Record label....

Hello and Happy Monday Everyone!  It has been the craziest 2 weeks ever!
I've been working like a mad woman! This weekend was Pioneer Days here in Utah!
And we had tons of people coming to town visiting their families and such...
So work was exhausting but AWESOME! :o)
Any who....

My son Juston is in a band!  And guess what??? I've never
heard them play! EVER! I know that sounds terrible to say....
But I work a lot and most of the time when they play I'm at work
so I never get to see them or hear them... :o(

Well.... Friday was a talent contest for Pioneer Days and they
were to pick the top 3 to play for Saturday's Pioneer Days in the park and
each of the winners receive a cash prize....
Juston's band was picked in the top 3! YAAAY! When he came home
to tell me what happened.. I was sooo excited for him!
He got to play on his Birthday! How cool is that! :o)

And guess what else??? I actually got to see them PLAY! YAY for me!
I had to work Saturday of course... But I asked my mom to
watch the store so I could watch him for just a little bit...
Here are some pictures of them on stage:

Ryan, Gunner, Remi, Juston

My Baby!!! :o)

The boys playing their hearts out!

They were able to play for an hour and play any songs
they wanted! The boys had a blast! I got to watch them
for about a 1/2 hour.... They really sounded amazing!
So glad I got to finally see him play!

Now... with the past 2 weeks being crazy busy
for me... I had to find time to make my son
a Birthday card! I wanted it to represent HIM
and what he is doing now! Soooo
here's what I came up with!

I found the Record and the Bass with Amp
at the Silhouette Store!
I welded the Record together
the Digital Designer Paper is from Echo park
"All about Boy"
Baker's twine to make the plug from the bass to the amp.
And the bow
I wrote "18th Birthday Records" and on the inside
I wrote "I hope your 18th Birthday Rocks like no other"
I used a white gel pen and glossy accents in some spots...

He liked my card a lot.... Which is what I was hoping for!
Anyway.... Thanks so much for stopping by and listening
to me ramble on!
Have an AWESOME ROCKIN' DAY!!!!

I used the "Print" Faux stitching on my project!
This card was created for my SIL, who has a birthday
this week.... I thought she might like to receive a
"Step Card" for a change from me! :o) She recently started
card making and loves it.... So I'm sure whatever I send her
would put a smile on her face! :o)

Everything is printed and cut out using my Silhouette
Card Stock, Ink, Pearls, Markers - Stampin' Up
Black Bakers Twine
Purple Buttons - Papertrey Ink
Yellow Stickles
Designer Digital Paper - Echo Park

So, now that you've seen what I created... It's your turn

Great projects you can make with "Faux Stitching" using
your Silhouette... Try the Pen feature.... that would look cool!

Happy Birthday Lego's.....

Hello and Happy Monday Morning to ya! I hope you all had a
great weekend! Mine was busy with work and monthly grocery shopping.
I did, however get a chance to sit down for about an hour to create something!
So, YEA for me! Right? LOL I guess an hour is way better than no craft time! :o)

This weeks, weekly Challenge over at the Silhouette America Blog
is to create something using CIRCLES!!!!
I LOVE CIRCLES! So here's what I created!

I LOVE how this turned out! :o)
My youngest boy has a "Best Friend" who
LOOOVVEESS LEGO'S!!! Sooo I thought
it would be super "COOL" to create a Lego Card for him!

I created everything in my Silhouette Program....
Card stock, Ink - Stampin' Up
Digital Designer Paper - Echo Park (Jessica Sprague Site)
Black Button - Papertrey Ink
Red Baker's Twine
Silhouette Store -  Medallion Ribbon Set
Lego's were made using the Shapes on my Tool Bar!

Operation Write Home is challenging everyone to create
a Lego card... They even have a tutorial on how to make them.

Well... I hope you like my Lego Card! I know my
son did and he can't wait for his friend to see it!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have an AWESOME DAY!!!

Little Ladybug.....

Hello and Happy Thursday Everyone!
I thought I would share another Layout I created for my Customer....
This layout is one of my Favorites so far.... I designed it in my Gypsy
and when I went to cut things out.... I had a hard time deciding on
what colors and paper to use.... even though I had it in my head
what I wanted to do... Isn't it funny when you picture something
and you go to find the paper in your LARGE STASH... It's just not there?
CRAZY! I tell ya... Crazy! :o) Any way.... here's my Layout.....

Card stock - Bo Bunny Double Dot, Stampin' Up, Georgia Pacific
Designer Paper - Echo Park, Stampin' Up, Recollections
Ribbons - Stampin' Up
Border Punch - Martha Stewart
Flowers - Spare Parts
Cricut Cartridges - (Title) Cricut Alphabet
(Ladybugs) Doodlecharms
(Ladybugs in Grass) Kate's ABC's
(Shape for writing) - Art Philosophy

The only part I forgot to do as yet... is add some doodling
I have plans to do that... I just didn't when I took this picture...
I also planned to add some gems or tiny googly eyes...
I haven't decided which yet.... But I do like it for the most part!

After I got it together.... I said YES! This is what I saw in my head!
So, yeah.. this is my favorite Layout! LOL

Thanks for stopping by and taking a looking!
Have an AWESOME DAY!!!

Ready to Soar...

Hello and Happy Monday Morning Everyone! Sorry I was MIA these past 2 weeks....
It's been crazy, and  I've spent a lot more time than even I would like to at my store!
I believe I should be back to "somewhat" normal again very soon....
My Sale was busy and a HUGE hit! I Love it when that happens! :o)
So we are following up with a couple more sales throughout July....
We have Pioneer Days towards the end of July, which will be
crazy busy yet again, so I think once I get past that I should
be back to some kind of crafting/blogging schedule! :o)
So if you could just bare with me until I get through it :o)

I have a project for you today that I created for my
son's friend who graduated H.S. in early June....
My son went down to Vegas to visit him and attend
his Graduation party and of course I couldn't let
him go without one of my cards to give his friend! :o)

I used  Lori Whitlock's - Scalloped Center Step Card
3D Hot Air Balloon
Banner
All from the Silhouette Store

I used the Print and Cut Feature for the Designer Papers
Carta Bella - Well Traveled (Jessica Sprague Site)
(Ready to Soar....) Computer Generated

I reconfigured the shape to make an inside
layer for my Sentiment.... This took a little
time, but well worth the results!

The Weekly Silhouette Blog Challenge is challenging
everyone with a Silhouette Machine to make something
with a 3D Shape! I thought this card fit the bill to a T!

Over at Jo's Scrap Shack the Challenge is Anything Goes!

Over at Through the Craft room Door the Challenge is Anything Goes!

Over at 2 Creative Chicks the Challenge is 3D!

Well... that's all I have for today! Thanks so much for
stopping by! I really appreciate it!
Have an AWESOME DAY!!!
