Sweet Valentine.....

Hello and Happy Monday Everyone! I hope you all
had a fabulous weekend! I sure did! I had a blast at my
crop til ya drop! In fact... I finally "Dropped" at 4am
Saturday morning! Then I went home only to have my
second wind kick in and stayed up til after 6am before finally
going to bed.... Then when I finally woke up on Saturday I
pretty much spent that day doing nothing! Talk about a
great weekend! How often does that happen? You know....
Doing nothing? LOL I managed to get 16 sets of cards completed
and now I'll get to show you some of those! Some you already
seen.... but I have yet to show you my Valentine's cards!
So this week will kick off my Valentine's cards!!! I know my
sister doesn't care for them or for any of the holidays really....
But I enjoy making them and I'm happy to share my cards
with all of you! Sooo..... let's get on with today's card!

Let me start by saying it's great to be the "BOSS"! WHY?
Because I can bring my Gypsy to work and create when
it's a slow day! And nobody can tell me ANYTHING!
Gotta LOVE that! LOL And that's basically how I created
ALL my Valentine's cards.... I have NOOOO Internet at work
so I can't check out blogs and stuff while I'm there... But having
my gypsy lets me design things and save them so when I do get home
and have a chance to create something I already have a design laid
out and I just gotta pick the papers/colors.... Which as I said before
seem to be the hardest part anyway! LOL soooo.... this card was created
while I was at work and when I got home I decided on some pretty
Valentines paper and BAM I made a card! How great is that?
Here's how I made it;

Card stock - Stampin' Up, Bo Bunny Double Dot
Designer Paper - Bo Bunny (Crazy Love)
Heart Border Punch - Stampin' Up
Embossing Folder - Provo Craft (De vine Swirls)
Stamp & Ink - Stampin' Up
Cartridges - George & Basic Shapes (Squares)
Cut @ 1" each
(Heart) Cut @ 1 1/2"
CTMH Art Philosophy (Banner)
Cut @ 3" x 1/2"

Well, that's all I have for you today! I hope you come back
on Wednesday to see my Cricut Cardz Challenge Card!
Can't wait to see you guys then! In the mean time....
Have an AWESOME DAY!!!

Wedding Card Swap.....

Hello and Happy Wednesday everyone! It's the middle of the week
already? WOW! Looking forward to Friday! It really can't come soon
enough! LOL I hope you're all having a great week so far... Mine is semi
busy as I try to work at the store and prepare for Friday night.... I'm also
in talks with moving my store! I know... Already? WHAT? It's not like
I'm getting rich or anything... but I want to move to a better location and
a better building... The place I'm at now is where the previous owner was
and at the time it was best to stay were I was... But after spending a couple
of months there during the winter.... I'm thinking it's NOT the best place to be!
The owner of the building doesn't take care of it and it really is falling
apart.... IT gets SUPER COLD in the winter and there is a
SKUNK problem that I would have to deal with come Spring......
I'm stuck here until June because of my lease...
but there is another building on Main street which would bring in
3x's as many people and the owners take care of the building....
Sooo I'm looking at that option... the rent is
$100 cheaper than what I'm paying and I really, really like the layout of
the place.... Hubby & I already looked at it once, so now I'm gonna
take my mom to see what she thinks... If I say YES! I will
have to sign an agreement with that owner so they don't rent it out....
They said they would hold it for me if I really wanted it.... I explained about
me being "stuck" in the place I'm in until June and they were very
understanding about it.... I'm actually very excited to move over there even
though it's still several months away.... I've got ideas swirling around in
my big ole' head! And the fact that it will be wayyy better for my business
is an added bonus! :o) Any who.. I guess I should talk about my project for today...
I told ya about my monthly card swap and I had this months cards
ready to go early! The theme was Wedding this month and I hadn't
showed you the card yet cause some of my Card swap friends read
my blog and I don't like them to see my cards ahead of time... So
now that we had the swap I'll share my card with all of you! :o)

The sketch is from Mojo Monday #222! I really liked the
sketch that they had and instantly came up with an idea!
I used my IMAGINE & the CCR Program to create my card...
I really like using the FREE Cricut Craft Room for designing
anything with my Imagine... It really helps with the sizing!
Here's the Speck's on my card:

Card stock, Ink - Stampin' Up
Stamp - My Creative Time (Many Greetings)
Cartridges - Vintage Papers & Heirloom as the Designer Paper
George & Basic Shapes for the Music Paper rectangle (3 3/4 x 1 1/2)
and Blue Background (4 x 5 1/4)
CTMH Art Philosophy - Scallop Shape #31 on the Overlay (2 1/2)
Circle #1 on the Overlay (2.194)
Banner (3 3/4)
Sentiment Shape #16 on the Overlay (1 1/2)
I used the "Hide Contour" Feature for the Layer of the Sentiment shape

Now the Rosette I actually created myself! I have the Ribbons & Rosettes
cartridge and I have Tim Holtz Rosette dies but I didn't use any of those
because I was looking for something a little smaller... THUS..... Making
my own Rosettes! I did use the Tim Holtz Die for the small scallop
circle to hold the rosette together! But the rosette itself was created by me
and I can't remember the size I made it... SORRY about that! I
did use my Martha Stewart Score Board to score the lines to make it...
And I believe that's all I have for today! I hope you like my wedding card...
I think it looks kind of antique... maybe that's just me? LOL
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you all have an
AWESOME DAY!!!

Baby Gift....

Hello and Happy Monday Everyone! I hope you all had
a Fabulous Weekend! We had some snow and I had a Baby
shower to attend and my boys were under the weather and I
still had some time for crafting between all the other "things"
I had to do! Was a little busy for me don't ya think? LOL
But now it's Monday and back to the work week... I do have something
to look forward too.... FRIDAY! It's our Monthly Crop til ya Drop!
We haven't had one since November and I was really tired back then because
of taking over the store that month and tons of long hours.... But now that
I've kind of settled into my work schedule I think I'll be OK for Friday night!
I've been making card sets to put together while I'm there so I should
be plenty prepared this time around!  Most of the card sets are cards that
I've already shown you... I try to make one complete card and then cut all the
pieces for the rest so they'll be super easy to put together and I can spend
more time chatting away with my friends! Ahhhh that's the way crafting
should always be anyway! LOL Well here's today's project for ya!

I told ya I had a baby shower to go to... And the "Mom to be"
knew she was having a boy.. so that made things a lot easier
when creating this gift bag & card! I keep an assortment of Gift
bags and wrapping paper on hand for any occasion that might come up...
But I also keep plain colored ones as well, so I can dress them up
accordingly! Which is what I've done here! I had to take the pictures in
my living room on the floor cause of the snowy weather... Good lighting
is soooo hard to come by these days! tehehehe

Here's the info on the bag....
Card stock - Stampin' Up, Bo Bunny Double Dot,Georgia Pacific
Designer Paper - DCWV Baby Boy Stack
Cartridges - B is for Boy (Stamp shape) Cut @ 12 1/2"
(Square shape w/rounded corners) Cut @ 9 3/4"
(BABY) Cut @ 2 1/2"
Baby Steps (Baby in Stroller) Cut @ 7 1/2"
I used my White Signo Gel Pen for some Faux Stitching
around the hat and stroller....
I also did both sides of the bag, because I don't like leaving one
side plain.... The "Mom to be" was so excited about it, that
she took one of the sides off so she can put it in her
babies "Baby Book"! AWWEEE!!! :o)

So of course I had to make the matching card....
Double AWWEE!! Right? tehehhehe
Any who... Here's the smaller specks on the card...
Card stock - Georgia Pacific, Stampin' Up, Bo Bunny
Designer Paper - DCWV Baby Boy Stack
White Signo Gel Pen
Pink Stampin' Up writer pen
Cartridges - B is for Boy (Stamp Shape) Cut @ 4 1/2 x 5
(Square Shape w/rounded corners) Cut @ 3 3/4
(BABY) Cut @ 1"
Baby Steps (Baby in Stroller) Cut @ 3"

My good friend Tanya over at Nonnascraftcorner inspired me
to make this gift set... She recently made an ADORABLE baby
girl gift set for someone and I thought why not? I was actually
just planing to use one of the pre-designed gift bags I always
keep on hand.... But I loved how hers came out and thought I
would give it a try.... Not that I haven't made gift bags in the past,
cause I have and they are posted on my blog.... I'm just to lazy to find
the links for ya right now! :o) But hers was cute and I thought that's
one bag I haven't done yet so why not! Soooo Thanks TANYA!
You got "me" to be a little creative instead of "me" being LAZY! :o)
Well That's about all I have time for today! Thanks so much
for stopping by and I hope you all have an AWESOME DAY!!!

Lemon Birthday Wishes...

Hello and Happy Wednesday Everyone! I really hope you're
all having a wonderful week so far! I've been
busy with the store... We've gotten tons of stuff
brought into us since the New Year began... People are
cleaning out closets and things so they bring us their items...
Some items have been great and sell really quickly... Other
items look like trash and apparently they think other people
will want it... NOT! Actually I think some people are just
to lazy to drive to our local dump and end up leaving it with us...
I really don't like that, cause I don't have any deals with the city
so it ends up in my trash which gets full to quickly and then I
can't even use my own trash because of the garbage they bring...
Of course I don't want to turn people away because it is donated
but it can be a real headache some of the time.... We've put ads
in the paper to let them know we will take donations of Gently Used
items... But apparently that doesn't matter... Oh well.... the In's and outs
of a Thrift Store I guess... :o) Here is my card for today!

Card stock, Ribbon, Ink - Stampin' Up
Designer Paper - DCWV (Lemon Stack)
Black Ink - Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Border Punch - Fiskars (Sunburst)
Stamp - My Creative Time (Polka Dot "Surprise")
Cartridges - George & Basic Shapes (Circles)
Cut @ 3 1/4", 3 1/2"
Celebrate w/Flourishes (Present # 23 on Overlay)
Cut @ 2 1/2"

I realized after the fact that I have a banner cut on
my cartridges but did not use it! UGH! I made them
by hand.. Oh Well Next time for sure! LOL
Well that's all I have for you today... Thanks so
much for stopping by! Have an AWESOME DAY!!!

Adlib Birthday....

Hello and Happy Monday Everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful
weekend! I was working on my Card Swap cards this weekend....
Our theme for this month is Wedding.... so I spent some time making
12 Wedding cards.... They're not due until January 19th, but at least
they're done and I don't have to worry about getting them made at the
last minute like I usually do! :o) I was designing some other cards
too, so all I have to do now is pick colors and cut things out....
Personally I think that's the hard part anyway! hahaha

Card stock, Ink, Gems - Stampin' Up
Designer Paper - Bo Bunny (Adlib)
Embossing Folder - Swiss Dots (Cuttlebug)
Stamp - My Creative Time (Gift card Sentiments)
Cartridges - Lacey Labels (Shape #18 on Overlay)
Cut @ 4 1/2" with the shadow
CTMH Art Philosophy (Shape #6 on Overlay)
Cut @ 1 1/2" with shadow

I designed this in my Gypsy using
a design I made at Thanksgiving time... I needed
something to help me get back some of my creativity...
I'm using some old card designs I've made to help
me out! :o)  I just went thru some of my Thanksgiving cards that
I liked..... And created some new themes... I think it worked out
great cause it did get my juices flowing again.... :o)

I'm also gonna put this in a Challenge! YEA!! Haven't done those
in a looooong time! Over at Birthday Sundaes - they challenge
you to use something NEW on your card!
And what's NEW on my card is the STAMP!!!

I got them for Christmas! Santa thought I was good this
year so I got a bunch of New stamps!
Thanks soooo much for stopping by today...
Have an AWESOME DAY!!!!

New Year's Challenge!

Hello and Happy Wednesday everyone! Yes! I'm BACK again!!! Well at least I'm back
to continue doing my other favorite thing.... Cricut Cardz Challenges!!!!  I've really missed taking part in these Challenge's Mary offers.... Soooo today's Challenge over at
Cricut Cardz Challenge
is to make a "Happy New Year" card using any cartridges and colors you'd like!
How great is that?
Of course I will confess to all of you that this was very difficult for me to do! I don't make
New Year's cards... EVER! Soooo this took some thinking and I'm still not happy with
how my card came out... Maybe it's from the lack of challenges and cards I've made
in recent months.... I promise my creativity will come back, it's just running a little slow!
Sooo.... Here's the not so great card I made for today's Challenge! :o)

See.... It's really not my favorite card... Kind of plain really....
I just think my brain was thinking about something else
while I tried to make this card! So Sorry! :o) I think it will
get better! Or at least I hope so! :o) Here's the specks:

Card stock - Stampin' Up
Designer Paper - Bo Bunny double Dot
Cartridges - Celebration (Celebrate) I used the Card
feature on the cartridge and cut it out @ 5"
Life's a Party (Guitar) Cut @ 3 3/4"
Lyrical Letters (2012) Jumbo Cut @ 1"
Assorted Stickles
White Dye Ink

I guess I thought everything needed to sparkle for the NEW YEAR!
Soooo that's pretty much what I did! After all the cuts and the placement
on the card, I pulled out my stickles and glittered it up.... I still
think it looks plain, it's just the way it goes sometimes!
Well, now that you've seen my card.... How about
you make a great New Year's card and I can stop by and check it out!
Head on over to Cricut Cardz and link your creation up! Don't forget
to stop by the design teams blogs... They made some
wonderful creations to get your creativity flowing!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have an AWESOME DAY!!

New Year's Birthday Wish....

Hello and Happy Monday Everyone! Yes! I'm BACK!!! Well at least I'm back
to continue doing my favorite thing.... CRAFTING!!! I know I've taken
some time off to get my Thrift Store going, and it's going really well, so I thought I
would try my best to post a little more than I have....
I can't promise anything, other than I will do my best to post
at least twice a week.... If it's more than that, that's great.... :o) I do miss everyone....
so I thought I would try to re-work my schedule so I can still be apart of the blogging
world that I LOVE so much! :o) Oh and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Geez... I get side tracked real easy! LOL
Here's a card I made over the holiday weekend!

Card stock, Ink, Oval, Scallop Punch - Stampin' Up
Designer Paper - DCWV
Stamp - MPS (Birthday Crazy)
Cartridges - Thanksgiving (Card Feature) Cut @ 5 1/2 x 8 1/2
(Layer) 5 1/2 x 3 3/8
Birthday Bash (Gifts) Cut @ 3"

This is actually a re-make of a card I made for Thanksgiving
back in 2010... I LOVED how that card came out so I thought
I would re-create it with different paper and theme!
Thanks sooo much for all of your support with my store
and my crafting! You guys are the best blogging friends anyone
could ask for! Looking forward to crafting with all of you this year!
Have an AWESOME DAY!!!
