Java Great Day!

Hello and Happy Wednesday Crafty Friends!
I've been playing along with the
Since Saturday and I've really been enjoying it!

This is my last card for the hop - I know there is
still time to make more, but I'm happy with the
few cards I've already made! Maybe for the
Fall/Winter Hop I'll have way more done and
ready to share! :)

Here's my Last Coffee Card --

I think this turned out awesome! I had fun playing with
the Jaded Blossom (Java Time) Stamp set

I used some Memento Rich Cocoa & Desert Sand ink
for my Coffee Bean Background -
I die cut it out with a Stitched Rectangle Die

Then grabbed a piece of Doodlebug Dotted Paper
and cut a 3/4" strip for the front of my card
Then I picked a piece of Dark Red Scrap Cardstock
and die cut the scallop border die from the
My Creative Time (Fun Stitched Edges)

I used some Annie's Paper Boutique (Trendy Twine) in Krafty Red
wrapping it around the card front - then making a quadruple bow

I used my Zig Real Brush pens to color up the sweet
girl holding her cup of coffee and I used my clear
Wink of Stella glitter pen on her headband and cup
The Smile sentiment was stamped on with some
Memento Rich Cocoa ink and I die cut the
sentiment out with the Mini Tag Dies 2 from Jaded Blossom

This will be great to send off to a crafty friend!

Have a FABULOUS DAY!

Espresso Hello...

Hello & Happy Monday Everyone!
Happy Memorial day as well!!
I hope you're all having a wonderful weekend
with Friends and family -

I've been enjoying it by making some coffee
cards - not something I normally do -
But have to say it's been fun! :)

I'm playing along with the

I don't own tons of coffee Stamps and dies (YET) -
So I'm using what I do have and the
Coffee Break Stamp & Die Set from My Creative Time
is a Wonderful Set to get you started or add to your collection!

The Large background splatter is from Super Sponsor
Your Next Stamp - It's one of my favorite splatter stamps!
I stamped it in Memento Rich Cocoa & in Lady Bug Red
Then I die cut it out with a Wonky Stitch Die

I stamped & die cut all the pieces to make the coffee cup -
and then added some Krafty Red Trendy Twine from
Annie's Paper Boutique to make my cute bow -

I wanted a simple sentiment, so I grabbed the
Jaded Blossom - Java Time Stamp set and
stamped a simple Hello Sentiment so I could mail
this off to a crafty friend! Then I added some
Bling just to tie everything together!

Have a FANTASTIC DAY!!!

Coffee, Coffee, Coffee....

Hello & Happy Sunday Everyone!
I'm back again with another Fun
 Coffee card for the

This was so fun to create!

I pulled out the "Coffee" Word die from
the Coffee Break stamp set that I got from
My Creative Time and die cut it out 8 times in
a coffee brown colored cardstock with some
Stick it adhesive on the back - then
I cut it out 3 more times in the teal blue colored cardstock
with some Stick it adhesive on the back for layering
on top of each other -

I laid the words across my white card front to see where
everything would lay and then started to adhere everything down
Anything that hung over the white card front was cut off
I attached some Fun Foam to the back and then attached the
card front down to my teal blue card base!

I wanted to highlight the Teal Blue Coffee Word
so I die cut a small coffee cup from the
Jaded Blossom Coffee Dies Set and
added a small button with some Jute Twine
to tie the whole thing together!

I just LOVE how this turned out!!!

Have a FABULOUS DAY!!!

Butterfly Birthday...

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
Today's my day to take over the blog at:

Today I thought I would share a Butterfly Birthday -

I made myself another rainbow card! Since I already
had the items out from the last rainbow card I made
I thought I could make a second one at the same time!

So I used a scrap piece of Canson Watercolor paper
and some of my Distress Oxides
- All I did was blend an assortment of Distress Oxides
onto the watercolor paper then added a few drops of
water here & there and then dried it with my heat tool.

I also took a strip of black & white Designer Paper
from Doodlebug and layered the 2 pieces
onto my 110lb. Recollections White Cardbase

I already had the butterflies completed when I
made my last Rainbow card - I used the
Beautiful Raisin Boat Stamp set called (IMAGINE)
I just Popped them up on my card with some
Dimensional Foam Dots...

The Happy Birthday Sentiment is a Victorine
Originals Stamp and I really like how it
fills out the bottom portion of my card!

I then added some pretty Ice cube Jewels from Lucy's cards
to complete the design... and now it's ready to be
used for someone's birthday!!!

I also wanted to share the inside of my card with you -
I like having the insides completed at the same time as
the outside - This way it's ready to go when I need it!
I'm using another Victorine Originals Sentiment -
This one is called (Very best of birthdays)
and I just cut a strip of the rainbow paper I made
just to tie it all together!!!

Summertime Caterpillar....

Hello & Happy Wednesday Crafty Friends!!!
Tomorrow is Officially the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!! YAY
So, I'm super busy this week and wanted to make this
post-Short & Sweet! I'm trying to break up
all the Graduation Card posts and thought I
would share one of the wood projects I made
over the weekend!!! I'm so Happy with how
all of them came out!!! :)

Isn't it Super CUTE??? I think it's adorable!!!

I got the Plain Wooden Caterpillar from my local
Wood store and painted it in Fun Bright
Summer colors - Then I grabbed some of my
Doodlebug Summer Papers and added them to the front
with some Mod Podge to adhere them down
I had to use some wood glue on 2 of the circles
since they were stand out pieces ( I pre-sanded these pieces)
then I sanded the rest and did some inking around
all the edges to give it a nice finished look -

I purchased some thick wire at my local hardware
store and curled up the antennas with needle nose pliers
And hot glued them into the predrilled holes

Then I added some ribbon that was in my stash
along with a googly eye -
Then I added some assorted adhesive gems to match
the bright colors and that was it!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a FANTASTIC DAY!!!
