Is he young? You bet! But the boy in question
is mature for his age and is just a great kid!

Today is a fun Challenge over at http://www.cricutcardzchallenge.blogspot.com/..... We are to make a card for a new baby using any cartridges you’d like, and the colors green, orange, yellow and white ONLY. Which was fairly easy for me to do.... especially since I LOVE making baby cards! I always make 2 for a baby girl, 2 for a baby boy, and 2 neutral for those who like to be surprised! :o) The set always seem to please just about everyone who is looking for handmade baby cards! :o)
Soooo here is my Design Team Card for ya! :o)

Just a side note on the Pearl Pin.... I got it from the plant/flower section on
Oriental Tradings Web site..... I like the idea of adding Pins to my projects,
but I don't like the needle part sticking out and
these work perfectly because they have a clear cover... :o)
So now I got a nice bag of them to add to my cards.... :o)
Now that you have seen my card
and make something for the challenge and I'll stop by to check it out!
Thanks for taking a peek,
let me know what ya think!

Falling in Circles.....

Hello and Happy Wednesday Everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Tuesday with the launch of the Brand New Imagine by Provo Craft! I have a sad confession to make! I purchased this new toy at midnight when it launched...... Then I had buyers remorse..... :o(  My hubby said for me to go ahead and get it..... He said it would be my Christmas gift.... So that's what I did... Then I went to the message board and started to read more info on this machine... and as amazing as it might be... I just realized it wasn't worth it to me to get it right now..... I mean I just bought a brand new 12 x12 Canon printer! It will be here any day! :o) So why would I want another printer? One that cost even more than the one I ordered? Why would I want a Tri-Color cartridge which is NOT cost effective than a printer that offers separate color cartridges.... How often would I really use it? I love my Expression and use it almost everyday! Honestly! :o) Soooo I went back to HSN and Canceled my order.... :o(  I told the hubby what I did and he said it was ok.... Just get it, but after thinking about all the Whys? I said NOOOO I don't NEED it right now! But a second Expression would be great for all the cuts that I do.... LOL Soooo Maybe during the after Thanksgiving sale I will get a second expression to help me with all the cuts for my cards..... We shall see!!! But... I did order the Brand new Mat's! Only because I would LOVE to see if they are better than the old ones.... And..... :o)  I did order all 3 Martha Stewart Cartridges that were on HSN! I Had a 15% coupon to go with it..... So that made me feel much better! LOL  I will say that I'm very happy for those who did get it and didn't cancel it like I did! I will continue to watch all the info on this new machine and maybe just maybe get it later on! :o) Ok... Now that I got that off of my chest, here is today's card! :o)

First off.... I want to say I had a heck of a time trying
to take pictures of this card! Why???
I don't know... Maybe cause I took the pictures
late at night? I used extra lighting... I don't know...
Sometimes I get sooo mad when I don't think the
picture comes out just right.... I'm still working on it! :o)

Card stock, Ink, Stamp (Grateful Greetings set) - Stampin' Up
Designer Paper - Papertrey Ink (Autumn Abundance) I love this paper!

Halloween Layout!!!! WHAT?????

Hello and Happy Thursday Everyone! And YES you Read that right! I have a Halloween Layout for ya today! What? You say? A Layout? Scrapper69? Theresa? Yup ME!!!!! :o) I started Scrapbooking 12 years ago when my oldest was 5 yrs. old and starting Kindergarten.... I wanted to be apart of everything he did back then and joined the PTA.... I was the Schools Historian and had noooooo clue what the heck I was doing! I had a friend give me a few pointers and there I was with a camera taking pictures of students and buying supplies for the pages.... Now mind you... 12 years ago they had the WORST possible supplies for scrapbookers.... It has come a long way since then.... THANK GOODNESS!!!!
I started Card making only 4 years ago.... and LOVE it! I haven't scrapbooked a page in about 2 years... I know it's been awhile.... But I have gone Digital with it.... I love being able to pick out designs and colors on my digital program and placing photo's where I like them to be.... Then all I do is print them out, on my wonderful Canon printer.... I bought this particular printer just so I can print my 12 x 12 layouts... It is much faster than the traditional way.... And I know a lot of you prefer the old fashion way and that's great! Today's Layout is made that same way and I hope you like it! Maybe one of these days I'll throw a Digital page up here and show it to you! On with my Layout!!!! :o)

(This is a 12 x 12 Layout)
Card stock - Black, Pumpkin Pie, Kiwi Kiss,
Crushed Curry, Lavender Lace (Stampin' Up)
Designer Paper - Finished in a Flash Halloween Kit (Hot off the Press)
Cartridges - Lacy Labels (Scallop Border) cut
@ 11 1/2" x 11 1/2" using my Design Studio
Celebrate with Flourishes (Title) Cut @ 3 1/2" and (Tree) Cut @ 7" I used all the features for the Happy Halloween Title and did some inking around the Purple parts... On the Tree I used all the features as well and inked the Moon and the Orange Shadow.... I used my Zig Glue pen for the crow then added some glitter for a little sparkle... I also added Dimensionals for the Tree and Title to make them pop up a little bit....
The photo is of my Youngest son who was 3 1/2 at the time...
This will be a 2 page layout... I was just pressed for time... Normally I have things done ahead of time, but the 4 days off has thrown my whole schedule out of whack and I hope to be back to normal by Monday! :o) Thanks for taking a peek, let me know what ya think!
Miislucky should be here tomorrow with something new...
Enjoy the rest of your week!

They are real tasty though.... They taste more like a cake than a bread... It will be a LOOONNNGGG Time before I want to make this bread again!
On with the card!!!!!

Here is my Card for today!!!! Finally!!!
Thanks for reading this far! :o)
This card was made with (3) cartridges...
All Card stock and Ink (Stampin' Up)
Designer Paper (K&Co)
(Happy Haunting) cut @ 1 1/4" from the Happy Hauntings Cartridge Pg.46
(All of the colored circles) cut @ 1 1/4" from George & Basic Shapes
(9 Spooky Characters) cut @ 1 1/4" from the Pumpkin Carving Seasonal Cartridge
NOTE: ALL 9 Characters were cut out with Core'dinations Black Magic CS

And of course a side view.... To show the Dimensionals that I used.....
I was going to cut them out (2x's each) but they are soooo small and they were hard to cut
at that size, that I thought I better just stick to (1 cut) :o)
Well as I said... I have a very busy day ahead of me,
laundry, packing and such.... I will be gone all weekend and
I should have a Fall card posted on Monday for ya..... It's a pre-post....
I hope you all have a WONDERFUL LABOR DAY WEEKEND!!!
Miislucky should have something to show you!
Thanks for taking a peek, let me know what ya think!
