Stamp
The Stitched Postal Frame is from My Creative Time
The Stitched Rectangle Frame Die is from My Favorite Things
The Snowflake dies are from My Creative TIme
I used some Frosted Sheer Shimmer Spritz on my card as well
The Clear adhesive gems are from Stampin' Up

Victorine Challenge #11 - Pearls & Lace

Hello & Happy Friday Everyone!
Today... starts another FUN Challenge over at:

 YAY! I know how you
guys enjoy a good Challenge!

Our Challenge is Pearls & Lace -

You can follow the Theme or Use the inspiration photo
or Use the color combo or Use all 3!!! You don't have to use
a stamp from Victorine Originals if you don't have one!

All the rules for this fun challenge are RIGHT HERE!

Here's what I created to inspire you --

I really wanted to use the color scheme & use a little bit of
the Pearls & Lace - So I stamped the BEAUTIFUL Female
image from Victorine Originals called WOMAN IN DRESS (74835-F)
using Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink right on top of
some Kraft Cardstock - It really POPPED on that Kraft CS!!

Then Die cut it out with a Double Stitched Oval Die from
Gina Marie Designs - Since I wanted the Pink to be
the Focal point, I Die cut a Lovely Crochet Lace Oval Die
from Gina Marie Designs that my wonderful Blogging friend
BETH from (Beth's Beauties) gave to me... It made a wonderful
background layer --

So then I Pulled out a Fiskars Sunburst Border die and added that as my main
backdrop on the Kraft CS. I attached all those pieces onto my card base
then thought it needed to SPARKLE!! So I used my Sheer Shimmer
Sparkle Spritz - Which I'm hoping you can see in the photo --

I added some Lace Roses Trim off to the side using some Glossy accents
to attach them - then I decided I wanted this to be a Birthday card
I can give away to a crafty friend or Teacher, so I Die Cut the word
(Wishes) with some DCWV Pink Glitter Cardstock - I cut the
word out 2x's for added dimension - Then added a tiny Pearl gem for
the DOT on the I -- Then added a couple more tiny adhesive Pearls
to the woman's hair --

This is what the inside looks like - I'm using the
from Victorine Originals as well - I added some Tiny
Pearls around the sentiment and added a 1/2" Lite
Pink glitter strip along with some Lace Rose trim off to the side --

I think this one hit the mark on the Matching Color
Scheme of the Challenge... I LOVE my card!!! 😊

I hope you guys can join us --
I would LOVE to see what you create!

Fall Birthday Wishes....

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
Today's my day to take over the blog at:
YAY for me... 🙌

I thought I would show you a lovely
Fall Birthday Card I made for a friend of
mine - I was thinking of her and thought she might
enjoy receiving this in the mail -

Since her birthday is during the month of September,
Fall Colors Screamed to me along with a little bit of Gold!

So I pulled out the Lovely Bird Cages (74834-K)  Stamp set
I heat embossed it in gold on a piece of Vellum - Then I
decided I wanted the Bird Cages to be my focal point --

so then I pulled out a piece of Water color paper and some
Distress Oxides (Spiced Marmalade, Peeled Paint,
Fossilized Amber, Antique Linen) - After distressing
my watercolor paper I sprayed some water and lifted off
some of the drops with a towel -
Then I had to add my favorite Sparkle Shimmer Spray -
and let it all dry -
Once the water color paper was dried I added a piece
of Fun Foam to the backing just for some dimension
and added it to a Dark Brown Card base -
I attached the vellum image on top of the water color paper,
using some tiny pieces of Strong Super tape -
They're hiding behind the tiny birds & the cage strips...
You can't even tell I added them! So Awesome!

Of course I wanted to add a Sentiment -
So, I used the Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink
& the Elegant "Happy Birthday" sentiment from
the Floral & Sayings (10549-X) Stamp Set.
It fit perfectly on the Stitched Banner Die -

I was going to add some embellishments...
But I really like the simple elegance with
the gold embossing and Fall colors as the background -

Little Town of Bethlehem...

Hey there Crafty Friends!
We're half way through the week already! YAY!
I'm looking forward to the weekend!

Today, I thought I would share my
Weekly Holiday Card - I'm using the
New Paper Collection from Echo Park
Called (WISE MEN)
This collection is really pretty -
It has some black, red, cream, & tan colors --
and beautiful sentiments for the holidays....
I just fell in LOVE with it!

First of all - I HAD to use my Sheer Sparkle Shimmer Spray -
This whole card is sparkly in real life - I love the way it shimmers
in the light and so will the recipient!! My Stitched Rectangle
Dies are from My Creative Time, the Scalloped Stitched Die
is from Craftin' Desert Diva's, The snowflake dies are from
Lawn Fawn and the Tiny Doilies Die is from My Craft Spot (No
Longer Available) -- I used a couple of adhesive clear gems
on some of the snowflakes and the Cardstock is Bazzill &
Recollections 110 lb. black.

Thanks for stopping by!
I hope you have a Wonderful Day!
