May your Days be...

Hello & Happy Friday Everyone!
We are 1 week closer to Thanksgiving! YAY!
I'll be heading to my sisters this next week and
enjoying some Family time with her and my nieces!

Do you guys have any plans for Thanksgiving???
Family coming to visit? or are you going to see them?
Are you cooking? Or just bringing some yummy sides to the gathering?

Me? I'll be cooking the turkey! Apparently...
my sister has NEVER cooked a turkey before! I was
a bit surprised by that! She's older than I am (not by much)
but I've cooked several turkeys throughout my life and was
shocked to find out that she's never ever cooked one!

So, of course, I offered to do it, since I have some skills! hahahaha
She's in charge of buying the pies! Yup...
She doesn't bake pies either! LOL
I think it'll still be fun and can't wait to go see her! 😁

In the meantime, I made another holiday card to share -

I'm using the leftovers from Last weeks card -

Trendy Twine Grateful treat...

Hello and Happy Wednesday Crafty Friends!
I'm back as Guest Designer for Trendy Twine!

This month they are featuring Orange Truffle Trendy Twine

So PERFECT for Fall & Thanksgiving!!

I decided to make a treat for Thanksgiving Day -

This one turned out so Elegant!

I started out by grabbing a Mini Kraft Treat Bag and then
used my embossing buddy all over it -
Then I grabbed a leaf stamp from my stash & some versamark ink
and stamped the bag - I put copper embossing powder
all over the image and heat set it -
It turned out so lovely -
I found a piece of designer paper that looked like wood
and stamped a sentiment & embossed it in the copper embossing powder
then I pulled out 2 glittery leaves from my embellishments and
adhered the sentiment banner and leaves to my bag -

Then I grabbed a mini Clothespin and attached it to the
top of my bag to keep it closed and made a lovely
bow with the Truffle Twine then adhered the bow to the clothespin

This is going to look so lovely on my table for Thanksgiving
I made enough for the couple of people that will be here -

The Kraft treat bag is from Annie's Paper Boutique

Trendy Twine Fall Gift Bag Card...

Hello & Happy Wednesday Crafty Friends!
I'm back as the Guest Designer for Trendy Twine!

Today, I thought I would share a re-purpose idea that I had!
I saw these beautiful Fall Gift bags at the Dollar Tree -

and thought... WOW! These would be beautiful on a card!
YUP! that's where I'm going with this...

Check out what I created --

So, to start I cut up the pretty gift bag - Then I sized it
to fit thru my sizzix machine where I used a Stitched Frame die
Then I had some DCWV Burlap paper and cut that down to size as well

I adhered them both together then I wrapped some
Orange Truffle Trendy Twine around the card front
I let that sit off to the side for a minute while
I used a couple different leaf punches I have with some
DCWV Fall designer paper and then I placed them on my card front

I knew I was going to use that sweet pie image from
it on some Neenah solar white cardstock and colored
it with my Prismacolor pencils and some Gamsol

I used a Stitched Circle die to cut it out then I
die-cut another circle in brown cardstock
I adhered both together and then I grabbed the
Smile Stamp Set to add the Hello sentiment underneath the pie
I then added this to my card front using some dimensionals -
Once than was done, I attached some Fun Foam to the back of my card front
and adhered it to a dark brown card base -

I felt my card needed a little more, so I made a double bow and attached
it to the front of my card and then added some tiny sequins -

I'm super happy with how this card turned out and it's
ready to go out in the mail to someone special!!!

Trendy Twine Gift card holder...

Hello & Happy Friday Everyone!
Today, Annie's Paper Boutique is showcasing
Gift Cardholder ideas for the upcoming holidays!

Gift Cards are popular for gift-giving, especially during the holidays.
The Trendy Twine Gals & myself have created some
wonderful GC holders using Trendy Twine, Christmas Stamps & packaging.

Here's what I came up with ---

How CUTE is this gift cardholder Treat Packet? I adore that sweet Elf!!

As you can tell, there is also a treat inside my packet! These Treat Packets
come with a clear bag so you can add a little something-something to them!
I added some Peanut M & M's to mine then I added a little adhesive
to hold the bag in place - I then decorated my treat packet with some
Bo Bunny Holiday Paper then colored up the Jaded Blossom
Elf with my Copic Markers, I added a Gem Star to the
elf hat and attached the elf to the top folding part on the packet -
This way my packet will open up easily with the elf still attached!
I then grabbed a stitched tag die and stamped the sweet little
sentiment and tied some Candy Cane Trendy Twine to it.

Now, this is the backside where I made a pocket to fit the Treat packet -
I used more Bo Bunny Holiday paper and just measured out
the size of the packet, then I added a little more width and length
so I could fold them inward to create a pocket
(like a 1/4" more for each side & bottom)
Then I grabbed a 1/2" circle
punch and made the groove so I could pull my gift card out easily
Once that was done I adhered my pocket and placed my gift card
inside - I wanted to dress it up just a little bit, so I die cut a stitched oval
and stamped the fun sentiment from the Merry & Bright Christmas Stamp set
and added a couple more Gem stars -

The Trendy Twine Gals have some wonderful
ideas to share, so make sure you head over to the blog to
take a look at their creations!

ALSO - Friday (and thru the weekend) the Christmas stamps will
be $12 each with FREE U.S. Shipping!!!

Trendy Twine Truffle Treats!

Hello and Happy Wednesday Crafty Friends!
I'm back as Guest Designer for Trendy Twine!

This month they are featuring Orange Truffle Trendy Twine

So PERFECT for Fall & Thanksgiving!!

I decided to make a sweet Treat for another co-worker

This one was so fun to make!!

I started out by grabbing a Mini Kraft Treat Bag and then
stamping the pie image all over it - Then I colored them up with some
Colored Pencils, then I grabbed some Fall Designer papers
and die cut out a Tag & some pumpkins -

I stamped some sweet faces on my pumpkins and then attached
them to my tag - I stamped the sweet treats sentiment on
some white cardstock then grabbed a banner die
to cut it out and placed it over my tags & pumpkins -

I tied the kraft bag up with some of that lovely
Orange Truffle Twine and attached the tag then
created a bow to hold it together -

This was well received by the recipient! She loved
the pumpkin pies all over the bag!

The Stamps & Kraft treat bag is from Annie's Paper Boutique
