Snowy Wishes...

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
Can you believe tomorrow is December 1st!! EEK!!
It's hard to believe it's the end of the year already!
I swear I don't know where the time goes!

Well, all my holiday cards have been done for awhile
now, they are ready to go in the mail tomorrow!
I know you all are like WHAT? But I think that
Challenge I gave myself really worked and I still can't
believe they're all done! In fact...
I'm already starting on Next years batch!! OMGOSH!!

I think I've got at least 12 to 15 done and ready for next year!
I told my Hubby that I think I'll have the new batch done by July!
Hahaha - That would be crazy... But Possible! (Wink Wink)

Here's one of the new Holiday cards for next year!

I adore Snowmen, so I went with this CUTE Victorine Originals
Stamp called Happy Snowman (2991-J)
I masked off my snowman image so I could add some Broken China
Distress Ink & Some Tumbled Glass Distress ink, to give it that
wintry look - I colored him all up with some Zig Real brush pens
and used a White Signo Gel Pen for the spots of snow --

The sentiment (Happy Holidays) is from Raisin Boat
Called Elves are Watching - That set is so CUTE!
I added some Pretty Snowflakes & Gems to add a touch
of Holiday Sparkle!

And you know I HAD to do the inside as well - If I don't then
I'd be Back tracking having to get them done -
Seems silly not to just get them done while I'm making my card!

So I Pulled out another wonderful Sentiment from
Victorine Originals this one is called

I really like that SumMore Fun Stamps have
the sentiments individually - WHY? Because sometimes
I only like certain sentiments in a stamp set - and so I only
use the ones I want and pay more for an entire set that I won't use - UGH!
This way - I get to chose which sentiment I want to use & Keep
it in my stash - Win Win for me anyway!!! LOL

We still have our Challenge going on over at

Our Mood Board is - LET IT SNOW

You can follow the Theme or Use the inspiration photo
or Use the color combo all use all 3!!! You don't have to use
a stamp from Victorine Originals if you don't have one!

All the rules for this fun challenge are RIGHT HERE!

The Challenge ends Wednesday, DEC. 6th
So make sure to join us!

Celebrate the Season..

Happy Wednesday Everyone!
Thanks for the sweet comments yesterday!
My back does still hurt, but my Hip
hurts a bit more than my back does...
It sucks getting Older! Hahaha

I've got Tylenol & Ibuprofen to help me out!
And of course my Method of "Walking it off"!

I have a million things to do, so it won't stop me
well... it may a little (wink wink)

I thought I would share another project I made
back in the Early part of October when I went to
that Holiday Kit Class --

This is the project we were to make --

It's a lovely card with a hint of sparkle, the papers
are classic colors --

Here's my version of it --

I started off with a Darker card base - The original card
had a soft grey and it was a thin card stock piece --
Then I used Stitched banner dies on mine to give
it some character - I also placed my banners
differently than the original - I used a stitched circle
die & different sentiment for mine
and I use a stitched rectangle die as well -
The original card has some red gems - I chose to
use my Red & Silver Glitter Nuvo Drops & a couple
of tiny Adhesive Gems --

All in all both are great cards - But I'm more
partial to mine! hahaha

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Have a FABULOUS DAY!!!

Story & Winners!!!

Hello & Happy Tuesday Fellow Crafters!
How was your Thanksgiving? Did you spend time
with Family & Friends? or go get some Shopping done?
Or Both? Well, for me... I spent some time resting! LOL

First of all, My oldest didn't spend Thanksgiving with us
since he spent it with us last year when my other
son came home on leave -
We had a Thanksgiving/Christmas then --
This year he spent it with his girlfriends family
so there were only 4 of us home - Nice & QUIET!!

But, the day before Thanksgiving I went to work
for a few hours and as I was bending over to
clean my shoe, I felt a whole bunch of pain!! UGH

Apparently I pulled my back & Hip out at the same time!
OMGOSH! SERIOUSLY? I was just about finished with
work, but needed to get a couple more things done...
and I was like WHAT just HAPPENED?? GRR!!
I managed to finish the job.... slowly.. but finished...
then went home to try and fix this --

Of course I am one of "THOSE" people who
believe that if you're NOT Bleeding or Have any
broken bones - you just WALK IT OFF!
Well... walking was loads of fun & painful....
But I did pop a few pills to help relieve some of the pain
which helped and so I spent my weekend
getting some crafting done (that I really need to)
and resting my poor body!

As of today, I'm still in pain with my hip -
loads of fun trying to work...
but I'm WALKING IT OFF!!! LOL

I know this too shall pass!! We did have a nice
Thanksgiving dinner and lots of leftovers -
and I got to order myself a new Phone! YAY!!
My family said it was about time --
It'll be here Friday! :) I still have some projects
I would like to get done, so I hope by the end of this
week I can tackle everything I want! :)

I've decided to just announce the  winner
of the CTMH SNOW Friends Stamp set

because I want everyone to receive there prizes and
we all know the post offices has a lot on their plate
right now! But I do have a couple more extra's to giveaway
come January!!

Have a FABULOUS DAY!!!

SumMore Fun - Mood Board Challenge #16

Hello & Happy Friday Everyone!
Today... starts another FUN Challenge over at:

 YAY! I know how you
guys enjoy a good Challenge!

Our Mood Board is LET IT SNOW -

You can use the Mood Board or go by the Theme
or Use the color combo or Use all 3!!! You don't have to use
a stamp from SumMore Fun if you don't have one!

All the rules for this fun challenge are RIGHT HERE!

Here's what I created to inspire you --

I wanted to use the Theme and some of the photo's
that are on the Mood Board --

I'm using the lovely ELK SILHOUETTE IN SNOW Stamp
This is a really good sized stamp and makes
a great Focal Point on my Holiday card -

YUP! This is a 2 for 1 card!! Hahaha
I got my Challenge post done & made another Holiday card
You couldn't ask for a better plan! tehehehe

It was a Challenge to take a picture of this card- there
is a lot of foil going on - it's very elegant in person!

I had to make several attempts at this card before I finally got one
to foil correctly! YUP! Lots of wasted foil! I don't have a
Laser Printer, so I had to figure out a different method for foiling
with my stamp - I tried Clear Embossing, Heat & Stick Powder,
Bonding Powder, and FINALLY GLUE! Ding, Ding, Ding!

I used the Essential Glue Pad and inked up my stamp with it
using my Misti - Then I attached a piece of
Blue/Silver Minc Foil - I then put it through my
Laminator 2x's in between a piece of parchment paper
then let it cool completely before revealing the fine details!
I was doing a HAPPY DANCE, when this one came out!

I then trimmed a piece of Blue Foil Cardstock down to
4 x 5 1/4 and added some Fun Foam to the back of my
Foil Stamped Image - attached those 2 pieces together -
Then attached them to my White Card Base -
Since the foil has Blue & Silver - I wanted my sentiment
to be Silver - So I Die Cut the (Merry Christmas) die from
Elizabeth Dies with some Neenah Metallic Silver Cardstock
3'xs so the words would POP on my card -

I really LOVE the look of this card - The foil just
shines and the classic colors give it an Elegant Style!

I hope you guys can join us --
I would LOVE to see what you create!

SumMore Fun Christmas Wishes...

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
Today's my day to take over the blog at:
YAY for me... 🙌

I thought I would show you a Whimsical
Christmas card!

Super Simple CAS Style card! I'm using the
(POLKA DOTTED CHRISTMAS TREE) and the
(CHRISTMAS BORDERS SET - 10508-X) -- (Candy Cane Design)
I actually heat embossed them both, one in Red &
the other in Green --
I used an assortment of Glitter Nuvo drops & some clear
adhesive gems to decorate my sweet tree!
The Nuvo drops really add Dimension!

I was trying to get a picture to show you the shine from
the embossing I did -

I used a Pretty Pink Posh Scallop Border die
to add a little whimsy to my card front!
And then topped it off with a lovely
sentiment stamp called (CHRISTMAS WISHES - 74777-B)
I popped my card front to some fun foam, then attached it
to my Hunter Green Card base --

I'm also sharing the inside of my card - I try to
incorporate something from the front of my card
to the inside, just so it's all tied together!

Nothing Fancy of course... But I used the
my trimming & the
Stamp set for my inside sentiment - I really like this
sentiment - It has some Elegance with a really pretty saying...

Golden Bulbs....

Hello & Happy Tuesday Everyone!
I have a reminder for ya and a project to share!

The reminder is for my GIVEAWAYS -
I have 2 Brand New Fiskar Stamp Sets that I'm giving
away to 2 of my AWESOME FOLLOWERS
Here's the Link to that Post -- CLICK HERE!!!
It Ends tonight and the winners will be announced TOMORROW!!

And Now I have a lovely Project to share with you --
I went to a Holiday Card Kit Class back in
Early October, and the wonderful crafty gal in
Charge gave us 9 projects to make - everything was cut
for us, all we had to do was follow her original project -

I liked the projects, but needed to make them more
"ME" - You know more my style - They were all
very simple cards, but I knew they could use a
little more this & that! :)

So, here's another one of her cards --

The Embossing folder on this one is sooo CUTE!
Of course I thought it was a little too plain for me
so I made this one instead --

I went ahead and added more COLOR to mine - You guys know
how much I like color! :) So I colored in all the Embossed Bulbs
with my Spectrum Noir Gold Glitter pen -
Then I stamped 2 ornaments & added some
Trendy Twine Bows - I used my Clear wink of Stella pen on them and
added a clear gem in the center of the one ornament
Her sentiment was very plain to me so I Used my
Merry Christmas Die and die cut the words out in Gold Cardstock
3x's of course to make it POP!
I also prefer Top Folding cards, and all of her cards were
side folds, so I changed that as well!

I really like how mine turned out - More color just
makes me happy! :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Thankful for you ---

Hello & Happy Monday Everyone!
How was your weekend? Mine was
WONDERFUL! Got ALL my Christmas
Decor Up and my house looks so festive! EEK!
I still have a few Christmas Projects I want to make
though - so that'll happen this week with our
Thanksgiving break!
I have to work today & tomorrow, so that'll
give me the rest of the week to create! YES!!!
I will go to work Wednesday for a little bit
and maybe Friday - I'm not on Salary, so I need
to make sure I get my weekly hours for that Paycheck! 💰

As you guys know I work at an Elementry school
and I'm the head Custodian - (I LOVE My Job)
but with any job there are headaches! Like HOW
Many hours I'm allowed each week - GRRR

Since I can't get everything done that they want
I've got a Wonderful group of 5th graders who are helping
keep the school running - They take the trash throughout
the school for me every day before they go home -
And because they are doing this, I thought I would
bring them a treat every month as a surprise (THANK YOU)

With this being the month of reflection - What we are
Thankful for - Of course waking up every day
is a blessing to me, then comes having my
AWESOME Family, and so many other things --
My list can go on for days - I want those wonderful
5th graders to know how much I appreciate them!

So I made them these SWEET Treats --

They had the Fall Candy on Sale right after Halloween, so it was a perfect time
to purchase a couple of bags of yummy goodness for the kids!

The toppers turned out so cute I think! :)
I used my Silhouette Machine & Program to create them -
The Clear Gusset Bags are from Jaded Blossom

The Handle Treat Bag topper is an SVG from
Lori Whitlock #67840

I used Digital Papers from
Miss Kate Cuttables #151646
Lori Whitlock #20765
Glitz Design #28610

Bear in Overalls with Pumpkin is a Print N Cut
from Stinkin Cute Paper #67419

The Font is Apple Cider Font #100403
The Banner is Carta Bella Banners #33147

The Kids LOVED these Treat bags and I'm thinking
for next month to give them a Pizza Party!
I'll talk to their Teacher and see what she thinks!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a FABULOUS Day!!
