Lots to tell ya!!!

Hello and Happy Sunday Everyone! I'm so sorry that I've been gone awhile....
I've been sooo busy lately
that I just haven't had time to visit blogs or craft!
I showed you one of the reasons last week with
the crate I made for a friend of mine....
Then I had 3 friends with
birthdays, so I HAD to create something for them...

I've also been learning how to make bread!
I know some of you would say....
Geez Theresa.... It's EASY! Go to the store....
Buy a loaf.... And BAM you've got bread! LOL
But I thought I would try the old fashion way.....
By making it from scratch! I've made several loaves
already, but they really haven't come out the way that I want...
So I'm gonna keep practicing until
I get it just right! Then... maybe I'll post that for ya!

I've been working a lot because my moms on vacation....
I'm training a couple of friends of mine to help take care
of my store.... WHY? Well.... My husband & I  are
getting ready to celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary!  We're going on a trip!
We've been planning this for awhile now and it's
about to happen any day now, so I've just been
really busy trying to get as much done before we leave.....
I'm soooo super excited and can't wait to go....
And thought I should share my happy news with you....
as to why I've been gone so long.... :o) I won't be back until
mid October..... Soooo... I thought I would post something
for you today.... :o)

These are little bags I made for
2 of my friends who had a birthday!
1 is filled with scrapping supplies while the
other is filled with cards! I also baked a cake
for another friend of mine..... Busy, busy, busy!
I used Tags, Bags, Boxes & more for them....
I also used Tim Holtz Rosette Dies.....

I made this using My Digital Studio &
My Silhouette!
I designed it first in MDS then I transferred
the files over to the Silhouette and it
printed then cut out the pieces for me!
I thought it turned out to be a great
masculine card! :o)

Well.... that's all I have for today!! I've been thinking
about all my blogging friends lately & how much I miss going to your blogs to see your wonderful creations.... :o)
Once I get back... I'll be able to do that again!
Enjoy the rest of your Afternoon and I'll see
ya in a couple of weeks!
HAVE AN AWESOME DAY!!!!

Baby Dino Gift set.....

WARNING: LOTS OF PHOTOS!!!!

Hello and Happy Monday Everyone! Sorry I've been
MIA lately... I've been so busy with work & Life!
I was working on some projects to...
and there just weren't enough
hours in the day did get stuff done! :o)
So I had to let somethings suffer...

I thought I would post something today to show
you what I've been working on... One of my
really sweet, good friends was pregnant....
Baby #8 for her! All I can say is WOW to that! :o)
Any who.... She said it was her last baby and knew
it was a baby girl... That's when I stepped in with
an idea.... A couple of weeks ago I got 3 brand
new lite cartridges.... that I showed you.... Well
one of those cartridges was my inspiration
for what I'm about to show you!

This is the card I created for her!
As soon as I saw the (DINO PLAY) Cartridge
and looked at this image.... I knew what I
wanted to do! I know a Dino for a girl???
Hey.... Why not? Right? :o)
The design from my card was inspired by
my wonderful blogging friend AMY!
She sent me a fabulous "Thank You"
card awhile back and I LOVED IT!!!

I had to add an action wobble, just to
make it more fun! I used my Imagine to
flood fill the rosette and parts of
the baby dino....

Since this ended up being a heavy card...
I add support by put CS on both
sides on the inside.....

Then I had another idea!! I found this really
nice wood crate out in my storage unit...
and though... hummmm.... I could
totally decorate this and put her gifts inside....
Sooo.... I took some time painting it.... Trying
to make it match the paper I was gonna use....

Forgot that I bought this 12 x 24 paper pad by
K & Co. a looong time ago.... So glad I
still had it... :o) I used Scotch Quick Dry
Adhesive to attach the paper to the wood...

Then I thought it could use a little sanding
so it would blend together better....

Now comes the part where I added all
kinds of CUTE Baby Dino's and
Rosettes.... Used different baby
stamp sentiments as well.....
This is side 1....

On both ends I wanted some type
of scenery to group it all together...
So I designed this while at work one day....
Good thing the "Boss" didn't see me.... LOL
(Both ends are exactly the same)

This is the other side of the box...
with more CUTE Baby Dino's and
rosettes..... I added bows and wiggly
eyes to all the dino's.....

Here is the final product!!! I went a little
"BABY" crazy... so not everything fit in
the box.... So of course I made some
more Dino's.... this time in bigger sizes....

On these,  I added gems, just to
fancy them up a little bit more....

Here' s a close up of the other package....
This project took me some time to
do... but was sooo worth it!
I LOVE how everything turned out and
so did my girlfriend!!!! Which made me
thrilled to no end! I'm also happy to report that
Saturday night, she gave birth to a GORGEOUS
7lb. Baby girl... I live down the street from our
hospital and she gave me a call, so I went to go
meet my newest little friend! She's sooooo
stinkin' CUTE!!!! :o)

Anyway... thanks so much for stopping by!
Have an AWESOME DAY!!!

Perfect Love.....

Hello and Happy Friday everyone! For a short week I'm soooo
tired and thankful it's the weekend! I've been trying for the past 2
weeks to get the Fall/Holiday stuff out..... We stopped taking
donations during that time to try and do the switch over.... Of course
there is still a little more yet to do but I think I got most of it done...
Then we've been trying to move our storage units around... I was trying to
go down to 2 units.... but I don't think it's possible at this time... In fact
after being out there last night... it looks like one of the units will have
only Christmas stuff in it! OMGOSH!! We have a ton of Christmas stuff
to sell! I don't even know where I would fit it all at the store! LOL
I guess a little at a time... :o)

I hope the video I made helps those of you who use
MDS or MDS 2 and have a cutting machine.... It really is a lot of fun to use
both programs together... Today I have another MDS Card for ya....
It's the other one from the video.... I thought I would just post
the finshed product.... Here ya go....

I popped up 2 of the circles and added some pearls to it....
Very quick and simple... Which I LOVE!!! :O)

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hopefully I'll
get to hit up some of my favorite blogs this weekend!
In the mean time have an AWESOME DAY!!!

And I'm noooo expert or anything but thought I would
share what I know so far with using both programs.....

Here's the video I created... Sorry about the quality but I've
only made 2 other videos and I'm not that good at
making them yet! :o)

Here is the final product of the card I created using
MDS 2 and my Cameo...
