Smiling Gnomey...

Happy Wednesday to ya! EEK! I can't believe
the week is 1/2 over already! Tomorrow is actually
my very last day of work! (inserting saddest face ever!)

I will miss the students (Who have been MIA since March!)
And my fellow co-workers - I've made friendships with
several of them and my heart hurts to know I will not see
them on a daily basis - My new life adventure starts this weekend
and I'm excited and nervous all at the same time -

Tomorrow is actually my oldest son's birthday -
and I made this card just for him - I'm using another
wonderful Digital Stamp set from Polka Dot Orchard

I'm using the Gypsy Floral Mockup Background again!

Isn't this guy adorable?  Such a cute image!
I'm using the Gnome Matter What Digital Stamp set

Gnomes are very IN right now! hahaha so I HAD to have this
super cute set!
I colored up my Gnome with an assortment of Alcohol Markers
and added some dots & lines with a Signo White Gel pen
The Sentiment is from Petals for the Pittmans Mini Set (Unfortunately it's retired)
But I had to use that sweet sentiment on my card -

Cardstock - Neenah Solar White
Designer Paper - Doodlebug
Stitched Rectangle Frame die - My Creative Time
Scallop Frame Die & Label Die - CDD (no longer in business)
Slanted Banner Die - My Favorite Things

Have a Spectacular Day!!

Heart Happy...

Hello Everyone! Happy back to work day! LOL
I got back yesterday evening and we didn't get as
much accomplished as we would have liked.

Plus we ran into a few snags involving "other"
family members -  I don't want to get into
the details but they don't look good for my sister at this point
of placing her tiny home over by where we're moving -
honestly, I'm not understanding what the issues are...

My husband's parents are okay with it but there are
"other" powers that be which are involved and we're trying
to find a fair reasonable solution -  It's a headache & mess

Anywho - I have a happy card to share with you
because I need a little happy right now!

I made this using an alcohol inked background I had
sitting here on my desk along with a "Smile" die
I added a black & white embossed strip I created awhile ago
and a black strip with a sweet sentiment embossed in white -
I used extra pieces of the alcohol paper and a tiny heart punch
to add just a little extra love on my card!

It turned out so sweet! I shared the leftover Smile word pieces with you
last week on THIS CARD.

Have a Beautiful Day!

Smile... You're Awesome

Happy weekend everyone!
I'll be heading out of town today to go work
on the other house - Wish me luck!

In the meantime, I thought I would share
a sweet Smile card with you -

I had some leftover craft items from other projects I made
and wanted to use them up, so I created this card -

The 3D stickers are leftover from my Thanks cards I shared on Monday
The Smile word is leftover from another project I haven't shared as yet
and the designer paper is leftover paper in my extras stash bag

I think it turned out really nice and look forward to mailing it off!

Have a great weekend!

Sending Smiles....

Hello and Happy Thursday Wonderful Crafters!
I hope your week has been going well so far -
Mine has been busy with work and preparing for
my trip tomorrow with my Sister - (I can't wait) :)

All this week I'm showcasing some digital stamps
I got from my Awesome crafty friend Jessica over at:

She's been working hard at making new digi's and I just think
they're wonderful!

Here's a sweet Springtime card I made --

Even though it's the end of May (Can you believe it?)
And it's like 95 degrees outside for me - it's still
technically Spring until June 20th - So I had to
throw in another Springtime card for ya!

I'm using the Bee Hoppy digital stamp set
for the background image and I'm using the
Springtime Smiles Digital stamp set for my sentiment

I created a simple rectangle border around my image and lightly
colored it with some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink
Then colored my images in with some Alcohol Markers
I used a Stitched Frame die to add some character and then
added some clear tiny gems on some of the flowers -
Popped the card front up with some Fun Foam and
placed it on a yellow card base -

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a Fabulous Day!!

Java Great Day!

Hello and Happy Wednesday Crafty Friends!
I've been playing along with the
Since Saturday and I've really been enjoying it!

This is my last card for the hop - I know there is
still time to make more, but I'm happy with the
few cards I've already made! Maybe for the
Fall/Winter Hop I'll have way more done and
ready to share! :)

Here's my Last Coffee Card --

I think this turned out awesome! I had fun playing with
the Jaded Blossom (Java Time) Stamp set

I used some Memento Rich Cocoa & Desert Sand ink
for my Coffee Bean Background -
I die cut it out with a Stitched Rectangle Die

Then grabbed a piece of Doodlebug Dotted Paper
and cut a 3/4" strip for the front of my card
Then I picked a piece of Dark Red Scrap Cardstock
and die cut the scallop border die from the
My Creative Time (Fun Stitched Edges)

I used some Annie's Paper Boutique (Trendy Twine) in Krafty Red
wrapping it around the card front - then making a quadruple bow

I used my Zig Real Brush pens to color up the sweet
girl holding her cup of coffee and I used my clear
Wink of Stella glitter pen on her headband and cup
The Smile sentiment was stamped on with some
Memento Rich Cocoa ink and I die cut the
sentiment out with the Mini Tag Dies 2 from Jaded Blossom

This will be great to send off to a crafty friend!

Have a FABULOUS DAY!
