Fish you were here....

Hello and Happy Monday Crafty friends!
It's hot outside! YIKES! Feels like Summer!
Ooh, wait... It is Summer!! EEK!

You all know this is NOT my favorite time of the year!
It's just to hot for me! YES! I'm a BIG BABY! LOL
At least I can admit it! Right?

Anywho...
You all know I went on vacation to visit my sister...
Anytime I visit my family and stay at their house I always make sure to
make them a Thank You card! In this case, I tend to pre-make
the card and secretly mail it to them while I'm still visiting -
I know a little crazy? But that's just me! 😜

I only do that because I know I'm going
to enjoy myself no matter what, and I want them
to know how much I appreciate them!

So, here's the card I made her -

Isn't this so sweet? I thought so anyway!

When I visit my sister I start to miss her as soon as I leave -
I can't say that with other family members, but it IS how I
feel when I'm with her - So when I saw this adorable
Sip Happens Digital Stamp set from Polka Dot Orchard
I knew right away what I was gonna make with it -

Cardstock - Neenah Solar White, SU Kraft, Acetate Sheet,
Bo Bunny dotted yellow, Stampin' Up Green

Assorted Sequins from my stash
Stampin' Blends Pens for coloring
Stitched Rectangle Frame Die - My Creative Time
Slanted Banner Die - MFT
Fish Bowl SVG Shape - Silhouette Store (#39243)

When life gets sour....

Hello & Happy Friday!
Also, Happy first day of SUMMER!!

It's been hot around here for a while already and
will continue through the coming months - my shock
is that we are almost done with June already! WHAT?
Feels like the month barely started! Is it just me?

Well... while I sit here in my Air Conditioned house
I thought I would share a nice Summertime drink with you -

I'm using some new Digital stamps from Polka Dot Orchard

This set is called - Endless Potential

I went ahead and made a watercolor background
Then I put it through my printer and printed out
the sweet sentiment - I die cut it out with a
Stitched rectangle Frame die from My Creative Time

The lemonade image was printed and colored with
some of my Stampin' Blends pens and then I cut the image
shape out with my Scan N Cut machine
I added a couple of Clear Adhesive Gems and
now it's ready to be mailed! 😁

Cardstock - Neenah Solar White, Papertrey Ink Black
Fun Foam, and SU Dimensionals

Have a FANTASTIC WEEKEND!!

Believe in the magic...

Hello and Happy Wednesday Everyone!
I'm trying to get back in the groove of things
since my vacation - I'm back to work of course
which feels like slow motion right now -
I know it'll get easier but this week feels like forever already!

I know we are only into June - but it's been a looong
time since I've shared any of my weekly Christmas cards
with you - YES! I still make them and it has been so nice
being ahead of schedule every year so far...

I am making a ton of foiled Christmas cards this year
No Surprise? Right? hahahaha

Here's one I made that I just love how it turned out -

This is soooo pretty up close! It was also very hard to take a good
picture of it - you know... with all that foiling going on! 😜

The design is from the Silhouette Store - it's a stencil (23517)
that I printed out on my laser printer -
I used Deco Emerald watercolor foil
and I had some matching making memories foiled cardstock which
gives it that framed look -

I wanted my background to stand out - so I used a piece of Vellum across the
front of my card - I printed out "in the Magic of Christmas" first then
cut the strip big enough to add the "Believe" word -
I actually foiled that word as well with some Deco Opal foil -
I just made sure to add adhesive to the front and back
of my white cardstock, then die cut it out -

I wanted to share the inside as well - as you can tell
I did some more foiling!!
I just wanted to tie everything together -
I had a hard time getting a photo of the inside -

It's on white cardstock and the sentiment was printed out
on my laser printer before heat foiling it with the
Deco Emerald watercolor foil -

I don't remember where the sentiment is from - I totally
forgot to write it down - 😉

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a Beautiful day!

You are amazing...

Hello & Happy Monday Everyone!
I guess this means my vacation is over! (Inserting Sad face)
Ooh, well... all things must come to an end, I just wish
my vacation was longer! LOL

I had a lot of fun visiting with my sister and
my nieces - we celebrated one of my nieces
birthdays - it was a milestone one, she turned 30!

We got a hotel suite, went out for dinner, drinks, and
did an Escape Room - I had never done one of those
before - it was soooo much fun! We all had a blast!

Of course, I did some shopping to while visiting -
I mean that's ALWAYS on my itinerary when visiting my sister! (LOL)

Okay.. enough jabbering about my visit I guess - 😉

I am addicted to foiling - everyone who follows me
knows this about me... :) I just can't stop! I have a pile
sitting on my desk with backgrounds that have
been foiled - I have a problem!! 😱

Which leads us into my 1st card this week -

Isn't it lovely? I did some FOILING!!! EEK! I'm using another
Digital set from my friend Jessica over at Polka Dot Orchard

I colored the To Go cup with my Stampin' Blend pens

I wanted to get a shot of the card on an angle so you could see the foiling -
I foiled the Sentiment and the lower floral border - It really
looks so pretty up close and in person!

I used a JOT Adhesive backed stencil (I found at Tuesday Morning) Forever ago
and some Deco Foil Transfer gel
I let the gel sit and dry completely then went back with some purple deco foil,
putting in through my your story laminator -
It turned out perfect to my surprise! YAY ME!
The sentiment was printed out on my Laser Printer and foiled with
some gunmetal foil by Minc

I used a Stitched rectangle frame die by My Creative Time
The Banner Die is from Lawn Fawn
The stitched strips die is from MFT
and I added a couple of Lucy's Card's gems to tie it all together!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a FABULOUS DAY!!
