Oxide Christmas....

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
The weekend is almost here! YAY!
I recently ordered a large bookshelf, which will
be here tomorrow.... I'm gonna store my Stamps on it...
At least that's my plan! 😏

I got them all organized already, in those
plastic sleeves along with labels... but the shelf I
have (which my loving husband built me)
is not working out... so I'm hoping to get this new shelving unit
to work with all my stamps - Keeping my fingers crossed
it will work... I'm not sure what I'll do with my other shelf
But I think my hubby wants it, if I don't use it... So I better
come up with something before he snags it from me! 😂

I have my Weekly Holiday card to share with you today!
I'm using my brand New Distress Oxides I got recently from
They had a really good deal on them when it was a pre-order &
I was so excited when they finally arrived that I just had to make
something with them - They really are smoother than my
regular distress inks for sure... I think I'm in 💖

I totally 💖💖 the way this card turned out - It always makes
me happy when that happens! 😁
I used the Faded Jeans & Broken China Distress Oxides
First I stamped the snowflakes with versamark ink on white CS
then used some SSS Fine White Embossing powder -
Heat set it, then used the Oxides - they really blended so well
& smoothly together - After that I splattered some Sheer Shimmer
Frost Spritz on it - then let it dry for a second or two....

I then blended some more of the 2 colors
on some white scrap CS, so I could cut out
the Snowflake Die from Gina Marie Designs - I added a small
splatter of the Shimmer spray on it as well - You can see I brought
that same color to the inside of my card... 😃

--- Other Supplies Used ---

Cardstock - Stampin' Up, Georgia Pacific, Spectrum Noir Ultra
Snowflake Stamp set - SSS (Frozen Fractals)
"Christmas Wishes" Sentiment - SSS (Merry & Bright)
Polar Bear Image - My Favorite Things (Polar Bear Pals)
Spectrum Noir Markers
Clear Wink of Stella Pen on the Polar bears scarf
Long Banner Die - Lawn Fawn (Everyday Sentiment Banners)
Medium Stitched Rectangle die - Craftin' Desert Diva's
Stitched Rectangle Scallop Die - Craftin' Desert Diva's
Stitched Circle Die - SSS
Clear Itty Bitty Gems - CTMH
Snowflakes inside card - Martha Stewart Punch

Hello & Happy Monday Everyone!
How was your weekend? Mine was SLOW
& Steady.. I actually felt very tired all weekend long -
Maybe I need to get more sleep! Yeah... That's it! 😀

Today, I've got a FUN Shaker card I made for
another Teacher at School... I love Shaker
cards because, they are interactive for the person
who receives it... I know I love shaking them, so I
imagine, the person getting this card will do the same! 😄
It makes me Smile... it's those silly
little things that just make me happy! hahaha

The Paper Collection I used is from Echo Park called (Party time)
I added an assortment of sequins from Craftin' Desert Divas
and the Stitched Card Mat die is from My Creative Time

I really enjoy using different products from all the
different companies out there.... everything just works
so well together! 😄

I made this to be a more masculine card,
but it could totally work for a female as well....

Happy Holidays/Christmas....

Hello & Happy Friday Everyone!
YAY! The weekend came back around!
I've had a rough week trying to get back
into the groove of working after being off
a week... I think I'm finally there...
but now it's the weekend again....
so hopefully I'll be okay come Monday!

I've got my weekly Holiday card to show you -
I made 2 of them.... same design different papers....
I'm not a huge fan with how they turned out -

Sometimes when I get an idea... I go with it
and hope it turns out like I thought.. and sometimes
it does and I'm thrilled... sometimes it's just okay and I
live with it... because..well that's life! 😉

Of course while making these cards - I made a
boo boo... I'm sure you've all been there before
when creating something - So then I had to fix it
and I think that's where I was like... ugh.. whatever!

As you can tell... they are the same... I think the Wink of Stella on the
Happy Holidays shows a little to much... but it was really plain
without something ---

The (Happy Holidays) is a Silhouette File (# 52372)
I cut it out 3x's using adhesive backing to make layering it
easier.... The designer Paper is from Echo Park (I Love Winter)
and I used a Red Wink of Stella Glitter Pen

The (Merry Christmas) is a Gina Marie Designs die,
cut out 3x's as well...
I added Clear Wink of Stella to shimmer it up a little bit...
The Designer Paper is Echo Park (I Love Christmas)

** Other Products Used **

Cardstock - Papertrey Ink, Bazzill, Stampin' UP
Itty Bitty Clear Gems - CTMH
Stitched Card Mat Die - MFT
Big Shot, Silhouette Machine
Adhesive - ATG, ThermOweb, Elizabeth Double Sided

My week is going slowly since taking
a week off... I'm trying to get my GROOVE
back but it may take another week to do it... 😲

In the mean time... I have another Fun Card
to show ya... I made this using the adorable
Paper Collection from Echo Park called (Magic & Wonder)

You know I volunteered to make cards for the
Teachers & Staff at my School
So this is one I designed for a Male teacher

I'm sure if I used some Wink of Stella on this card - it would
totally work for a female as well! 😊

I LOVE circles... so that's what motivated me to make this
card ... I just started out with the cool tag from the paper
collection.. then saw circles in my design... I really like
the way this card turned out -

** Products used on this card **

Cardstock - Papertrey Ink, Bazzill
"Birthday" Sentiment - Computer Generated
Stitched Card Mat Die - My Creative Time

I Finally took some time to ink & color this little cutie up!
The Card design is a Sketch from Sweet Sunday Sketches #192
And of course I added some of my favorite Designer Paper from
Doodlebug Designs called Home for the Holidays & Sugar Plums

I'm really liking the design along with that awesome Chain Pierced
Die from Gina Marie Designs -

I've been asked by a couple of people if I do the
inside of my holiday cards as well...
and the answer to that is YES!! Yes I do!

Here's the inside of this card, so you can see what I did...

I try to incorporate the papers from the front of my card

Happy Birthday Post it Wishes...

Hello & Happy Wednesday Everyone!
(This is another Pre-Scheduled Post)

I showed you my Local Card Swap cards on Monday's Post
using a Design from Kimberly Harris over at:

Well... I liked the cards so much
that I decided to turn them into Birthday
Cards for the Teachers at my school -
I made a Male & Female Version

-- Happy Birthday Wishes Cards --

These turned out so COOL! I have a LARGE stash of used/cut up
Designer Paper (Don't we ALL) So I thought I could use
some up to make these cards -- The differences between these
cards & Monday's Cards are:  I used Designer Papers, I used the
Paper Clip Die, & I used a Wish Word Die - 😁

I think this card turned out so pretty with
the purple & green combo

March Card Swap Cards....

Hello & Happy Monday Everyone!
This is a Pre-Scheduled Post since I'm still on Vacation!
I'm apart of a local Card Swap group as most of you
already know.... And this month's theme was
Congratulations! Which is up too you on that part...
(Baby, Grad, New Home, Etc.)
We did have a sketch... But I did NOT follow the sketch -
I just wasn't feeling that sketch at ALL --- 😒

Sooo... I decided, I wanted to use some of my
AWESOME dies that I haven't used - I was
Inspired by Kimberly Harris over at: Kimberly Harris Studio

This is her card that I CAS(E)'D

She used several My Creative Time Dies for hers,
So I did the same! 😁

-- Here's what I came up with --

I choose to do a H.S. Grad Card!
The School Colors here are Red & Black -
I liked the layout of Kimberly's design, so I stuck with that -
But chose to raise my Stitched "post it" paper
& add a Die Word. I thought cutting it
out in Red CS would really make the word POP!
I cut it out 3 x's for added dimension - AND,
I wanted this to be for a Female Graduate
so I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the word "Congrats"
along with some clear gems & Glittered Enamel Dots -

I made some plain, just in case some of the ladies in my card swap group wanted one for a male graduate -- They really liked the Dies
that I used & the Cork --

-- Supplies Used on these Cards --

Cardstock - Papertrey Ink, Georgia Pacific, Bazzill, Stampin' Up
Specialty Paper - DCWV Adhesive Cork 6x6 pad
"You did it" Sentiment - Computer Generated
Clear Wink of Stella Glitter pen on the word (Congrats)
Doodlebug Glitter Enamel Dots
itty bitty Clear adhesive Gems - CTMH
(Grad) Hat Die inside my cards - Sizzix
(Tools Used) - Big Shot, Silhouette Program, Printer

-- Dies from My Creative Time --

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Have a FABULOUS DAY!!
