Happy B-day Yupo -

Hello and Happy Monday Crafty Friends!
Did you have a nice weekend? Mine was boring! LOL

I actually didn't do much which was okay after the long week
I had... I made some phone calls to my family (checking on them)
and watched videos on youtube... I kept saying to myself...
Girl, make something crafty...
and then I would be like Nah forget about it! LOL

I still have projects done I haven't shared so
maybe I'll get around to creating again... Who knows...
for now, I'll just share what I've already made -

I totally LOVE the colors on this card -

I used an assortment of Alcohol Inks on some Yupo paper

Cardstock - Neenah Solar White, Yupo, DCWV Shimmer green
Banner Die - MFT
Stitched Square Die - Lawn Fawn
Cosmo Flower Frame Die - SSS
Sentiment - Polka DOt Orchard (Spread Your Wings)

It's Cake Day! Celebrate...

Hello & Happy Friday Everyone!
Are you ready for the weekend? I know I am!
We've been deep cleaning each classroom so you can
imagine I'm pretty busy all week long - So for me, the weekend
is what I need to unwind after a crazy week! 😊

This week I've been sharing some designs I've made
using my Silhouette Program and my IP8720 Canon Printer -

They are ALL Birthday cards since we need them monthly -

Here's another one I created a while ago that I was able to bring to life!

How Cute! Am I Right?
I do love how clean and simple this one turned out!
I printed & cut out 4 of the cupcakes and popped
1 on top of the center cupcake - just for a little added fun!

Cardstock - Stampin' Up, Neenah Solar White
Designer Paper - Colorbox 6x6 pad
Stitched Rectangle Frame Die - MCT (My Creative Time)
Sentiment, Hearts, & Cupcake images - Silhouette Store (#303598)
Clear wink of Stella pen used on the cupcake toppers & Tiny Hearts
Fun Foam for added dimension
Slanted banner dies - MFT (My Favorite Things)

Have a Safe and Happy Weekend!!!

Happy, Happy Rainbow B-day...

Hello, and Happy Wednesday Crafty Friends!
How is your week going so far? Mine? Not too bad I guess -

I finally found some paper towels last night - YAY!
I stopped by my local grocery store (needed potatoes)
Didn't find a bag of potatoes but found some cheap version
of paper towels - Since I really needed them, I didn't complain
about the brand - They have signs up everywhere limiting
everyone's purchase to 2 per household -
I'm hoping to find a bag of potatoes this week (keeping fingers crossed)

In the meantime, I made another card using my
IP8720 Canon Printer and my Silhouette Program -

You know we all need Birthday cards! So I put a few images together
and designed this fun Birthday card!

I added some Sheer Shimmer Sparkle Spritz and realized I need a
new bottle - it kind of splattered (I wasn't going for that look)
but it happened and It is what it is! hahaha

Cardstock - Bazzill White, Neenah Solar White, Stampin' Up
Happy Happy Rainbow Image - Silhouette Store (#298392)
Birthday Candle Image - Silhouette Store (#155047)
Bubble Birthday Background Image - Silhouette Store (couldn't find the Number)
Stitched Rectangle Frame Die - MCT (My Creative Time)
Fun Foam for added dimension

Wishing you all a Wonderful Day!!!

Happy, Happy, Happy...

Hello and Happy Monday Everyone!
I'm back from my Spring Break and I
see all the craziness going on in the world!

Remember I was without internet for a week
so I'm a little behind! This does explain the
easy drive home with less traffic - Boy it was
a quick and easy ride for a change! LOL

We are doing just fine and I still have to go to work -
The schools are closed but they want us to come in
and deep clean while we wait for school to re-open!
Hunter and I will be going in at night so the teaching staff
can be there during the day - we don't want anyone
to freak out if there's too many of us at school at once -

Our school has been keeping the whole staff up to date
with what's going on and what will be happening in
the near future - As far as I know our whole
staff is still employed and we are all doing our parts to help
the students with what they need -

My husband, who most of you know is disabled is
back at the other place - remember it is in the
middle of nowhere and I made sure to stock his fridge
and freezer before I left...
Although, that was a challenge since so many people
were buying up all the food! He was running low since the last time
I was there (which was back in February) - But I think
I got him squared away until I return Easter Weekend!

Of course, that worried me as Hunter and I returned to Utah...
We had no toilet paper in the house or paper towels
and we were really low on food since we knew we'd be gone
for a week and of course not realizing everyone
would freak out!  I did grab some extra toilet paper from
my husband, since he had more than enough to share with us...
But not enough paper towels (ooh, well) -

When we returned, traffic was sparse and we stopped to check our
Walmart out for some food.. thankfully they had meat in stock, eggs, and milk
so we were good about that, but still no paper towels - Otherwise
we are set for a little while - we did not hoard anything - we only took
what we needed for the time being - 1 gal. of milk, 1 pack of eggs,
1 pk of lunch meat, some cheese, some meat -
but certainly not more than what I felt we needed -
There were no canned goods, but that didn't bother me either -
I do have some canned food on hand as well

I'm just shocked by all the hoarding some people feel the need to do!
I get people are scared (Me not so much) but I get it for those that are -
But in a time of need for EVERYONE... WHY? on earth would they think
it's okay to hoard all the toilet paper and food? When there are
so many of us in this world who need it as well -

I guess helping your fellow man goes out the window when
some become panicked and scared - Of course, the Media is no help -

Anyway, I'll jump off my soapbox and share a card I made
over the weekend - I had a bunch designed in my Silhouette Program
awhile ago when I didn't have a printer - and now that I do I can
actually bring these designs to life! YAY

The images are from the Silhouette Store (#303598)
They are a sticker pack, so I used different ones in the pack to create my card front

I wanted this one to be for a female so I added some Clear Wink of Stella
to the Balloons and tiny hearts

This one could be for either or - But I didn't add any glitter to it -

The Stitched Rectangle Frame die is from (MCT) My Creative Time
I used Fun Foam to pop up the card front onto the card bases
The cardstock is - Papertrey Ink, Bazzil White, & Stampin' Up
My Printer is a Canon IP8720

I hope you are ALL doing well and are Healthy!

HUGS!

Quick Birthday...

Hello, & Happy Spring Break!!!! YAY!
Yup! It's finally here for us and we are on
our way to the other house to get some more work done!

Geesh! Why does that not sound exciting?
Ooh, wait... because it's NOT Exciting!!! LOL
But it is something that needs to be done before
moving day - Which is inching closer and closer!!

I've got one more quick card to show ya
before I head out of town -

This is another Silhouette Store Image (#297225)

It's called Happy Birthday Watercolor Floral - I love the colors

I just used a Stitched Rectangle Frame die
and popped it up with some fun foam right onto a
pacific point (SU) colored Card base -
I added some tiny clear adhesive gems and called it done!!

This will be another card I can use for school so a win-win for me!

I'll be gone for a week and I won't have internet -
So wish me luck and I'll see you guys when I return!

Have a BEAUTIFUL WEEK!!!!

Golden Christmas....

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
I told you the other day that I got a new printer and
today is going to be another image from the Silhouette Store
that I thought should be tested out -

Of course, this card will be going right into
my Christmas Stash for 2020!

The design from the Silhouette Store is (#236098)
The Stitched Rectangle Frame die is from (MCT)
The gold metallic Paper is from (Making Memories)
I used Fun Foam for added dimension
The White Cardbase is Neenah Smooth Solar White
And the White Card Front  (where my image is)
is Smooth White Bazzill Cardstock

Here's another photo of it - I was trying to show the
Clear Wink of Stella Glitter pen on the wreath &
Merry Christmas - I love that I don't have to spray
my images now! Yay Me!!!

Have a FANTASTIC DAY!!!

Many, Many Thanks...

Hello & Happy Tuesday Crafty Friends!
We have Rain pretty much ALL week long in the forecast! (bummer)
I guess it could be worse like (Snow) EEK!
Bite your tongue THERESA!!!
Either way, Spring break is just around the corner
and I'll be heading to the other place for painting -

We are hoping to get the whole inside of the
house painted! I don't know if all of it will
get done cuz it IS SPRING BREAK! Am I Right? LOL

As I mentioned last week in a post my poor
sweet Canon Pro 9000 printer died on me...
It's been about 5 months since I've actually had
a colored printer (oh the horror!!) So...
I finally bought myself a new one and I HAD
to try it out by using some images from
the Silhouette Store to print with -

I purchased another Canon of course (I LOVE Canon!)
It's an iP8720 and can print large papers like 12 x 12
It's also a pigment ink-based printer -
What that means is I don't have to use a protectant spray anymore
when I use my Wink of Stella pens! YAY!
It's actually GREAT for water coloring!!!

My other Canon and most inkjet printers are DYE INK Based
and they don't like water much, that is why I always
sprayed any of my Print N cuts with a Sealer first and let it
dry, so that I could use my water-based pens on the images
without them getting ruined...

So, I have a quick CAS card I made using an
image from the Silhouette store and my new printer -

I added tiny clear adhesive gems to the dots (CTMH)
The Stitched Scallop Frame Die is from (CDD)
The Stitched Rectangle Frame die is from (MCT)
The Red Dotted paper is from Doodlebug Designs
The White Cardstock is Neenah Smooth Solar White
I used a piece of Fun Foam for added dimension
And the Thanks Image is from the Silhouette Store (#77329)

This will work well at school since everyone always asks if I could
bring in more Thank You Cards! :)

Have a FABULOUS DAY!!!

Bottom of my heart....

Happy, Happy Friday Everyone!
It's the weekend and it's beautiful outside today!
I have a lot going on so I'll make this post as quick as I can!

I'm sharing another card created with this fun card kit
The card highlighted is the card I was supposed to be making...

Here's what I made instead...

The original design was a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 square card
Mine is an A2 sized card (4 1/4 x 5 1/2)

I used black cardstock for my card base and
I used a Stitched Rectangle Frame die (MCT) on my background paper
I cut down the label shape -
I added some extra scrap pieces on the one side
added some assorted flowers with leaves and used
clear wink of Stella on them -
The (Thanks) word die is from MFT and
the sentiment stamp is from Jaded Blossom

I really like that I'm able to put my own twist to the design!

Have a Magical Weekend!!

Peace

Hello & Happy Wednesday Crafty Friends!
Are you guys ready for Spring yet??
I know I am! It's supposed to be in the '70s for the
rest of the week! I can't wait! EEK!

I thought I would pop in with another
Holiday card! I made 2 and they were super quick
and easy to create in my Silhouette Program -

I actually made these a while ago - way before my printer died on me!
I'm still so sad about it! I miss my Canon pro 9000 printer! (Inserting Sad Face)

So, I basically took some different images from the Silhouette store that
went together and designed this on my card front - I Popped
up the Stag image and I sprayed my card front with some
Sparkle Shimmer Mist spray - along with adding some clear lucy's cards gems

(Silhouette Store)

Peace - 282157
Plaid Banner - 282158
Reindeer - 238408

The same thing goes for this card... I shrunk down the peace sentiment and
enlarged that beautiful poinsettia image - I sprayed the card front with the
Shimmer Mist and added some clear gems as well -

Both cards were popped up with Fun Foam and I used 2 different
Stitched Frame dies from MCT

(Silhouette Store)

Poinsettia - 282161
Inside Sentiment for both cards - 280688
