Remote Invites -

Hello & Happy Monday my fellow Crafting Peeps!
I hope you all enjoyed your weekend! I found time to
sit down and craft! That always makes for a Great Weekend!

As you well know.... I have a son who has a Birthday
the end of this week - I made him the Ninja card
that can be found RIGHT HERE!!!

I also have another son who has a Birthday
next week as well! They are 10 yrs. apart - Which
means the youngest will be 13 this year! Yikes!!!
My Baby is growing up so fast! :)

Of course, with this being a BIG Milestone Birthday
for my youngest, we are having a PARRRTAY!
Which means I HAD to make Invitations!! Okay, Okay,
I didn't have too, but if you make cards... ummm you kind of do!

Here's what his invites look like - I did remove the
personal info... cuz we are on the internet! (Wink Wink)

Since he will be a Teenager - my thought process was pretty simple -
Ummm...  Video Games/ Remotes!! LOL
I wanted to make the invite as simple as possible and still
look kind of cool - so I went with a simple Xbox Remote design
which I found in the Silhouette Store (#79637) - I think it is a Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon Design - I made it more like a Post Card type of design -
so the kids could just flip it over for the information -

I Used White Embossing powder for the sentiment stamp, so it
would Pop on that Black Card stock - Sentiment is from
My Pink Stamper

I added Glossy Accents to the colored buttons, just so it would
have a more realistic look - I also Added Dimensionals to pop up
the 2 grey circles to look like the joy sticks on a regular remote.

This is the back side of the card - I used the Offset feature in the Silhouette Program to makes the White Card stock shape a little smaller
and to write out the info for them - I then used the Print N Cut Feature
to get everything where I wanted it -

I've heard back from everyone who is coming - so my
son is very excited about his party this coming Saturday!

I'm Entering the Following Challenges -

PPPR Linky Challenge - Share any PPPR File Project

Pretty Fantastic!

Happy Thursday Fellow Crafters!
Today & Tomorrow I'll be showing you 2 cards I
created using the same paper collection from
Simple Stories - I was making the 1 card that I'll show you today
and I cut out a die sentiment that I though would work on this card
but it didn't look right, so I die cut several more of that same sentiment
in different colors to see what would look best -
But guess what? I didn't think any of them looked good
with my card! Soooo, instead of throwing away all those
sentiments, I made a 2nd card! LOL

Did any of that make sense to you??? Yeah me neither! LOL
I'll just show ya the card I've got! :)

I just think this card came out so cute! I would've loved to use the
die sentiment I had in mind, but like I said... it just didn't work for me!

Here's Today's Card Recipe --

Cardstock - Stampin' Up, Bazzill, Georgia Pacific
Designer Paper - Simple Stories (24/Seven)
Stitched Card Mat Lg. & Small, Stitched Small Banner Die,
Dotted Circle Die - My Creative Time (Stitched Rectangle Frames, Ribbon End, & Bunch of Fun Circles)
Larger Banner Die - Craftin Desert Diva's (Mix it Up)
Bear Bumble Bee - Silhouette Store (#123425)

Spring/Summer Wreath -

Hello & Happy Monday everyone!
I hope you all had a Fabulous Weekend!
It rained around here... not that we don't need the
rain, but it certainly always makes me want to
do nothing! LOL Not to worry... I did craft and
today's project is one of the things I made! :)

This is a 1st for me! I've made some wreaths in the past
but never made a Mesh Wreath. After watching a few You Tube
Videos, and I felt I had the confidence to make one
I headed to the store to pick up my items & made this -

Now I gotta say.... I'm pretty HAPPY with the outcome!
I need more practice of course.... but for my 1st ever Mesh Wreath
I think it looks pretty on my front door! :)

The Mesh has Yellow, Pink, Orange, & Purple in it, and
I tried to show a little bit of all the pretty colors -
Mesh was only $4.44 at Walmart - the Green Ring was
only $2.47 at Walmart and then the flowers that are in
Pink, White, & Purple were 99¢ each -
I had some wire & Hot Glue already - so my
Wreath only cost me about $10.75 including tax!
Now I know these wreaths cost Way more than that if you buy
one already done....So, I'm pretty excited about making a wreath
that looks nice and cost me pennies on the dollar!

I plan on making a different one I saw on You tube -
but that'll be a different post much later on! :)
